If this actually is all part of a promotion, then it sure seems like an awful lot of wasted work on something that is off-target. Getting all the photos together? Generating the stuff for the Issac CARET site? And then "spilling the beans" months after the initial interest in the stuff has died off? I mean, there's subtlety, then there's obscurity. Spending that money to get a better Google Ad placement would probably be a better investment in time and money.

Yeah, comparing the Alienware ad with the old CARET stuff to see if it has been modifed might be an idea. Just to see if maybe the Alienware artists just borrowed a few cool graphics ideas from Issac.

Either way, it's interesting how it all quickly ran out of steam. No more new information (except this, maybe). Oh, well.

Viral, totally viral. Oh, the "meme" folks are going to hate this, but I'd never gloat and say "I told you so."

You couldn't be more mistaken. The meme thread posited 'viral' as a premise to a meme all along. The "meme folks", this one at least, LOVE this thread - we don't hate it at all. We don't hate anything related to this (except perhaps self-righteous, presumptuous, or condescending attitudes).

Actually - this thread is directly and specifically right on target. Thanks for posting (and validating). It is entirely appropriate and complementary.

Good job.

Oh don't get your panties in a bunch Outrageo. The Meme thread was really interesting but I thought the hoax was much simpler than the elaborations being considered on that thread. And it's ridiculous that you try to show you're not angered by giving me the thumbs up and at the same time put me on your enemies list. How petty. I had no idea how personally invested you were in this. Anyway, thanks for your thoughts.

Edit: I see I'm now OFF your enemy list--ah, don't make a liar out of me!

Who knows maybe Alienware wanted to do a puzzle contest, and one of the people on the team comeing up with the idea for an alien looking writing is into ufo's (who knows, maybe their a member of ATS) and knew about the Chad drones and the writing and thought.....

"HEY, why don't we just use these symbols?"

They're free, really cool and "Alien" looking, get it- Alienware.

Showed some copies of the print and the primer Designs to his boss, or whoever was in charge of the contest project, and they said ok lets go with that.

Done.

In my opinion Alienware has nothing to do with the Drones, or Chad, or Isaac, or any of the CARET stuff. They're just useing it because it was there, and it looks very "Alien" (which goes with their companies name).

I really think thats about it.

There's still a mystery here, that needs to be solved, and I'm sure the cryptogram Alienware set up, when decoded, does not actually break the "real" meaning of the Drones symbology, and the other styff that Isaac provided.

So case still open, imo. Wasn't LMH or whatever her name initials are, supposed to get some more info on this a while back? An interview with Isaac or something?Wasn't she in contact with Chad or something? Whatever happen to all that? It's like been swept under the rug by her, and C2C has pretty much dropped it as well it seems( though i don't visit that site very often, I'm not a big fan *shrug*)so maybe they haven't. To me though,LMH dropping this whole story as far as I can tell(not producing witnesses when we were lead to believe key witnesses were in contact with her), now that seems a bit odd

EDIT** to my EDIT**

well after reading the whole realityuncovered stuff. Unfortunately they had nothing new on the Drones (I jumped the gun when I thought I misinterpreted something I read), that I didn't already know and actually they were misinformed about the video (not knowing it was an experiment done by SF, and not meant to be actually footage). The sight seems to do a great job debunking the Serpo case. Piece by piece, but thats old news.

Great sight though if you wanna know about the Serpo hoax, or Meme stuff. But not my cup of coffee.(don't drink tea).

NOT PROOF OF ANYTHING BUT OUR GULLIBILITY

Your just proving how much sheeple consumers we are.

I can't believe what asses these marketing people are. I think marketing consciousness has done more damage to our culture than anything. I try not to hate, but this really gets me hot.

I am working on an Alienware MJ12 Laptop and these guys have become more evil since Dell bought them up. I plan to contact them and rant in their faces.

I don't think they did any hoaxing though. I have been in graphics since the late 70's and have many friends that build fonts and dingbats from all kinds of things. I have dingbats of corporate logos, graphical symbols including crop circles. Any sufficiently skilled graphic designer can do this. So where is the proof???

I don't see how this is evidence of ANY involvement of these asses with the actual sighting events. They are not smart enough to do such things in any case. All they did was take the images, had a graphic designer make fonts and graphics from them, (without the permission of the entities) and are prostituting them for their own greedy needs. CREEPS!

I hope the aliens they plagiarized have laws that protect their copyrights and take payment in anal probe credits.

Please do not kill the investigations into this event unless you are in the pocket of dark government groups who routinely do such things to stop us from looking closely. You are doing their work for them. Don't be a DUPE!

This is NOT evidence. It is PLAGERISTIC CONSUMERISM.

Am I the only person who thinks these sort of things need to be banned?!

