Oh come on Princeofpeace, the US themselves have plans for what to do if "Aliens" invade earth... it's not like they actually expect it to happen.

I myself have information on how nuclear warheads are detonated, the types of uranium that can be used, and pretty much everything I could ever need to build one... does it mean I'm going to build one? No, of course not... it just means I took the time to read into it.

In my opinion this does make perfect sense. Iran has maintained all along that they will pursue enriched uranium for the purpose of generating nuclear power. This article is really written to allow you make your own choice as to what you wish to believe.

Iran maintains it was given the papers without asking for them during its black market purchases of nuclear equipment decades ago that now serve as the backbone of its program to enrich uranium - a process that can generate power or create the fissile core of nuclear warheads.

Clearly the article states that these documents are the back bone of the Iranian program and that enriched uranium in this case can be used for BOTH nuclear power or weapons. So can anyone explain to me what this really proves?

Answer: Nothing. Iran's claim is not proven incorrect and the US claim is not proven incorrect. That being said neither one is correct either. It proves nothing expect that Iran took years to hand over the documents and it proves how secretive Iran has been about their program. I consider it common sense to expect Iran to keep most details of their projects a secret, every government does. I certainly do not see the US running over to China and saying, "Hey look what we got and how we did it!". That whole notion all by itself is ridiculous and I do not understand why Iran is wrong for doing exactly what every government has always done. In my opinion what it really boils down to is no governments want to allow an Arab nation to be on a level playing field. If they had the same weapons as the "major forces" of the world then they would have to negotiate and actually listen and care about their ideas and opinions. If they were unable to compete at the same level, what they think doesn't matter and they are forced to be submissive by fear.

Now feel free to tell me how Iran wants to "wipe Israel off the map" and spew all the typical propaganda that I can hear from watching Fox News. I can already tell you that is not what Ahmadineja said and the translation was wrong. Feel free to google "Wipe Israel off the map hoax" and search for own sources. I found a very reliable source through a University Translator quite some time ago. Now if you search for it you will get 13,300 hits and I really do not care to search for it to prove it. If you are truly interested in finding the truth and NOT simply repeating what you have been TOLD, you will research it yourself. I have already given you a start.

Ok, this is sad. But the thing that i think is almost comical, is that The united states has nukes, the russians have nukes, pakistan has nukes. North korea has nukes. Iran probly wants nukes just to be safe from all of the counties that already have nukes. I mean come on, if you had a bow and arrow and there were people pointing guns at you wouldnt you want a gun too just so you could defend yourself if the other people with guns decided to use them?

I mean come on people, yea Iran talks about how they hate israel and what not, but im sure they know that if they were to nuke israel the whole world would descend upon them and theyre whole beautifull country would be wiped off the map. I dont think that is in there best interests.

Israel did just steal the land of the palestinians, And they wonder why all the countries over there hate them.

The US thinks its so high and mighty, and once it was..now our govt. is turning this country into a bully and i for one am appalled. We shouldnt meddle in affairs in other countries like we do.

Britan kept meddling in our affairs and thats why we fought them and freed ourselves.

And now were meddling with the middle east even as britain meddled with us (not exacly there are obvious differences, but im just making a point) Of course there gonna attack us.

Wake up people.

Why am I NOT suprised by your statement. What does this prove?
The first paragraph of the story should give you a clue.

"Iran has given the UN nuclear agency blueprints showing how to mold uranium metal into the shape of warheads"

If this does not give you a clue then I don't know what will.

Why would Iran hand this stuff over???? All things aside, they have to know how bad it would be for them. How it could be used against them at this delicate hour. Sorry doesn't make sense on the face of it! Even if the whole 'got it by accident' thing is true, why antagonize your enemies. Something smells!

Did you even read his entire post? Can you actually read?
His entire post just explained why it doesn't prove anything, yet you reply to him as if 90% of his post didn't exist -- and quote just the 10% of an article, as if that was all that was said. My god. No offense, but the way in which you debate and make your points -- you come off as extremely ignorant, or just very young.

That is why they dragged their feet on handing it over. They knew it would stir up trouble if they did, but they knew it would stir up trouble if they didn't....

Buggered both ways. I find it amusing that the same people who for weeks have been banging on about Iran "with holding vital documents" are now having a go because "this is proff their building weapons".

It isn't at all.

Like I said earlier, this is old documentation they got off that Khan fellow which they were using to build up their nuclear expertise.

When the IAEA saw the documents two years ago, they asked the Iranians to hand them over. They have been stalling, because they knew it would cause exactly the kind of crap we're seeing from certain members here.

But, lets not listen to the IAEA, who were right about Iraq, but listen to the Good Ol' US of A, who, we now know, lied through their arse's about Iraq.

