Sure Captain, in the name of civility I'll retract my statement.

Allow me to retract a bit

ok... there are two different times that Jones states that the FDNY has a hand in the destruction of WTC7.

I have posted the links. I stand by that.

However, i said that Alex Jones states that they are "in on it." Those were NOT his exact words.

Remember though, he does state :

Silverstein, FDNY Decided to “Pull WTC 7”

And

Update: People Died in WTC 7: This Makes Silverstein and the FDNY Guilty of AT LEAST Manslaughter

Since I am a skeptic and i constantly beg for proof. I try to practice what I preach. Although he does not directly state "in on it" (As Jason Bermas does." He does implicate the FDNY.

That is because Larry Silverstein publicly and quite falsely put the entire blame on the NYFD. People have to confront Larry Silverstein concerning his bald faced lie. Someone corrupt working for NYFD could have been indirectly in on any plotting, but the NYFD and most, if not all employees, had nothing directly or indirectly to do with Silverstein's order to pull Building 7 using controlled demolitions.

people...man we are getting way too evil with each other... Captain I know you are a good person. I know you are intelligent. Lets not get lame with each other. I respect you and your opinion and I hope that everyone else can do the same. The MODS have been watching us closely yet we are still virtually lashing out at each other and its getting worse. I know that I am nobody on here and I am new, but I think that we need to not take comments personally, even though they are harsh at times, and we need to have a progressive conversation.

9-11 is the most emotionally overcharged conversation that we are facing on ATS. I lost a cousin due to 9-11 and I am at a loss for what happened that day. It kills me every day to see us sit here and talk crap to each other and have no respect for each other as people. We all have opinions and we are NOT ALL right....let be progressive....lets find answers, use science, and logic.

Sorry for the rant people, I too am emotional about the whole thing. Its all about respecting eachother as long as we are being smart about things.

Jeff,

I am civil. I like to be a tad sarcastic at times. Life is too short to be so serious all the time.

911 was a serious event that changed the world we live in. Your statement about searching for the truth is great...if it is indeed honest. I present the facts as I learn them. Most ignore them as I post them.

Since you are so persistant in your pettiness, does it also mean that the NYPD is actually the PDNY instead?

captain I totally think its great to get in a conversation with you...we can disagree but still respect each others points of view.....

Its crazy that we are all getting personal, not saying that you are. You are an advocate for truth and I have nothing but respect for that!

i think its great that you bring us down to earth at times and I think that it EXTREMELY valuable to have that on this site. if not I would probably believe the hologram theory at this point....i thank you for that

No, its the NYPD. For someone that posts so much about 911, I would hope you would know these little things about the hero's that died on that day.

what is your point man...its like you should just say "touche" and move on. You can fight the Captain all night, but its not proving anything...yeah I would be pissed too if he did that but we are so far from the thread that I am writing this........

Jeff,

All I ask is that people keep asking questions...and get the answers. Don't ignore them...

Serisously man! We get so wrapped up in this crap that we go over the deep end. I thank you for your sturdy logic. I am by no means an easily influenced person, but I lose track of logic at times (which is sad coming from a philosophy grad). I think that emotions prevail over logic and we need to get grounded. I fly off the handle easily because 9-11 caused pain not only in my family, but in the whole nation. We do however need to question the media....they totally lost track of their job and started following what they were told to do....

If ANYTHING we have to take a step back and say "what happened that day and why?" We have not done that as a united country.

Yeah holograms....i dont know....I am willing to believe anything at times.

I see. So it is NYPD but FDNY according to you. Thank you for the levity. It has been most entertaining.

Particularly, when those actually having lost loved ones are making every attempt to learn the truth. I have full intention of doing everything I can to help them find it.

Ahh, the comedian skeptic returns. Captain the only reason I challenged you is you always seem to bring the lunatic fringe into the debate in a condescending way to slap the "truthers" with it.

Being a fence sitter this delivery of yours seems bent on belittling those who disagree with your view of 911. I respect your position, please respect those looking for "the answers".

Orion, if you can't even admit that you are wrong that it's the FDNY then really you make any other argument of yours void. This type of stubborness, epcecially on such mundane details, really just discredits anything you say.

And CO, when did it talk about smoke in there? I mostly remember them talking a lot about: how long it took to get any sort of response from air fighters; chaney, bush, and crew lieing about what they knew and when that day; blocking of investigation into terrorists in the country pre-9/11; etc.

Facts like that. Stuff that's out there, been released, reported by the media. Are we discussing a different video?

thats what I was wondering. I am failing to see the CT stuff that devalues this video. I think this video is great in the way that it shows the difficulties that they faced in regards to the investigation.

When people are making caustic remarks about the Truth Movement, inclusive of those who did and did not lose loved ones on 9/11, they are denigrating the very people appearing in the video, justifiably demanding the truth and a new official independent investigation of 9/11. They started the Truth Movement, when so few were willing to logically discern, that the Bush administration could possibly be responsible, for the senseless criminal deaths of thousands of people residing in the US on 9/11/2001.

www.911pressfortruth.com...

If all this forum, to some people, is a game of "I gotta win at any cost," aren't there more suitable forums to play those personal ego games?

FYI, forensic investigation can lead to all types of "what ifs" (hypothesis), some or many as seemingly as far out as the quantum theoretical fourth dimension. Yet, in many cases, the most obscure, improbable clue or abstract concept can be the one bringing all those other clues into logical focus. Many problems and cases are not solved by what seems initially obvious, but by objective consideration of what is not initially obvious.
