Police, SWAT Team Surround Ed Brown's Property

prisonplanet.com

A new Waco could be underway as reports come in of law enforcement, APC's and SWAT team personnel descending on the home of Ed Brown, the tax protester who has threatened to use force to defend himself against authorities.

Fred Smart, a close friend of the Brown's confirmed that Brown's phone has been cut and that at around 8:30PM last night a silent surveillance drone with a bright beaming light encircled the Brown's property as if conducting reconnaissance.

This is just coming out, so it's not clear how valid this is. However, if true, this could be huge.

Ed Brown and his wife have protested the federal income tax and have refused to pay it. Brown has threatened to use force to keep from paying the tax.

From what little I know of the background of these folks, they've been holed up in their place for quite a while. More on this as more details come out.

Update:

Pastor Butch Paw (sp?), a reporter with Genesis, the network that Alex Jones' show is on, says that, though unconfirmed, he has heard that the house is on fire. Again, he says he hasn't confirmed this, but this is what he has been told.

More as the details flesh out.

Some video news reports: here

Choose "News" from the drop down on the right.

Render under Ceaser until he burns your house down and shoots your family.

The scariest thing is all those mad at the Browns and yelling "they should pay too!" Frightening.

Here's the story from AP:

Police, armored vehicle seen near Brown compound

Another guy, Jack McClan (sp?) , says that he hasn't heard about the house being on fire. But, he says that the sheriff is reportedly out of town.
Supposedly, Jack helped the people flee at Ruby Ridge, and he says the sheriff in that case was also out of town.

Thanks, guy. Sadly, my POS computer is too slow for me to check out the vid.
I'll have to check it later.

Margot Sanger Kats from the Concord Monitor says the home is not on fire and the police are leaving. This is coming as a second hand report from RBN.

I don't know what's going on, guy.

www.wmur.com...

This is local news. It says that they served a search warrant for Brown's dentist office in Lebanon (pretty sure that's not the mideast country). They also say that they've arrested one of their supporters this morning, and that a friend who left walking a dog didn't return, though the dog did.

The US Marshal says they're trying to negotiate with the Browns. This is pretty crazy, with all these conflicting reports. Seems the only thing that's certain is that cops and SWAT did surround the place and evacuate neighbors.

Maybe the cops are testing waters. To see what kind of reaction a raid may get from the people around the area. I dont see what purpose there is to taking the dental office. It was my understanding Elaine hasnt practiced in a long time and the office was essentially closed. I could be wrong though.

I found the correct spelling of "Jack McClan" Its actually Jack McLamb.

Gritz and McLamb return to the cabin to begin negotiations. Later, Randy Weaver and his children surrender.

McLamb is the Vietnam vet, decorated police officer all about federal abuses and the NWO. I can say I never would have looked him up if you hadnt questioned the spelling. Good call.

Well this is terrible news indeed. I think were living in a dictatorship American anymore. You don’t have freedoms or any rights, you only have what the government tells you, you can have.

Elaine is talking to RBN right now. Apparently journalists have been allowed up to the house and Ed is talking with them now.

I got a email alerting me to this. This is unreal he didn't pay his taxes. Oh wow!! Call the swat team. After all our country is going down the tube. After all a law stating that your supposed to pay income tax can't be found anywhere. Go figure.

There certainly is law that says you have to pay income tax. See US Code Title 26, section1.

Given the tactics of the IRS I am surprised they didn't try to reactivate SAC to do a tactical nuclear strike. They may have:

"Remember Edward Johnson that shorted us $1.38?"
"Who?"
"289-46-2385"
"Oh yeah, that miserable cheat."
"Well we are $1.36, short of the funding for the tactical nuclear strike, sir."
"Send out a SWAT team then, and Johnson was it?"
"Yes, sir"
"Send him a letter and prepare the room...I'm going to personally given him my 2 cents on this matter."

There is also supoosed to be a form to opt out if I remember the arguement correctly. The IRS does not provide that form. As far as the $2000 minimum, I think it is $4000 and that $2000 was the standard deduction in 1989. However the laws passed that enabled the direct tax on income were based on only those with an annual income above $4000 in 1932 (whichever year it began again after it was once judged unconstitutional). Allowing for inflation, no one earning less than about $50,000 should be responsible...but they will not adjust those tables for inflation. If they did, the federal and state governments would spend much less in social support programs.

Can't have that happen though, the remaining taxpayers would demand too much accountability in government budgets then. Let alone loss of labor pool and competition as ordinary people could start running their own businesses after saving for a few years. No, in the interest of protecting their own interests it is far better to keep the current wage-slave labor system. Oil and auto companies would hate for would-be-Edisons coming up with ideas and self-financing prototype research and development.

Hmm I know there's supposed to be a direct tax and indirect tax. But Then there's the phone. Food- non food tax- Gasoline tax- tobacco, State tax, Federal tax, Property tax, wheel tax, and perhaps 20 other taxes we have to pay, its crazy. Now you would think some of these taxes are illegal.

*2nd- lol thats funny had to laugh at that one.

If the guy doesn't want to pay taxes, fine, just put him somewhere where the electricity and other utilities aren't provided for him and say "Here, live off the grid if you'd like, we won't stop you". See how fast they disappear and how soon people stop caring.

Otherwise, pay your bills like every other law abiding citizen. To all of those saying that the US is becoming a dictatorship because of this... when has America never fought for money? We've always had our citizens pay taxes and I'm sure we've done some pretty radical things to make sure they pay the taxes, why should this make it any different? What's changed? The administration? The laws haven't and the money that the government wants hasn't, so why has freedom? The only true freedom that's EVER existed is the freedom to chose. Everything else is imitating.

I'm sure no one will die from this and they'll end up with some sort of agreement. I think people are just looking at worst-case scenario and basing opinions on that as of now. Does any main-stream news media have this on?

Why? What do taxes have to do with electricity?
Your utilities are paid directly to the companies that provide them.
Tax dollars do not provide utilities.

so I guess we should just forget about every law on the books and let people do whatever they want eh? Paying taxes is the law, you don't pay, you are breaking the law and subject to punishment.

I'm sure this isn't the first attempt to try to get this guy to pay his taxes. He has stated that he will use force to avoid paying, so should the police not be ready for anything in that case?
