OMG LOL, you scared the daylights outta me, I only caught a glimpse at first and thought I was hallucinating

Two points in this picture,if it was really an anomaly said,it sure looks strong and scary.much like a standing ape.closer look at the kicked up part and you see a figure bending down at its 'knees'.

Second point,if you really extract out the outline itself,it looks like somewhat a limestone structure,I doubt it.more of an outstanding rock piece.

Hey everyone. Im not decided myself on what the image might be but i couldnt resist but to add another. I think i found another figure and find it awfully coincidental that 'all of a sudden' all these images are being released. Myself i believe there could be many possibilities: They could be statues? Random rocks, Trees etc. theres loads to choose from. So for now rather than babble on about what it is or could be il just add the image and people can make their own minds up.

Sorry they are not of higher quality but i dont have software to do so. As you can see it looks alot like the other 'figures' seen. Might be my imagination but it looks like you can clearly identify a Head, Body, Arms and Legs. Hope they were of help.

It is just a illusion. If you look a the rooks around and near it. You can see it has the same type of color as those rocks.

There are three other things in this photo that are MUCH more interesting, in my opinion, than the rock from the OP.

A couple of these have been mentioned. I'm not sure if the third one has. But I'm going to offer my opinion on it anyway:

The first one is this..



At first glance, it almost looks like a dead animal. I highly doubt it is, but just at a quick first glance, that's the impression I get. A big stick was another impression I got, which would indicate trees, but it's clear there are no trees in that area. Other than that, I guess it could be a very weird flat rock.

Nevertheless, I find that object quite interesting.

The second one is this..



I have no clue what this is. First impression was a piece of tin foil or something reflective like that. Possibly just a piece of the rover that fell off. This all depends on the scale, of course.

It's still interesting though.

This really really looks like a dried up pond or lake to me. We all know water typically puddles in grooves or areas of lower elevation from the rest of the landscape.

This area is lower than the rest of the landscape and could be a place where water would puddle.

But look at the ridges, waves, grooves, what ever you want to call them, in the sand. Of course, this could be because of the wind. But doesn't it look an awful lot like water waves in the sand? And this area is completely different from it's surroundings. Everything else is covered in large rocks. This area is just smooth and wavy.

Anyway, I thought those were interesting.

That's highly likely a meteorite. Note you can see sand on it.

It's a martian sand-fish critter leaping from beneath the surface!!!

that explains the 'burst' of sand from the bottom of the 'figure' er-um shadow.
You see it has an eye, mouth, and a horn at the top of its 'nose'

Where is this figure exactly? Because I can't find anything?

Do you even read what your writing before you post it? Just think about the odds and then take a look at your cruddy picture and imagine how unbelievable it is to think that you are correct.

First of all, what’s to say that life in Earth didn’t come from Mars, who knows what happened up there and maybe they headed here, in that case we would look very similar wouldn’t we? Just look at Humans, I mean we all come from different parts of the planet with thousands of years without us meeting, we have different colours but all still have a head, torso, arms and legs! Why? Because we came from the same place originally.

Maybe you should be the one reading what you’re writing before you post it.

You nor anyone else on here can’t prove 100% that it’s a rock and shadows; just as we can’t 100% prove that it’s something else.

I want to find life on Mars as much as any other nut job on this planet. All you need to do is look at the rock and realize its a rock, it could be a rock from a meteor or anywhere else which could explain the strange shape however it doesn't change the fact that it is still a rock.

Anyone who cries wolf at a picture like this is failing to see the point of space exploration. It is like the picture of the lockness monster that was hoaxed and so many believe it to be true. You see what you want to out of ignorance.

Obviously if we came from a different planet we would look like the life forms on said planet. The problem is that Mars doesn't have oxygen to house a human. Us being oxygen thriving beings means we didn't come from Mars, and if we did it was when there was oxygen. Therefor anything currently living & breathing on mars isn't breathing oxygen to survive.

It all reminds me of when I ran through pictures trying to find aliens myself. You get looking at them for so long that you just want to clip out anything and say it looks alive because the search is frustrating. Good Advice is DONT - keep looking until you yourself are convinced it must be something important. Otherwise, we get blurry objects that could've been taken in an arizona rock bed and never even know the difference. This is the same reason why no scientist would ever believe in this picture.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

It looks like a dried lake/pond to me with the wavy grooves in the sand. The surface is smooth, as opposed to the rest of the surface around the area which is filled with large rocks.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was water there at some point in the past.

Anyone else think that's possible?

There probably was, good job Novus.

We have confirmed the presence, and past presence of water on mars. Most likely much more in the past than the present, but they still claim life probably can't be housed in it for lack of nutrients.

Looks like u nabbes a shot of an ETE.

looking at the sand at the base of the being (possibly?) it loks like the sand is distorted, ethier on this side and the sand is moving bcuz of foot movements, or on the other side of it and its destorted bye some form of Camoflague.

Just my speculation, would be cool if it was.

Sorry I forgot to tell you all about the snakes in that pit and the girl with triangle head next to the big one.Same exact panorama.

looks strange to me but is it just a rock? as someone said it looks kinda like tree bark.. of course that can be deceiving too

This will at least show that you did get a LIVE being and about 10 more in same frame.That is a snake person with small head slightly larger than PING PONG ball sized.To your right hand side is a face closer to our size.Other more animal faces are all round. Oh that's a good one snakelike the one that looks like a monkey in positive image,but no arms in reality.These are one of the most common Mars animals,and what's freaky is some have very human heads,some animal heads.

Just joined the thread - some of these pictures are superb.

I laughed when I saw the response about it "being a tree stump or something" - this discovery would be as enormous and exciting as if it was a little green man (just think about it!)

The lake picture is a cracker - you notice that there are no rocks in the lake and the size gets bigger as you get further away. Typical pattern that you can see on earth near dried river bed

Ok now,if you want to see a Mars face sincerely,like 5 seconds.Look at the positive image of your yellow box and lower right hand side like where the monkeybutt would point and the bottom quarter of Yellow frame shows a large animal face with rings around the eyes.Again,non,human,but proof of life on Mars.
