He knows certainly well what he was saying and how it would come across. Passive aggressive for sure. Caught me off gaurd too. I read his whole post and he seemed detached and cool headed and then stuck it to me when I wasn't looking... probably while smiling. Cool dude.

P.S. I apologize that I had to lose my temper like that.

Please accept my appologies...

I read this post right after reading a post by jakyll, titled "Forgotten Abominations Of The Bible". Both struck a similar chord and I guess my response was refering the context in both to the point where the line between what was relevent here and there is blurry...

Again, sorry for the confusion and never did I intend to disrespect.

I'm going to edit my post to make it right.

Thank you. I was surprised as for some reason ATS struck me as a kind of place where I wouldn't see much of that. But, I'm new here. I've been in pleny of flame wars in my distant Internet past, but wasn't really looking for one here.

I'll edit also.

Conclusion: The Aliens Are Not Our Friends

This is a very stereotypical comment which puts ALL aliens into the one basket. The universe is ABUNDENT with life, and like Earth, is full of beings both of the Light and Dark energies, IHMO.

It's all opinion and that's fine. But until there is proof then I'm open minded the whole way. Just don't say that aliens are not our friends unless you have proof that they are what you say. They could be demons, angels, gods, reptilians, greys, etc.. But they could be our friends.

Christians don't use theologies (diety) and they certainly don't wait on anything unseen to straighten their paths. That's not what the faith is all about. Christians are always on the march.

There's this person who is certain he's a hybrid but nothing more beyond that. Family members say this person just might be one. For now, this person claims no feelings of loyalty to the aliens. In fact, this person isn't sure if they are friends or foes.

This person says, if these aliens do turn out to be hostile, and if they are similar, there's two very simple ways to seriously slow them down when the time comes. That is, if this person's thinking doesn't change.

"There is no apparent role ," this person says.

I believe this universe is full if sentient species and the full spectrum of intelligence, from dim to transcendent.

It comes down to general grasp of awareness of a species to define it's place. We have not, as a species even seriously considered other intelligence in our universe and therefore are not now within a sufficient awareness to make any advance in our evolution. A sudden event might need to transpire to have any perspective.

Unfortunately many such events that would reveal truth of other species has been kept from us by those of our own species that think we are incapable of adjusting to such a concept, and fancy themselves somehow our keepers.

Some of the concepts we have about another species have been poisoned by modulated media, produced by people simply doing what they are paid to do and how they are instructed by someone who was instructed by someone who works under a person who has very limited but semi-direct contact with another person who is paid to do exactly what they are told to do by a secret source who pays the bills.

The negative image of aliens are as inaccurate as the concepts of the benevolent ones. At least to the general media addicted and influenced people.

Many species and most others are likely advanced well beyond us, and in ways we do not understand yet.

We have some very unique capabilities we have not realized yet. We are smarter and more creative than we yet know, because we have never put it to a serious test. We are blissfully ignorant, still laughing at pedantic concepts of Martians and little green people. Yet many of us have had contact, and know how different these visiting species can be. We need to work on our greater awareness as a species ourselves.

We are not sufficiently intelligent enough to understand an "agenda" of even our selves let alone an advanced or alternate dimensional species.

I think our best policy is not to judge anything, keep our eyes, ears, minds open. Including our interpretations of what we see or even imagine we see.

The types of awareness people are subjected to in the presence of all of these species is so beyond our experience, that in most cases, we feel paralyzing fear. The fear is translated into ideas like this threads premise that they mean us harm or would take our lives or resources. Really we should be more afraid of ourselves, our ignorance, ego, self importance and folly of our cradles distruction.

I would not be to quick to advance any ideas until we can advance our understanding first.

Hitler did not consider himself a Christian. Watch the Discovery Channel sometime. He was a believer in Norse mythology and was trying to re-establish the Viking legacy. He used Christianity.

Moreover, the crusades, the Inquisition, the Salem witch trials et al were not about spreading religion, it was about securing the trade routes, and robbing wealthy property owners.

Perhaps, religion was used as an excuse, but make no mistake there were financial motivations--either to rob the Templars of their vast wealth, or New England landowners of their property. If it hadn't been religion, it would have been politics, gender, race, etc.

Greed has caused every major conflict in the history of the world and those who like to label it about religion or politics are playing into the hands of the robber barons who want you to believe it so they can keep on keeping on.
