No! it was good old George Bush the Nazi. This doesn't mean i agree with Ahmadinejad either but look to your own country for the next Hitler.

As far as im concerned both American and Iranian presidents are exactly the same. They both want war and death for their own gain.

Bush is not Hitler, hes not a Nazi, okay? Hes just an idiot. He probably means well hes just a below average person and you put a below average person in charge of a powerful country well then he can seem pretty damn evil.

Hell even if he doesn't mean well you still can't compare him to Hitler. People getting killed in irresponsible collateral damage from a miscalculated invasion that was most likely intended to be positive is still far less worse than intentionally rounding up and gassing over 12 million people on the basis that they were "inferior."

bush isnt a nazi? i'd research that statement a little bit. he may not be hitler.......but he just might be working for him.......hmmm.....

Man...tell that to all the Iraqi families that lost thousands of relatives. "He meant well but he's not a bad guy." wow.

By your definition Ahmadinejad also cannot be compared to Hitler. At that summit where he allegedly said Israel would be wiped off the map, there WERE Jews there as well. He never advocated genocide, gassings, claimed the Jews are inferior and his statement was meant to represent "regime" change not mass murder.

There are plenty of protesting Israelis that also believe that the current government/regime and it's actions are very wrong. It's like someone saying the current American administration will fade from history, and we all believe that to mean America will be destroyed.

It's not the same thing.

Haha great post, I have a similar reaction when I watch these people: that it's all an entertainment spectacle cooked up for our amusement.

I'd like to see Ahmadinejad and Bush get into the wring and give eachother headlocks and the like - now that's entertainment!

Because of course certain coincidences between Hitler and Bush means Bush is eventually going to commit purposeful genocide, right? Wrong. It means nothing.

You do know how the Bush family started their fortune? It's directly connected to Nazi Germany and Prescott (granddaddy) Bushs relationship to it. I do believe that means something.

The order, published in obscure government record books and kept out of the news, cited only the Union Banking Corporation (UBC) connections with Fritz Von Thyssen (a.k.a. "Hitler's Angel", who had been an early financial backer of the Nazi party until 1938). Prescott Bush was on the board of directors of UBC and held one share in the company. For it, he was reimbursed $1,500,000.

These assets were later used to launch Bush family investments in the Texas energy industry.

Toby Rogers has claimed that Bush's connections to Silesian businesses (with Thyssen and Flick) make him complicit with the mining operations in Poland which used slave labor out of Auschwitz, where the Auschwitz concentration camp was later constructed.

The underlying importance is Hitler's known ideology; intelligent business partners like Bush and Thyssen and Harriman clearly knew who they were doing business with and were willing to do so. Thyssen's "autobiography" is entitled I Paid Hitler.

Investigator John Loftus has said, "As a former federal prosecutor, I would make a case for Prescott Bush, his father-in-law (George Walker) and Averell Harriman [to be prosecuted] for giving aid and comfort to the enemy. They remained on the boards of these companies knowing that they were of financial benefit to the nation of Germany."

Here we go again. Every time this guy gets a little political heat at home, he makes some off the wall statement about the destruction of Israel to change the focus of attention. Small problem here. What happens if Iran does develope their own nuke? This guy is backing himself into a corner with no way out. If he doesn't use the nuke on Israel, he gets overthrown and probably killed. If he does use the nuke, then Iran ceases to exist as a country. I don't think that it will go that far. Odds are someone puts a smart bomb through his bedroom window or Iran has a civil war.

That's a very tenuous connection. If there was evidence of Bush/Nazi connections today, that would be something. Are we to hold everyone accountable for the sins of the fathers? Just because there are questionable dealings amongst one's ancestors doesn't mean that we should assume that the next generation is equally guilty. There are about 1,000,000 children's books that preach that common-sense theme.

He said nothing about destroying Israel. this time, there is no argument about translation as it is quite clear he said REGIME. When bush called for destruction of the Iraqi regime, did anyone think for a moment that he meant the entire of Iraq and it's 25 million people?

No.

So why do you now equate "Regime" with "Nation/People"?

It's election time soon in Iran, well, 2009 anyway. They won't kill him, they just won't vote for him. It's not a dictatorship in the traditional sense of the word. It might be a Theocracy, but there is an element of democracy in there. Universal suffrage for 15+ years or older as well...

Besides, the President is only a figure head, so bombing him would just piss off Iran and serve no purpose at all. They'd just elect an actual hardliner who would cause even more problems. Ahmadinejad is actually a middle of the road Iranian and has been criticised for trying to liberalise some sections of Iranian society.

Well at least the religous zealots left after the smoke clears will go back to herding goats instead of trading oil and with the West and funding their love of destroying anything that doesn't agree with their religion.

It may be the one thing that finally gets us out of the ME and use alternative fuel sources.

Taking a critical stance against Israel, a nation that ignores international law at will, is not anti-semitic.

Or should I equate your criticism of Iran as anti-Islamic?

Same thing.

Indeed.

Actually, 75% of world Jewry ISN'T semitic, but rather descended from 10th century converts.

Certain sections of society have used it to their advantage, however, to turn the word Semite into Jew. That is not the case.

Palestinians are semtic, as are alot of other groups in that region. Is Israel anti-semitic for what they do to the Palestinians? How ironic....

That doesn't matter; the fact is that the accepted use of that term now indicates Jews. The meanings of words change all the time.

WHAT??? You don't mean the KHAZARS, do you? How DARE we come in here with educated views on Semites?

And also not the only example of a word being co-opted by said sections of society.

Quite right, stu. Ironic: it's not just a bad Alanis Morissette song...
