I think you should keep the secret to yourself. The reason I say this is because no man should have the power to decide who lives and who dies.

Not knowing when one will die is a clue to live life to the fullest, and to try to make every minute matter!

What is really going on here?

A little birdie told me that this thread is bunk!

Well, I seriously doubt that hes telling the truth, and is out for points.
But if he is telling the truth, hes not gonna tell us anyway. Basically the best thing to do with it is to go out in public and spread it for free. Otherwise people will think its a scam and think your out for money. Send me a u2u, so we can discuss this. If you want, otherwise stop wasting our time.

Very good, almost one of the first posts that focus on the subject
(fortunately there been few others) Most people just doubt whether or not immortality is even possible. I think it is quite sad to see that they come here only to see what is spoken about, if they don't like it, they just bash it and blame me for lying yet they don't know nothing about themselves.

Your answer is good btw. I think I should keep it to myself, wait until I sense I'm about to grow weary about the world and life, then re-check the situation - if I feel that mankind is worth of the knowledge now, I'd use it myself and start teaching. But who am I to judge of being worthwhile or not

Let's assume again that I can decide whether I can stay or not. I would certainly depart if the mankind continues on its current path and no chance is in the air. I would keep repeating the teachings of grand masters in my own way, and live until I grow weary for mankind. I'm already longing for home

I'm sorry. You can choose by yourself how you waste your time. I think I am wasting more my time than anyone else's time by doing this.

Hi.

Let me make my mind clear please. Do you know how to be immortal or not?
Simple question, because I'm confused right now lol.

I hope that this will help you to make up your mind. About me being able to extent life beyond mortality wasn't really the issue. I asked moderators to rephrase the topic of this thread to "what if...".

Sincerely,

So this is a "what if" scenario ... good then.

I should mention though, about a week or two ago on either a PBS documentary or our local CBS news (I forgot which and I heard the tv but wasn't watching) they said that a genetic engineer has found the aging gene in rats or mice and it's just a matter of applying it to the human species. They think that a human life can be extended to 800 years.

Now for the ethical question ... I would say "no, don't tell anybody". Scum rises to the top of the septic tank of society and eventually there would only be scum-people.

When they first started transplants the ethical question was raised questioning whether people would stoop to 'selling' body parts. Their Think Tank decided that would NEVER happen. As we all know; it happens a lot!

I know you don't have the secret to immortality, and I wouldn't use it if I had that secret.

My vote is: Take it to the grave.

Please keep this knowledge to yourself. i don't think i could survive another highlander Movie, i almost died watching the last one, and considering it was a movie that was based on immortals i find that quite ironic

p.s. what if death is just the next step.

I guess you're right. If I had such gift, I certainly wouldn't be posting about it!

But I'm not sure, whether or not I should take it to the grave with me. I could use my capability to live long and teach people to become in their senses

But yeah, I don't really know

Knowledge is power, Power is Control, Controlled Power is Corrupt, Corrupt Power is having the lack of true knowledge. All i see is people losing focus on the goals. So you posted this To harass people or what? I think the mods should ban him for getting the posters all riled up and interested over nothing but a short discussion of a young mans ego trip while he is himself is evaluating the meaning of his life. Thus why he focuses on immortality because he in reality is probably suicidal and would like to beleive that if he hurt himself he would live... I would reccommend that you relax a bit, clear your mind, and ask yourself... who are you kidding?- Im pointing at you, my other 3 fingers pointing back at me are just mocking me saying haha... you read that guys thread.

As for immortality... I suppose if you figured out a way to stop degeneration on the cellular level then it is possible... wether through diet or electromagnetivity, possibly a mind of matter thing on the spiritual level... If you did figure anything out It raises a good question on who is worthy for such knowledge. Suppose you did, dont use it on yourself you would rather mock people then inform. Give it to someone like mother Theresa please. Work for the Betterness of mankind- Our species is about to self destruct with today mantality. Live Well bud

If it involves these thing's count me out.

1) Having my limbs chopped off and being sewn back together

2) A large bolt inserted in my neck.

3) 50 JIGGAWATT'S off electric current passed thru my lifeless mortal coil.

And finally some nutty scientist shouting it's alive IT'S ALIIIIVVVVEEE !

Then you can count me out.

But if it just a jab in the ass with a tiny needle.

THEN YOU CAN COUNT ME IN !!!!!

Take care.

I think you hit the target more than in few occasions
But no, I'm not suicidal, at least to my knowledge.

