Make us safer. Hmmm. Safe from what? Terrorists? Haven't bothered me yet. Government? They are the only ones who' ve posed a threat to Americans in the last 20 years ( or more!)

Yet another misleading and hyped-up thread. Mostly drama. I do feel this is disturbing news that is indicative of our outrageous and out-of-control government but the way in which it was portrayed was very cataclysmic. Thread titles should be given more well formulated

More and more they are following what seems like a script based upon the conversion of the Weimar Republic into the Third Reich.

I hope US Americans will contact their Senators and voice their outrage about the TSA/DHS plan to further steal your liberties.

Honestly, this latest bit on requiring credentials to travel within your own country stinks to high heaven of the old Soviet system.

Hold on for a minute. Read from the source, not the National Enqu, I mean not from Prison Planet. The TSA proposal says nothing about travel by ship. It's all about travel buy air.

Of course there will be lots of problems with this new system. Increase cost to air carriers, travel agents and so forth. Which will passed on to the customers. With any great plans it's going to take a while to get it working correctly as well. Expect even more flight delays and overbooked flights. The 72 hour rule is going to make it impossible for standby, last minute travelers, change of flights and so forth.

It's all about too much government anyway and I'l against that. Then there is the "redress number". Is this travel number going to be the number of the beast?
