HUH? That makes no sense whatsoever.

It's ridiculous to attack a country because they could become nuclear. USA could say: "Hey, France has nuclear weapons, they hate us and want to attack us, we gotta attack first!".

I might have to disagree with you there DJ... the Iranians are not as I understand it, related to the Arabic cultures... their languages and history are totally different.

Iran is going to bite the American administration in the ass. Iraq was one thing, but spewing the same recycled rhetoric about Iran? Cmon Cheney people won't stand for this.

If the US attacks Iran it will be their downfall. They will be spread too thin and they could even be the catalyst to WW3.

I'm still waiting for proof of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

Correct that their languages are different - Iranians mainly speak Farsi, Arabs speak Arabic, however there are still groups of people (Syriacs for example) who speak Aramaic derived languages in Iran, as well as Arabic too.

Well lets see on my fathers side I am Scot and English... descended from soldiers who fought with William the Conqueror and awarded a fiefdom for their service up against Hadrian's wall... so with that background you can add Norman/Frank as well. On my mother's side, Irish of the McDonald clan going back 4 or 500 years.

My late wife could trace her mother's side of the family back 400 years to the Dutch pirates who founded Georgetown Guyana and on her father's side to Chinese business men from Canton another 300 years.

As for that (Iranian background) being taught in 1st grade... I don't think so.
