Countries need militaries at the most basic level to protect themselves.

Protect themselves from WHO? If no countries had any armys, then who would they need to protect themselves from?

Ordinary people who WANT to be governed, give each country the opportunity to build an army, as they blindly support the egotistical whims of elected officials, who are only pawns for the money lenders anyway. EVERY country with a military is as bad as each other. There is no right, they are ALL wrong.

If you think that we need a military, particularly one that has offensive capabilities and is currently engaged in the immoral invasion of two other countries, then you're supporting a violent culture and an evil government that pays its citizens to murder others.

I notice last night that Rudd spoke about how we will continue our very close relationship with our most bestest, bum-chummiest ally, the good ol' USA. Sickening. Pull the troops out now, disband the armed forces and set an example for the rest of the world to follow.

I saw Megadeth the other week live in concert and they sung a song written by them over 20 years ago called "Peace Sells, But Who's Buying?". Think about it.

I understand what you are getting but it can't work. Every government won't disband their militaries. It simply won't happen. I'm not sure how much more wrong you can be. All it takes is for one country not to do it and then they can take over everyone else. As I said in my last post, if it wasn't for the military, Germany and Japan would of taken over in WWII. Would you prefer that?
