I thought that was pretty straight foward...But I am not religious and the bible ISSS open to interperation.
Literally, I don't think it gets any more S T R A I G H T forward than that as far as the bible goes.
Even if it was wrong in God's eyes, I thought he was a forgiving God and how can a "forgiving God send anyone to HEll for something they have no control?

didnt read all 4 pages of this thread, because i dont have time to, sorry, but i want to add my opinion.

im sorry, but being gay is NOT genetic. these people were either abused as children, or had some other event that prompted them to be pavlovian-like conditioned into misleading themselves into the idea that sex and attraction to your own gender is right. from a natural standpoint, it is not. from a moral standpoint, it is not. from a spiritual standpoint, well you get the picture. this is not something they 'have no control over'. i cannot believe that, its a boldfaced lie. thats like saying murderers dont have any control over their actions.

mind you i dont hate these people, i dont personally care what they do, i just completely and totally disagree with their actions when brought into public, to the point of disgust. i dont bother gays, i dont care what they do, as long as they keep it private. i dont want to know what theyre doing behind closed doors, and as such it should be kept, BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. once you bring it out into the open, its no longer private, bottom line, and as such they cannot expect people to not take notice. thinking people will not take notice if you are blatantly public is a completely naieve and selfish action.

He is forgiving but, you can't expect him to forgive you when you willing did something your entire life and never tried to change. Being gay is a decision that is made in your mind and nothing else because if it was genetic then identical twins would both be gay 100% of the time which is not the case.

well using your logic, whos to say hitler was wrong? he really believed the jews were the source of germany's problems. i guess that makes him a good guy too.

Mabe its genetical. Mabe someone had tappered with the DNA which has caused homosexuality. Since the anglo saxon men from britian are rulers of the world, they are also most likely to be homosexual, this comes to show that they might have hybrid bloodline, alien DNA. It might not work with mixed human DNA that good.

So bloodline of GOD works correctly, but the alien DNA causes homosexuality.

i see no reason to bring completely unfounded theories of alien hybrids, let alone even alien EXISTANCE, into this discussion. theres no way to argue that point either way, so its really just moot.

and where in gods name do you get the idea that anglo-saxon brits are most likely to be gay? either show me some kind of evidence to support this claim, or stop posting made up information.

But now the poor bastard deserves to be in hell with murderers rapists tyrants...ect for all eternity or, is there a class system there? Does God run it or does Satan?
If satan runs it does god know about everything that happens to this poor gay man "down there", or is he a discarded soul cast away by his loving and forgiving God?

if im not mistaken there are 'levels' to hell, which correspond to how evil you were during life, along with appropriate punishment.

oh wait... maybe it didnt. look, i have a bible in my hands right here, and it mentions nothing of man being the sole intelligent creation. actually, it only speaks of the creation of the earth and the creatures on it. it doesnt say anything about what god did with and made on the other planets.

Like I have said many times before I do not know who will go to hell because I am not god. However, you cannot know jesus if you live in sin and if being homosexual is a sin like my personal interpretation of bible says it is, then you cannot go to heaven.

I don't think homosexual-like genes are inherited, friend. It's what develops that counts.

If you rely on truth so much from the Bible, author, then why don't you read it and find information on your question. If you ask a question as you did here, there's no telling what kind of answers you'll get.

Maybe god doesn't care what you are, or how you carry yourself, or how you developed. Hey, maybe god doesn't even care of a person was catholic. Do you think homosexuals deserve eternal punishment?

How can a person compare homosexuals to Adolf Hitler and Osama...meaning how can you say they are so alike? I'd say THAT is irrelevant.

In fact, some people on the earth don't MIND seeing homosexuals in public, I guess I think whatever happens-- is NATURAL! What a Concept!!

i wasnt comparing the gay to osama and hitler, i was comparing the logic behind the statement. just because it feels right, doesnt mean it is right. and obviously you didnt catch the underlying meaning, that right and wrong are subjective thoughts.

I think homosexuals aren't looking to be noticed, just being human. I think Adolf Hitler knew what he was doing, he was doing what he believed had to be done. He didn't seem to like homosexuals. Being homosexual doesn't mean it has to be done, it's just what you do. Killing the masses wasn't something you just do. It's in your mind, not in your blood.
