If RH factor and psychic abilities are related, I wonder if people of Basque origin(largest percentage of any people with RH negative factor) anymore psychic than the general population. Anyone here who is of Basque origin and are you a psychic ?

You can and I have several times a year for the last 6 years. I have staples in my body. I also couldn't get my platinum wedding ring off so they let me keep my ring on as well.
The MRI tech said they ask that all metal be removed as a safety precaution mainly due to the horrors of the old MRI machines but small amounts of metal will not cause any issues. Most newer MRI machines have evolved and are built differently now.

Hmmm. When I discovered I was pregnant I was told that I needed an immune globlin shot or the baby or I (I forget which but am leaning towards me) would die. In the hospital after 36 hours AGONY I was told I needed an immune globlin shot or my milk would posion the baby (or some other relavant reason). (ew made from people-is what I was told). The RH- shot.
But now his dad was A- (not sure if that means RH-) so maybe or maybe not it was neccesary.
Then I discovered that since I was A- and his father was A- that he would be A- too. At least that has been my understanding. I have been trying to get a strait answer from a doctor over the years but I'm a mouse and it is easy to work me away from a conversation-and simply for some reason doctors don't just hand you your blood type any more. Some day I'll go in just to find out for sure if he is. Can boys even be RH-?

You did not need the immune-globulin shot. and the father are both Rh-
Your doctor should have done a blood-typing test on your baby after it was born BEFORE administering the immune-globulin shot.
Also, I have never heard of a mother's milk poisoning a baby if there is a Rhesus incompatibility.
Anyway, I'm glad both you and your son faced no complications. Your son is definitely Rh negative but could be A or O negative.