I take this stuff seriously, it infuriates me that people think nothing of how much trouble this causes the UFO community and think they can just use it for advertising.

I feel the same way about that Australian UFO wave that happened a while back; that angered me greatly. The fact they could just go "hey lets make a little experiment blah blah blah" without even thinking about how it makes us in the UFO community look like idiots.

There needs to be a worldwide ban on organized hoaxing, but of course the world's governments doesn't take UFOlogy seriously so they don't care.

HEAR HEAR!

I completely agree. Hoaxing is public lying. Not just to one person, but to all. And for what? To get our attention, get a reaction for a emotionally desperate person to feel better by taking advantage of another? Hoaxes are largely sociopathic behavior. It should at least be banned by society if not a rule. We don't need any more laws, just more ethical awareness.

I'm for banning this unless more actual evidence is produced. It does so much damage to the ethic of this discussion site. I about filed a suit when I found the Haiti crap was faked. Bad for all. Especially here.

Bless ATS!

Do the CARET reports say anything when translated? How bout we get a key for all the letters on their respective symbol. If the CARET Reports or Drone photos say something relating to Alienware or Area 51, Then we know Alienware is behind the whole thing. If they are simply jibberish when translated then we can have some proof Alienware stole the idea.

Unfortunately, there is a growing interest in this sort of new "gameing" ARG's, "Viral Marketing" ect ect, it's all crap, and they use forums like ATS as thier playing field.

These people are rather pathetic imo. Buy a copy of world of Warcraft if you wanna game online. Or Starcraft2 when it comes out.

Luckily we have great Mods here who are pretty keen at nailing hoaxers(they have plenty of confirmed notches in the hilt), and have done a good job clearing the trash and most importantly leaving stuff that still deserves futher investigation. Like the big Chad/Drone thread.

This is basically one of the main reason I stayed here at ATS.

But I understand the frustration of the hoaxing getting in the way of what we're trying to figure out.

There was a guy, forget his name, he posted that he had figured it out. He gave a link to another forum.

The thread he made was pretty outrageous. I really think he belived he figured it out, but he showed no proof, he just went on and on about anti-gravity, and other technical stuff about particles, and cloaking ect.

He never really explained how he came to his conclusions, like this symbol here means X, and this means Y ect.

But his conclusion was that it had to do with parrallel(sp?) universes. Alot of the people on the forum he posted this on thought his was a bit off if you know what I mean.

But other than that one guy a couple months ago, I don't know of anyone who has claimed to crack the code. I'm not sure if anyone is really trying.

Actually , I thin Sys_Config and pjslug were working on some of it and what it could be in the 180+ page thread....

This one-

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Dunno if any progress is being made.

Denials and cover-ups will prove futile only when each and every person can hold the evidence in their hands. Seek out the Area-51 X15X and Area-51 X1XX.

They have a game called Area-51. That might be it, but I couldn't find the product code for the games.

Edit: Area-51 is an old game, that's not it.

I think on the 29th they will announce new models and the numbers will fit then. Right now the unknown characters are numbers that models don't fit. It's a way of getting click-backs and lurking people. Cheap.

The game was crapola. FPS and badly done.

Good work on the decipher though. I sent some comments to them. Will likely not ever be answered. My MJ12 is out of warranty, so they cant mess that up if they get insulted.

Didnt someone reply waaay back in the original thread (Guessing it was the original, Hard to keep up these days) That it was a tutorial in Maya, or Lightwave? TO my knowledge no one denounced him or said he was wrong, so....
Maybe its part of a "Sci Fi set for one of the 3d Programs, and Alienware used it as such. Just a guess, but I remember that guys post and didn't recall seeing anyone rebuke him.

If itll help I'll look him up in the Original thread, if someone will get off their keister and translate the CARET from the Original post.

He didn't compare the Alienware campaign to the drone photos, he compared it to the diagrams and pictures released by the Isacc guy. So saying the drones themselves are debunked is a bit of a stretch. Also, I find your avatar terribly disrespectful. Just thought I'd throw that out there.....

You probably think it’s debunked, although again I feel this is nothing more than a company trying to cash in on the material Isaac released.

Regardless of them been the maker or not I have obtained lots of text and there translations. Sorry if this spoiled any fun, but I don't think alienware are behind the caret or drones, I see little reason for them to redraw over the original content Isaac released, you can see they haven't done perfect copies and been abit sloppy in places which makes me think they don't have access to original source of these images.

This has been identified as Latin, and the whole lot can be translated to different meanings.

They've redrawn the primer in flash format.

