Bill Clinton was at a fund rasier for his wife...and was confronted by a pack of truthers.

wcco.com...

Good ol' Billy boy let them have it.

Clinton's 50-minute speech, which started about an hour behind schedule, was derailed briefly by several hecklers in the audience who shouted that the 2001 terrorist attacks were a fraud. Rather than ignoring them, Clinton seemed to relish a direct confrontation.

"A fraud? No, it wasn't a fraud," Clinton said, as the crowd cheered him on. "I'll be glad to talk to you if you shut up and let me talk."

When another heckler shouted that the attacks were an "inside job," Clinton took even greater umbrage.

"An inside job? How dare you. How dare you. It was not an inside job," Clinton said. "You guys have got to be careful, you're going to give Minnesota a bad reputation."

This is typical behavior of the so called truthers that do things like this. Instead of discussing things like humans, they scream out robotic rants. It is further proven during the Geraldo show, Bill Mahr show, and other political press conferences.

I have looked on Youtube for a video, I do not see one to date.

Edit: Live leak has some of it:

Not cool. Not Friggin Cool. If your going to go after anybody how about someone who is actually negatively affecting the war, and lying to the people! George Bush maybe?!?!

Bill Clinton had little to do with 9/11. He tried to get Osama Bin Laden but was pushed out of the white house because of his affair (which was bs in my opinion). Now the person who neglectfully allowed 9/11 and used it against the American people should be confronted. But I don't think these people have the gull for that.

Bill Clinton also revived our economy. He is raising billions of dollars for the entire world's benefit. Leave him alone, he knows 9/11 was an inside job.

Huh? Are you not watching the same clips we are? Bill Clinton knows it was an inside job yet totally slams those saying so? Exactly what kind of logic is that. Bill Clinton was not forced out of the White House, he served his two terms.

Little to do with 9/11? He didn't try very hard to get Bin Laden, Sudan basically offered him up and we said no. Nice revisionist history there.

Honestly, you look desperate when you guys talk like this.

It's not obvious that Bill Clinton knows 9/11 was an inside job from the comments he made. I somehow doubt Bill has been gotten to either though(and I'm no fan of his). You need to be careful who you ascribe certain opinions to, without having the evidence to support the assertions.

I'm just wondering which comments they are refering to? You can't just say "It's obvious from the comments...". Which comment(s) was it?

It's almost as if this "tactic" has been fashioned specifically to make "9/11 Conspiracy Theorists" look bad... and through association, anyone who believes in any 9/11-related conspiracy would be discredited.

About three years ago when the "Truth Movement" began building steam and became a popular subject here, I was initially suspicious of the marriage between radical activism and conspiracy theory... I think my suspicions have been proven correct -- it's not good.

Had it been any different?

They just love to get attention.

But wasn't he the same guy that pointed his finger at the camera & told all of us, "I did not have sex with that woman!"?

I said that it wasn't obvious that he believed it was an inside job. I'm not sure how Blowfishd came to his/her conclusion.

Are you serious?????? Nothing to do with 9/11? Tried to get Bin Laden??? Pushed out of White House because of affair? I hope your not from the US, because if you are.....people who don;t know their histroy are doomed to repeat it!!!! 9/11 is all about terror attacks, how many occured on his watch? He was offered Bin Laden on numerous occassions and did not act. He served 2 terms, thats why he left the White House. Geez.....thats basic stuff!

You guys are very good at ranting against people but when do you ever give credit where it's do?

Just watch this if you already haven't:
video.google.com...

In addition in my personal rant I did make the mistake of mentioning he didn't serve his whole term. He did your right. What I meant is that his affair really made him reestablish his goals.

Howeve rmy point being he wasn't the president during the 9/11 attacks, and he didn't start the giant war we are going to have to live with for years to come. In fact, he wants to stop war and its probably the reason you say "he didn't want to go after Osama".

As far as the truth movement, no matter what Clinton knows or thinks about 9/11 he's not the power to go after! He is a former president, not the president who is screwing us all. I just think we're going after the wrong person here. The only thing he's doing with his life is trying to save the world.

What is the point you are trying to make? I am not a big Clinton fan when it comes to foreign policy. I have a hard time following your train of thought.

Notice how this forum calms down after they watch the vid of clinton bashing down fox news saying on their on station that they are a right-wing initiative. Whoops!

Hate mongers.

Your link isn't working.

Do you think we haven't researched here and that you have done more? "Watch this video, it will change your mind" I have heard all too many times. Just can't wait to see it. Yes I do watch them.

You are missing the main point we are making. Clinton was in office as A.Q. grew in power in Afghanistan and he basically did little in the way of thwarting him. Many of the 9/11 hijackers were already in the US prior to the Bush Admin taking over. To say Clinton has little to do with all of this is entirely wrong. When Sudan offered Bin Laden up, most of all that has transpired could have been prevented if we just took them up on the offer. Sorry you don't see it that way.

What's with the hate monger comment? Should we not hate OBL? I don't hate you or the 9/11 truthers, you don't bother me enough to even dislike you that much. I do dislike people who spout innaccurate statements as Gospel truth though and are convinced they are right and the rest of the world is either stupid or wrong.

*edit link works now didn't work for me at first gave error.

Pavil thanks for the reply but the link IS working. The video isn't to change your mind. It is to show you that president Clinton isn't the person to go after, he isn't in power, even if he knew what 9/11 was all about he couldn't announce it OR change the situation, or do anything. So just watch the vid it is an interview on Fox news with Clinton where he talks about Bin Laden during his presidency.

What's with the hate monger comment?

Basically i believe we are attacking the wrong person for change is all. You can stalk bill clinton all you'd like, capture his dog and hold it for ransom but he can't do anything. He's not in office, and it's too late for him. The poor guy is getting old and just wants to make the world a better place. Are people going to do this to him until he's dead? Shame.. Go after someone in power if you want change. Screaming through a microphone at any ex president won't get the job done.

I was a Clinton fan at one point, a Bush fan as well. But I came to realize that the two parties are a sham and that the individuals within them cooperate to forward their agenda. All the politics and disagreements are just a big show.

I suggest that you watch the Clinton Chronicles
Google Video

I'm an equal oppourtunity basher. Clinton didn't do enough. Bush didn't do enough. Both deserve blame. Clinton doesn't get a free pass since he is out of the Oval Office.

Well actually he does get a free pass now...

No matter how badly he screwed up when he was in office (which I dont think he did that horrible of a job) he doesnt' have any power anymore. So scream at him all you will it wont change a thing in the system.

No offense, brother, but you really need to do some research and build yourself a foundation of knowledge before you jump into a debate. Your first post had several inaccuracies as the other poster pointed out and this one does as well. Hopping into a debate with nothing except for strong feelings on the subject is like sitting in a foxhole with a squirt gun and some water balloons.

The fact is that several things happened during his Presidency that led up to the situation we have now. I'm not saying it was entirely his fault, but it's not entirely the current Administration's fault either.

I respectfully disagree. He doesnt' get absolved for his actions or inaction simply because he is not in office. Back on topic. This is more about 9/11 truthers tactics, not policy errors of our leaders.
