Patriotism is mind control

i felt the need to comment.

i am a patriot. a patriot is someone who loves his country and will do everything in his power to keep his country great...as i see it anyway.

the band boysetsfire started one of their songs with this speach

"who are the real patriots?
who are the real traitors
who will stand up?
who will be the new leaders?
if you love this country
take it back from those that would destroy it
protest is patriotism
PROTEST...IS...PATRIOTISM!!!"

to be a patriot does not mean to go along with everything your government says and does, it means support them when they are right and question them when they are wrong and if and when they refuse to change their course fight back.