Also, some more insight stories that they have planned -

Through the 1960s, 70s and 80s, as those coming forward seeking the truth were dismissed as “conspiracy theorists” and discredited, reports of increased extraterrestrial activity flowed from all points on the globe with the number of reports increasing each decade. As aerial phenomena and radar anomalies became more commonplace, unexplained contact took an upswing in intensity. Britain began experiencing a rash of bizarre crop circles and both Europe and America witnessed cattle mutilations of near epidemic proportions. New claims surfaced of proposed trades of both human and animal subjects in exchange for technological advancement. By all appearances, investigations into alien capabilities ran concurrent with their own research into terrestrial physiology.

By early morning on July 8, 1947, rumors were rampant in the areas surrounding Roswell, New Mexico. Local ranch hand Mac Brazel’s amazing claims of a crash involving some type of aircraft and multiple, deformed-looking bodies, as well as the mobilization of the Army’s 509th Division from Roswell Army Airfield, fueled speculation. The 509th quickly distributed a press release stating, “Flying Saucer Captured on Ranch in Roswell Region.” By the next day, as reports came in about strange readings in the days before the crash from American, Canadian and Russian radar stations, the military recanted its previous release and issued the now-infamous “weather balloon research” explanation.

In an apparent effort to prevent the leaks that plagued the Roswell incident, President Truman in 1947 issued an executive order establishing MJ-12, or Majestic-12, a collection of the twelve best scientific and military minds of the day. The group’s sole purpose was the secret investigation of the crash and technologies recovered, as well as any future incidents. Despite a policy of containment, neither the U.S. government nor those of foreign states could stem the tide of eyewitnesses coming forward. The subsequent decade found countless people reporting unexplained sightings and contact. As both the government and scientific communities attempted to dismiss such notions, similarities emerged between these accounts that spanned great physical distances, political borders and cultural differences.

In 1984 the SETI Institute formed to identify possible alien radio transmissions. Despite a similar NASA program being defunded in 1993, both NASA and the Department of Energy are listed as sponsors of SETI projects. This led people to question defunding NASA’s project if NASA funds would continue to support the research. Some wondered if SETI was not searching for signals, but rather has been communicating all along. The concept of “trades” with aliens resurfaced as the U.S. experienced a boom in development in both computer and stealth technology. Aircraft tested in Area-51 showed design advancements far beyond the capabilities of the time. These aircraft contributed significantly to America’s military superiority.

Finally, the payoff from any clandestine arrangement between the governments of the world and any otherworldly visitors is being hinted at though the scientific and engineering communities. Reports are sketchy, and those willing to talk fear saying too much, but an apparent long-rumored alien language and schematic are in the final stages of being decoded. These are said to be an interstellar Rosetta Stone, unlocking a knowledge far beyond our most advanced capabilities. Early successes in deciphering parts of this schematic have resulted in technological marvels that are on the verge of finding their way into the hands of the public.

The one SERIOUS issue I have had from day one with these supposed drone photos is the lack of any video. The first photograph poster claimed he saw this drone on a fairly regular basis over his location, and yet he failed to ever supply any video footage of this craft. In my mind, that meant immediate BS.

I couldn't agree more.
Although its a good find by OP, its not anything near "mystery solved".

The main problem is they don't have new pics or vids to show, which is very suspicious. Anyone can simple copy paste the drone stuff and make a cheap advert out of it. That wouldn't mean debunked.

Now, I have no doubts that the original drone stuff was a hoax, well executed, but we still don't know the creators and their intentions behind this. Perhaps we'll never know, seeing how much time has passed. Its already too late for coming clean and gaining more fame or whatever.

But if the writting is the same and that alienware can "understand" this language as they are making competition in which you have to translate this same writing, i guess there is a conection between the drone and alienware no?
does somebody have been able to translate it here, and then try to know what is write on the drone?

by the way his avatar is very good to my eyes, like it!!!!!

alienware is obviously trying to exploit the minor controversy and publicity associated with the caret drone case. to the folks with short attention spans, it will look like a closed case of viral advertising.

this is good because alienware can freely use these graphics (notice they are not using any of the caret photographs) because they are not copyrighted, and no one claims to own them. they cant be sued for using them, except by either the aliens who own them, or by a graphic artist who is part of a hoax and cant come forward to claim ownership, thus exposing the hoax...

anyone could use the drone instructions for anything they want, since no one owns them, i could use them to promote my website, and many mouthbreathers out there would take that as proof of viral marketing.

this wont discourage intelligent and serious investigations into the phenomena, so no worries there, thank god.

no.

anyone can associate any symbols with other symbols and create an orphan annie decoder ring using them... it proves nothing at all.

they invented their own decoder key with their original promotional message, they could use any symbols they wanted, incliding ones from the drone program instructions for this

they could have used electronic schematic symbols, would that prove that the history of electronic technology was just an elaborate viral campaign? they could have used braille characters, even incorrectly if they liked, its all about the key context....

It would be extremly helpful if someone posted the cypher so that decoding can begin on the drone pictures to see if the writing is english, latin or gibberish...
