Actually that isn't linking 2012 with the book of revelation, it's a rather an attempt at linking it to the prophecy of Malachi, which itself is questionable. Anybody can make a prophecy of the last days, but that doesn't link it to the book of revelation.

The 21/12/2012 date is also the winter solstice date, which will happen at 11mins past 11 AM, or 1111, a number that is worth noting for its global popularity lately. Also, the greatest megalithic, legendary ancient cultures all point out this era as being a time of change, and destruction. The oldest Egyptian, Mayan, and Vedic cultures all seem to begin around 3100 BC, and all claim the same time period for this shift. The Kali Yuga began in 3102 BC, and ends right around 2012. The worlds oldest city, Uruk, is founded about 3100, The Mayan calendar says this age began in 3113 BC, and the First Dynasty of Ancient Egypt started around 3100 too. The Hopi, Aborigines, Maori, Dogon, Bible, and many others say now is the time. I particularly like the Hopi 9 signs, and the Vedas description of the end of the Kali Yuga, both of which very accurately describe our current times.
Also, astrologers say we are now entering Aquarius, and some have even pointed to 2010 as the point Pisces is no longer the reigning sign. The ancient Greeks even noted the 21/12/2012 date as the Suntelia Aion, a time of catastrophe.
I could go on for pages, but suffice to say 2012 is in a league by itself as far as prophecies go. No other ones come close in terms of their age, their worldwide origins, or their agreement on the dates, event, and its catastrophic results.

So now you're calling me evil because I think the Catholic religion is a false religion? Read the bible and then learn about the catholics and notice... and this goes to the protestant splinter groups too.... that most of their teachings goes completely against what the bible, Jesus, and the apostles taught. How is it you can't see this simple little fact? Because you're set in your ways and that's fine.... it's simply the establishment of catholicism that I dislike because of what it's done to christianity over the years. Study the origins of christianity itself and learn about the first church Jesus built and the apostles started their sermons from. I can tell you it's not the catholic church. Research my friend, research.

Just a little point I think is worth making. You say Jesus built the church yet my study supports a different origin. Paul looks to be the person mostly to blame for starting the church. Jesus, called Rabbi many times in the bible, was a Jew. The Rabbi references are a dead giveaway, and I found nowhere that he ever renounced his faith, nor that he founded Christianity. No matter, though, since he was a very forgiving person.

There is no religion. There is no governement. There is no group. There is no family.

Their is only the original creator and the creation.

There is only "God" and "you".

Each person has their own account.

All the things in the world are of the world. Think of these as "jobs". Think of the account you have with God as a bank account. Each Job pays X dollars. There however are people doing much better with their bank accounts that make little from their job because of the way those that make lots from their jobs stewart their accounts.

No "Church" is "Evil" unless all Churches are Evil.

There is only YOU and GOD. You'd all better consern yourself with that fact. To point your finger outward and accuse others of being evil is to LIE to yourself in thinking YOU are GOOD. This illusion is bad stewarting of your accounts and you'll be bankrupt when the bills come dew.

At present I am Lecturing in China, on Optical Interface Computer Systems and Related subjects, such as Ancient Greek and Hebrew Writings.

The following may be of a little interest to you, and clear up a few matters involving Humankind or as they truly are, only Primates.

There are more than 110 different Greek versions of The book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ, commonly known as The Revelation today.

This book is mistakenly understood to be a Revelation of the so Called Last Days.

In fact it is Not this but is a Revelling of The Christ and the Birth of The Man Child and has Nothing at all to do with Humankind!

The "Bright and Early Morning Star" mentioned in The Revelation, being as Christ States..

It is Not Venus, as many Monkeys or Humans would make it out to be...

In fact Christ is also known as the "Day Star" (see Peter) and also as "The Sun of Righteousness" ( Malachi 4:2) and "The Light of Man which is The Life of God" (in The Book of John) and also as "The Light of The World"!

The original Greek texts do Not Mention Churches at All, but The Assembly of Lights instead..

It is The Roman Church that is Responsible for Corrupting the Writings!

"The 7 Spirits of Lights" are the 7 Colour codes of "The Light of The World"...
Red, Orange ,Yellow, Blue, Indigo, and Violet.

These Colours were also displayed on the 7 branched Lamp-stands which are also known as the Candle Sticks mentioned in the Original Greek and Hebrew texts of The Revelation...

This can be found in other books of the Bible as well.