You can find out how exactly to build a nuke on the wikipedia. This is pure and simple warmongering.

If I were in their shoes, I still wouldn't have handed them over. If I were to be buggered either way I'd keep my documents to myself. Makes no sense to me, unless they want to be bombed. Or, this is a set up.

It's quite a normal technique when debating or discussing items.

I don;t think you trolling and generally being childish is helping yours. Why not try to debate the point, rather than attack the poster. That sort of thing is, after all, against the T&C's.

Yeah, in your biased and wrong opinion. Geesh!!

Unfortunately you only read what you want to see.

Apparently you don't know the definition of troll regarding forums. Stating one's opinion is not trolling. You just don't like what I have to say.

Umm....I was debating and I did not attack the poster. Sorry, but I guess you did not read the posts that were attacking me.

Iranians have documents to build N. Weapons, wow, Big deal !! I'm impressed guys really *Clap Clap.
It's not that i support Iran in this story but guys, ... give me a break.

Ok this might represent (out of 100) 1% of evidence; I'm really impressed buddies. How much are these agents paid per month again?

Looks like an Iraq scenario: " the WMD, the WMD they've got WMD" / "the Documents, The Documents"... ring a bell ?

Give me satellite imagery proof (the real deal not the fakes as for Iraq / sup Powell, where you at? ) or SOMETHING tangible otherwise work on the diplomatic part, yes you : Georgy and the gang.
And for Christ Sake, call Jack Baueur for this task otherwise Ms "WW the 3rd" will knock at the door !

Who interprets what the blueprints are for? Looks like we do. And we got an itchy trigger finger to go to another war.

It's all part of a design from the power elites to destroy this country. The war with Iran has America as it's target. They want us to spread ourselves thin, they want to debauch our currency, put us into debt, drive up oil prices, and ruin the dollar.

Once America falls, the rest of the world will be easy to get to fall in line.

The goal is to destroy the current order so that they can rebuild it in the image they desire.

The US has been the independent, strong, just, and enterprising thorn in the power elites side for nearly 200 years.

I quote:

"If that mischievous financial policy which had its origin in the North American Republic [Constitutionally authorized debt-free money] should become indurated down to a fixture, then that government will furnish its own money without cost. It will pay off its debts and be without a debt to the International Bankers. It will have all the money necessary to carry on its commerce. It will become prosperous beyond precedent in the history of the civilized governments of the world. The brains and wealth of all countries will go to North America. That government must be destroyed or it will destroy every monarchy on the globe!" - Times of London newspaper, 1865

This country has been hated by people who have grown comfortable lording over people and nations like kings. The monarchies and international bankers want this land humiliated and destroyed, to teach us a lesson. Then they will hold their hand out to the desperate, impoverished masses promising salvation, so long as we place the shackles of their new world order around our necks.

To them we are chattel.

Understanding their plans makes current events and politics become predictable and clear.

Otherwise, you just say "why are they doing that? are they stupid?"

Stupid? Not at all. It's by design, and we've been fooled into believing they're doing all they're doing FOR us, but just don't have the smarts to pull it off the right way. WRONG.

This will be my last response to you, after this post I will happily click my ignore button.

You sir are a troll. Your whole purpose for being here is to argue over pointless issues and derail threads. That is all you do and your posting history proves it. You are the type of member ATS does not need in my opinion and I will stand at my computer and applaude the day you finally get banned, and there is no doubt in my mind it will happen one day.

No I am not "talking to myself and answering my own questions". I am talking to whomever reads this thread. That is how a forum like this works. True to form, you chose what you want from a post ...a point to argue... without acknowledging the point of the actual post. You argue things out of context from what the original posting is even all about. You miss the point and find points to argue. You sir, are much like watching Fox News. So please do us all in this thread a favor, find another thread to take off topic and derail. Your job here is obviously done since we are all discussing you and your moronic ways rather than the issue at hand.

I would like to ask the MODS to please look at this posters history and deal with him accordingly. This is a pattern. ATS has a history off adding to their forums and continuely making them better. People like this poster do nothing for ATS, its forums, or any topic of discussion.

4thDoctorWhoFan: Meet my ignore button and have a pleasant evening. I know mine just got better.

You should be because it solidifies that Iran was lying about their entire program. Hmm....what else are they lying about?

How much are these agents paid per month again?

Please provide a link that this was agents.
Are you saying that someone from the Iranian government is a agent and that this agent turned over the documents?

Looks like an Iraq scenario: " the WMD, the WMD they've got WMD" / "the Documents, The Documents"... ring a bell ?

I'm sure if the situation was reversed and the same people turned over documents saying the U.S. was torturing prisoners, you would be screaming about how bad the U.S. treats its prisoners.