Of course I knew that immortality would be interesting to many, so basically this post was just provocation as you correctly pointed out; it is a challenge to start seeing where everyone stands on this issue, and the issue is not immortality, but moral state of humankind in fact.

No my friend, the immortality I had in mind does not include either, but it really wasn't the issue, but since many other has been wondering the same: It has lot to do with something that Geemor and rjmelter above has said.

Ok matie.

Now my serious post.

Ask yourself why do you seek immortality ?

Ask yourself again.

Why is there such a word as immortality ?

We all shure know what mortality is dont we it's when we walk out into that road or that bullet flies over our head.

But all we know about immortality is that it is ever lasting.

So dont worry about it you have a thing called a soul man/women and that is true immortality.

Take care.

Lee

Ok So im Circling the drain of Truth where as the object is to get sucked into the drain for it is good and not bad. My guess is you are hinting at the spiritual aspect of life? Perhaps why it is that human-kind does not need to be immortal? Or are you adding that we are immortals in a short term body here on earth as we move on to the next life for educating ourselves slowly with the knowledge of the Universe as the Creator- Life force- had designed?

I may have come across as cocky, and arrogant and I do appologize but I like it when someone is direct to the point. Although i can see myself posting something like this
. Testing out the virtues, ethics, and perhaps the sprituality of fellow man. Life is very important, unfortunately it is this negative impact that either empowers us to good or bad. If Physical immortality were real, I would ask for a cure so I could die... it would be a terrible burden that few could bare. In fact few would be able to handle it without corrupting society- as one person does have a big impact on the world... They set seeds in the mind and they are hard to dig back out.

Good post, although it is not really conspiracy... or are trying to get it to that point of where human-kind is hiding the real past of spirituality and the true knowledge of the past which has been lost to us?

Great thoughts. But what if one does not seek immortality, but it comes.. hmm, how could I put it..? As a by-product? And it is something that one doesn't really need. But in case I (or someone else in matter of fact) had such a gift or curse, that so many people have sought, how should one react to it? I could sell the knowledge and buy food to the hungry? I could spend my loooooong eternity helping others? When one really starts to think about the options, not many of them are good. If I'd sell it to someone to help the poor, soon I'd notice that the one I sold the secret is becoming almighty tyrant of the world... or something else. IMO best bets so far has been taking the secret into grave with me, or bear this world, try to help people in delicate way to rise higher in consciousness so that they one day could be responsible enough for immortality.

On the other hand, this is such waste of thought since I am beginning to think that death is inevitable and necessary step in human evolution. But I don't know.. Any more good thoughts about it?

Yea, that has crossed my mind sometimes, but it was not my intention to direct the conversation on that direction.

And yeah, maybe it would be wiser to die even if one had a chance to immortality.

Is that in regards to me or the bulldog avatar man? However, we have to make choices, that is why in Christian Belief and in others... there will be a great judgement... perhaps this judgement is to weed out all of the negative impact of life... Also i might add sometimes you have to have both forces at work... Yin and Yang, North and South, it is how all magnets and others work...Atoms have protons and electrons... where though, there is a necleus. Where it is neutral... maybe that is the hint of the universe... in the root of all things there is the truth, but you have to join a side, or keep secret the truths of all things. Im glad I am not immortal Life here is very challenging indeed.

You became to contribute lot for me.. I really have to think what you (and others) have said above. Indeed the universe is within us and us within it. Or so I do believe. Thanks for not abandoning this thread on the first sight

Ok then then listen to this one for a head banger.

What if we all do just live on what if i go to bed tonight and die in my sleep ?

But instead of me knowing i have died in my sleep i just wake up and continue my everyday life.

I dont realise i have left behind my loved one's but to them i am gone.

It's hard to explain but....

I have woken to a totally SYMETRICAL reality and the person who was there before me moved out as i came in.

This conversation we are having just for example maybe i just died at the keyboard but did not even realise it.

What is death ?

Personally i have never spoken with anyone at there own funeral but maybe the person that passed away went onto a different plane of existance.

Im not talking about heaven maybe when there time came they just did not even realise it.

Now you can argue this by saying well what about someone who has a long term illness like cancer but not just cancer other terminal illnesses.

Well my personal opinion is that someone who suffer's from cancer or another terminal illness has got to the end of there journey.

They cant wake up the next day life just wont go on for them its the END.

But when i say the end i dont mean fullstop.

I mean they go onto something higher and from personal experiance i have seen this higher energy.

It was a blue white light the size of a tennis ball and zip off it went.

DE JA VOUS ANYONE ?

Take care

Lee
