Whats the deal with all of the endtimes hoopla. This stuff seems to come in big spurts about every 6 months. I recall a post similar to this a while back saying that there was an asteroid that was to come dangerously close to Earth. Is this the same kind of scenario? Passing at an estimated distance of 300+k miles doesnt seem too far, but even if an asteroid was going to impact earth, do you honestly think that NASA would do anything?

They have been covering up ET for decades to save their own behinds, so who is to say that they would want to save anyone else other than themselves. It also doesnt sit well with me that with all of the UFO sightings that are getting legit coverage on the news, weather anomolies, bad economic news, and the "Life after people" airing tonight, that more odd/negative stuff keeps coming up day after day.

If this is the elites way of telling us that you know what is about to hit the fan, then I might forego my usual taking grain of salt with all of this and just head for the hills. But even that wont do me any good.

This stuff freaks me out.

I agree, NASA won't do crap for us. I don't see why they would hide anything on the asteroid. It seems stupid that anyone would hide something like this from the general public...

... if you look in the top box under 2008 AFE it show that NEO was at 1.0 (LD) lunar distance, which in the closest left hand column it lists that distance as .0025au, and my previous post shows the MOID as being .00125

I dont want to start a new thread so i will tell you about my dream here;

I'm watching tv and people are testing microphones and its all in preparation of a huge speech that Bush is going to be giving...It ws a somber occasion, people were running around scared, it appeared to be an emergency of some kind.

I woke up. Not much of a dream but could this be that Bush will be giving a speech prior to this thing hitting??

It was not going to be your regular speech. Much to my dismay, in my dream i thought "Asteroid" :shk:

I hope this is just a bad dream due to indigestion or something.

They will not tell us until we are just hours from getting hit, IMO.
THEN we will be told.

ALSO,the dream was not due to this thread or any other here as i never gave them another thought.

Just another thing I thought and that will probably be ignored:

Is the Heliosphere a dielectric medium?

If it's not, then there will be no discharge of plasma or any other electrical charge equilibrium because when they get close to each other there will be no difference in charge.

my friend has had some bad omens. I got sick this friday. I don't know if it's 'a sign' but i don't get sick ever. I don't know, the timing of all these weird events just keeps getting more perfect everyday. Today i couldn't even keep my balance.

On the subject of plasma discharge, one thing to observe are the weather patterns. Here in London we've had the most unusual weather with sudden showers of rain and about 6:30 pm gmt today several clouds in the dark sky had a silvery glow to them from where I saw them. I do hope this is pure coincidence.

You know what?
If this is headed for Earth, they probably won't tell us until it's right on our doorstep.
I doubt that the powers that be wants the whole world panicking at the same time.

well that is true but it still somewhat wrong to hide this. I don't know, something just tells me we should know something that we aren't being told. I can't really explain...

the MOID stands for minimum orbit intersection distance. to me it looks like it is coming inside of the moons orbit...is there an astronomer out there that can tell me that this is wrong and why?

Well the MOID would be the part of the moons orbit closest to earth. Because the moon has an elliptical orbit, the distance from the moon to earth would be higher than the MOID for most of it's orbit. Depending where TU24 passes (
) and the orbital path of the moon, would dictate whether it "came inside" the moons orbit.

Hi Spidy,
Ok, tell me what you would do if you knew for certain that it was going to directly hit Earth.
For instance, in the morning you turn on your tv and the President is making a speech and telling us that it will hit Earth on a certain date.
I would like others to think about this for a few minutes and reply.
Thanks

If it came over the morning news I would make my husband stay home from work, we would keep the kids at home from school, and spend the whole day together like nothing was going to happen. Make some fried scallops and have a really good meal. To me if I got to worked up thinking the end was coming my kids would then freak so I think its best to just sit back and relax and not say much in front of them.

Does anyone know where this object could hit?

Have they narrowed the possibilities down to at least one continent?

I would do exactly what I do each day, even if there were (or was?) 100% certainty of an end of the world scenario, my last on Earth may be any day, I do not have anything special prepared for that day.

Oh, and the weather is normal for this time of year here in Portugal, dry and cold, and I do not understand why a future plasma discharge could make the weather change.

Yes, none.

It is supposed to pass farther away than the Moon.

does anybody else here consider the posibility that, the astroid is not an astroid??

i personally don't trust anything coming from Nasa, anyhow i was thinking about the subject and about nasa putting this out there why? idk but i was thinking about how they did not know of this astroid until october of 2007, now my personal theory is that that object is not a rock but its actually a Alien Mothership that had warped in to our solar system and is headed our way, that would explain why no one had seen it until october when it warped into our solarsystem.

This mothership is headed our way and will NOT for any reason change course, sooo... nasa/goverment is disguisting the MS as a Rock. so this MS will be passing quite close to our planet and our moon and we will proboably see it but will think is a rock. it might even land here but of course we won't know it did, or land on the moon and again of course we won't know it did. i'm no expert at anything here but just expressing my personal thoughts on this subject. sorry if i mispelled any words i'm not very good at english yet.

well to tell ya the truth. if I was an Alien coming to annihilate earth,
I think I would have picked a closer wormhole to go thru than to
take me 4 months to get here. I mean that's kinda bad planning
don't you think? Even at that, motherships thought to be capable of
light speed would not settle for Mach 14 like it is moving.

I think I'd discredit the mothership theory. But that is only my opinion

unless you think they would consider Mach 14 as more stealthy. LOL

now if TU24 gets right to our orbit and then cloaks ...... then it's
Houston, we have a problem

As far as we know it wont hit, from most of what the figures are saying it will go between us and the moon. Not on the other side of it. There is plenty of evidence showing it will go between the 2. Of course there also is evidence that these have come close to us before and we were never told by NASA until about a week later. But this one is making me nervous, not sure why but it is. I guess it is because most are usually on the other side of the moon instead of between us and the moon but still its just strange.
