One of the downsides of socializing in an environment that promotes paranoia is suffering from paranoia in the real life.

Including seeing faces in windows curtains.

Another downside is terminal indifference and skepticism.

I know which I prefer !

I looks to me to be just an optical illusion...just like seeing shapes in clouds.

If a paranormal being wanted to make his presence known, why would he bother doing it with curtains and shadows. And why would it look like a face? A supposed being who is powerful enough to manipulate the physical world (i.e. curtains) would probably not have a face.

Haha, the 2nd person to pick up on the cigarettes. I'm proud to say that I don't smoke, and that those are my mother's. Oh, and the moo cup is hers too, she collects cows... the house is literally a beef lover's paradise.

Tkain: No, no one has passed on recently.

Youthmind: I stayed in the room about 10 seconds before coming down the other end of the house to the PC to check the photos out. When i did go back out to the room the face was in, it was gone.

Badwolf: Haha. I'm allergic to bees so that'd send me into a bit of a panic. We have wasps nesting in our wind chimes and that is bad enough.

I, too thought that it must be an optical illusion as [as others have similarly said] if anything looks slightly like a face-shape, body part, etc it can appear more so as the brain begins to process the image we are looking at. Sometimes, the more we stare at something, with the idea forming in the mind that all is not right, the more it will take on the image with which you are already worrying it might be.
But I find the fact that when you went back to the room, it was gone very creepy, indeed.

Dude give me the name if the fabric on the curtain, Kinf od shrub and wat kind of glass, ill see if i can Put 2 & 2 together and i can draw out the face i think for an expression. Then form there i think i can and will be able to determine if its a real ghost, Shadow Person, Or just Fixtures of light. im voting on the second. If u dont know wat kind of things they are just say so i stills hould be able 2 work with them.

Looks like to me you might have a real live peeper and the lace curtains are making him look ghostly.

I was just showing the picture to one of my mother's friends, who is into the whole mediums-talking-to-the-dead thing and she insists it is a message from someone passed on, but i didn't expect her to say any different.

I still think it was a one in a million coincidence and i'm glad i caught it on camera

I believe in ghosts, spirits, whatever

I'm not saying this was a ghost, but boy did I jump

It was 2:00 am, I'm alone in the dark, reading a ghost picture site ! Its three days after christmas, all the decorations are still up

the first thing that happens is an x-mas card falls off the front door. spooky !

a minute later a balloon pops !

I get the willys and stand up

then my sons toy starts playing music !

I got so spooked, I ran upstairs and jumped in bed with my wife, and we had a good laugh about it

I know what u mean.

I scare myself into panic sometimes like that as well. Like one night i was reading a ghost website at like 1 in the morning and the way the house creaks made it sound like someone walked past the door behind me and rats in the roof made scuttling sounds etc etc.

Your mind takes all these things and puts them into a worst case scenario haha.

Oh hum!

My first impression when I first saw the image was that this was a solid case impressionism.
A classic case of the ancient chinese poverb ~
I first saw the mountains in the painting then saw the painting in the mountains
This is not photoshop nor is it pasted.
Spooky.... maybe, but nothing more or less than our mental perception formulating a logical image.

~~~~~~~~~~ It's Curtains for the face near the window ~~~~~~~~~~