The Greek and Hebrew Writings that make up your bible, which are All parables, for The True Mind and Not Humankind or Monkeys, have been
corrupted by Humankind.

This is why there is so much confusion to humankind over the bible.

In Fact Jesus, makes No Mention of The Roman, or Roman Catholic or Catholic Church, or any other Church of Humankind at all, in the Original Greek and Hebrew Texts.

The references were made to The assembly or assembly of Lights and not Humankind!

The original Language was in fact ZIONic, which the IONic Greek Language was constructed from at the time of The tower of Babel.

This language (ZIONic which is a Lost Language to humankind, re the
Books of Ezra) was only Upper case Lettering.

This is because it was strictly a Geometric language and Not of spoken nature.

In the Year approx 150 if I recall correctly The Romans established the New Greek Language which is referred to today as The New Testament Greek Gramma.

And here is the Corruption of the Church of humankind, as Jesus refers to in some of the thousands of scripts not included in your bible, some of them having been removed by humankind in the interests of Roman Politics, but are of The Synagogue of Satin.

Jesus Said, when he has gone, the "Wicked One" wll come and deceive the Whole World and that has happened! (The Wicked One is Humankind)

Note:- Jesus said The Whole World, not some, But the whole World would be Deceived!

Excellent prediction yes the Earth will be here for a very, very Long time.

So you see the writings are a record and the Dooms day theory, is a little worn out, and almost Lost now. LOL

All happened about 2,000 years ago....

The True books are the books of Life and are eternal...

Many of the ancient manuscripts such as your Bible are Not forecasts for the End of everything (or Dooms-Day Theorists).

Your God is meant to be LOVE. "GOD is LOVE"

The end that is portrayed in the Bible is the Separation of what you call Good and Evil to Introduce the Birth of The Man Child!

The Birth of "The Man Child" is The Return of "The Son of Man"!

The Old City or Organised Structure is cast out to the outer part of the Soul and a new Structure is formed in the Center of the Soul which then has the New Holy City or organised Structure in it.

The description in The Revelation has Nothing at all to do with Human Primates!

It is about The Soul, It's Structure, and The Birth of The Man Child!

Most people make mountains out of pebbles !,
Believe what you want, you do not need to substantiate your beliefs to anyone.
The Mayan stopped chiseling dates into the rocks does that mean its the end times date, of course not.
IT can mean they changed their views or discontinued the practice. Can mean a lot of things.
I believe there is something to it and that there is in fact other sources that point to an end times fast approaching us.
what does this mean though
the end of Pisces and a shift into Aquarius ,Perhaps .But it can mean what ever the human mind can conjure up.
Make your own minds up Do not believe the beliefs of others .Research it all for yourself and make a conclusion based on your own mind.Rationalize it for yourselves.

I also fear that there may be some validity to this 2012 prediction. However many also believed that Y2k also had it's evidence even to the point where I recall people from the powere companies were buying generators. But we all knw how Y2k went, and many people spent alot money for really just piece of mind. Now if the 2012 predictions are as global and devastating as we appear to believe, we (and by we I mean that there may also be gain from Big buisness if 2012 falls through) are really doing nothing more then creating panick. Honestly though if It's as big as many believe it is, then what can we do? Nothing, just bend over and kiss our buts good bye. In matter of fact if we only have 4 more years of existence why are we wasting our time online? whether disaster is close or not I am just going to live my life in the normal way. Besides If the world is really coming to an end in 4 years, it's a good time for a student loan right?

I'm new here. I'd just like to say, "Great Site". I'm wondering about this whole 2012 prophecy the ancient Mayians so called predicted, as well as other cultures. I do hope I'm writing well here as I am on my first cup of cofee,lol. But my question is this, most fads become global, fashion, the use of cell phones, religious beliefs etc. Maybe other cultures were just getting on the band wagon with the Mayan or vica versa. Pyramids were erected in Eygpt, there also in Mexico & Asia & so on. So, people have a tendency to copy & want to do what everyone else is doing. Maybe that's all this is, (prophercy wise). Just like repeating & copying one another, "Hey, I heard this great story" & it got passed around in this fashion. Another question, What do most people do when there finished with there yearly calendar hanging on their walls? They throw it out. I think we've only scratched the surface. I think there could be another tablet or calendar that the Mayans made that we haven't unearthed yet or maybe it has been hidden from us. Besides that look at the Bible, do you think that the one we know of today hasn't been altered & isn't missing loads more information because the so called Higher ups are trying to control us & our thoughts & have us conform.
