In fact, IMO, It boggles the mind that this guy is published at all. Perhaps this is the message here. You too can get paid for writing utter nonsense.

Here is a decent example of proper screenplay formatting.

To my eyes, sleeper's attempt looks more like a secondary school kid's assignment.

I'm not meaning to be overly critical, as I have said, I think sleeper brings valid points into discussion, and I agree with him on a lot of things. I just think calling that meandering, poorly written, poorly proof read [if at all] narrative a "screenplay" is faintly laughable.

Why Sleeper?

Some have been (un)fortunate enough to have experiences that concur.
Some feel a resonance of the soul when (their) truth is spoken.
Some know who the information is for.

Some "know" it is truth. Some "know" it is not. Both are correct in their respective realities... it's ok to believe it, it's ok not to. Yet many a panty gets twisted. Odd. Some seem to have a natural discomfort with their own opinion or belief.

This is all talk about Sleeper more than it is about aliens & ufo's.

I agree with the fact that sleeper has every right to post whatever he wants on ATS as long as it in the T&C. It is up to the members to use there commonsense (or lack thereof)to determine the validity of his claims. The ATS point system has some probelms though. And this is one of them. The member that posts a blurry picture he took of a UFO he saw, and is trying to make an actual contribution to the site gets a few pages of replies at best. Sleeper claims he lives with an alien and I believe had sex with one on a pool table? And gets a ton of points, while really contributing nothing more then a bad mork and mindy rehash that belongs in skunkworks. Some of the members who do not exactly know how to think for themselves blindly follow points as a religion on this site. Who ever has more points MUST be right. The way to get points is to make up wild stories... kind of self defeating.

If his thread is moved elsewhere, then I have no objection to mine being moved, but if mine is moved and his is not, then I don't really know what to think. Right now, this topic seems to be more about sleeper than it is about aliens, but that was not my intent. I was hoping that some of his followers would comment about why they believe in sleeper's claims, but few have stepped up so far. Just like with the recent debate that was supposed to be hosted on ATS, I, too, am genuinely interested in the perspectives of the people who have faith in sleeper's claims and believe them to be truthful. I wish more of those people would talk.

Well sex will always make a better show than a blurry picture. But I'm starting to think this is all about points. It keeps coming up. Present something interesting that people like and you'll get more replies. It's just a story that Sleeper actually believes and doesn't care if you do. Can you prove that any of Sleeper's experiences are false and that he's just making it up? If so then let's see your solid proof.

points = validity in some peoples eyes. Who said anything about using ponts to buy something? The points are giving him more ground to stand on to tell these stories. If someone with 10 ATS points told a story like that, it would be in skunkworks. Sleeper is just craving attention, and he gets it here. If he told this story to people on the street he would be put on psych meds. He contributes nothing to the Alien/UFO forum. Can I put a script from ALF up here and substiture in my name and claim in contributing?

be careful you dont become so untrusting that you dont even trust your friends. What is gullible ? what is Fact and proof ?

If you're basing something on proof, your merely only basing it on what you know... or think you know. So the words Fact and Proof are erronous words really. Considering that if someone had said infrared existed years ago, before we had the technology(what we know) to PROVE it, it would be fake... think about what we actually reaaally dont know. Then demand proof, realising that what you base your proof on, you cant even prove.

Yeah, I was thinking that when I read Sleeper's story: "this isn't a screenplay!"

And screenplays aren't just about formatting. For instance, sleeper states what the characters think, and whatnot. Last I checked, there're no 35mm cameras that can capture people's thoughts on film.

And I, too, am baffled by the credence John Leer affords Sleeper (often deferring to him on the facts about aliens).

So you think the op is just pissed because sleeper has more points then him? That's kind of hollow and a litle shallow. He said his peace and he's done with it and you haven't even stated why you fully believe the man. I have many questions, does everyone answer them? no, some people do, some people don't. Maybe it's because they don't like me, it's not there type of post, or they have no answers. I wonder how I can fit in better on this website, I also have as valid information to say, but not everyone listens to me. Some of us on these forums are actually successful individuals with businesses to run who have real friends and who people are jealous of in real life. Just cause someone dont post on this forum everyday and follow it on an hourly basis doesnt make him any less credible than anyone else.

Theres much people that are interested in sleepers topic just because its a good story to read without believing in it.

Then theres also a big group of people trying to debunk his claims while also adding to his popularity.This very topic is adding to his popularity now as we speak without trying to debunk or attack him wich is rare.Besides whats there to debunk?There is no evidence, only a story.

Then theres a small group of people that believe and support him with fanatic intend.

Then theres "us", the people that dont pay any interest to sleepers topic and stay in the background watching topics that actually make sense and posting in them.

I do kinda understand, but why do these posters have to hit below the belt? I would be angry to but it's still bullcrap, bringing baby crap in this thread. What at least happened to being a little skeptical? It's all well and good if a person has been a researcher of something for years, or even sees that some of what that person says fits what they believe and researchered (imho isn't the right thing to do) but in the end they good be wrong. Why do we really want miserable people on our hands because they put there heart into something that might not have been true?

Yes its been like that for 5000+ plus years, since the dawn of civilization therefore, inherently, it must be wrong and we must change it since we've become such supreme and all knowing beings since the industrial revolution.

Yes im playing the jealousy game by trying to smack one back into reality. Go to any real-world social event and tell someone of your ATS "accomplishments" if you think they're so admirable.
