How do you make sense of a baseless mythology? What kind of response are you looking for? You CAN NOT argue with faith. Even when shown the utter ridiculasness or totaly no compatability of seperate tenants, faith is going to make the beliver blind to the truth.

ANYBODY that has researched this AT ALL knows it to be a baseless tenat espoused only in the last 150 years or so. BUT, millions of people are still going to believe it because they are spoon feed it from a young age. OR, there will be the lame attempt to validate it with some vague quote from the book of Matt...

If Matt 16:18 is true, then the xians aughta be pissed that they didn't come up with the 75 virgin bride scenerio first! You know I think I just made a good point about how silly rapture sounds to the rest of us!

Well, I woke up this morning and I'm here to tell you that levitation and
The Rapture are two different things. Having experimented in the past with
levitation, I found it easy enough to get to the ceiling, but no further!

I was hoping to be dissolved like a fizzie and pass on through, headed for
the final frontier. Alas, it wasn't to be.

Just hours left now.

The believers are spared from the 3.5 years(2007-08-2010) the devil/nwo will control the world...the world will panic at the coming of christ(planet X)..jesus takes the believers..an all the unbelievers are left in hell(earth).

the rapture is not the second coming

Since so many of you have now left this Earthly bounds for a better Eternal life, I have started reading the "Left Behind" Series. I have only fallen a sleep once or twice. (I think my nose maybe growing on the note.) After I finish drudging through this rediculous series of books, I think I'll go see the "De Vince Code" since I have already read the book.

I was listening to some ole Beatles music and my feet started to lift off in a rapturous elevation today but then I thought of the realities of this world and came crashing bach to Earth. Guess I'm gonna have to join the lawn chair balloon brigade if they will have me; otherwise these old tired feet are chained to the ground.

It's easy to get caught up in the excitment of such a senerio, but time and time again have I seen such predictions fail. I sometimes get caught up in terror plot threats that surface, the last one I recall was about something in a ship/barge in a Texas harbor somewhere. That one was a bit freaky!

Well I got a new flush and as far as I can tell I'm not burning in hell right now and nor am I floating on a cloud with choirs of angels drinking ambrosia in a wonderfully rapturous state.

Well I got up yesterday, water my plants early in the morning as per city regulations, but I didn't see any of my neighbors been whisper away by the rapture . . .

I guess none of them were worthy of such honor.

What about this - God was not sure who really is sinless and s/he decided to rapture us all along with this planet. Now, to avoid panic s/he decided to make this happen while you were sleeping and as unnoticeable as possible. Now we are all in Heaven, we just need to realize that and act accordingly. Death is still taking place but just to relocate you to a new body and to avoid eternal boredom. Look again at your plants, they shine with a new aura since this morning.

I can tell you this much and I like part of your post . . . we are on a terrible dry season in the south, but my garden is the best looking garden in the whole subdivision.
