The issue of one's personal right is an important thing to hold dear.

The issue that we're seeing isn't for THIS administration. It's for the NEXT administration.

The idea that people can freely communicate and congregate on the net, is something that certain people do not like. Imagine if you will, some inflammatory, yet truthful document coming out in time for the 2008 elections, that would derail a candidate's presidency.

Imagine finding out that you don't choose your candidates, or presidents.

We're going to see some major changes in our laws in the very near future, as the 2008 elections come around. We will have Hillary Clinton as our president whether we want it, like it, or vote for it or not. She's going to ascend, and when she does, that will be the end of this country as we know it.

That is why all this legislation and nonsense is rolling through without so much a whimper.

Certain People being, of course, Democratic Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, who is already on the record saying that we need to rethink the Internet and regulate it with gatekeepers. She's talking about Internet censorship.

In 1998 during a meeting with reporters, Hillary Rodham Clinton said that "we are all going to have to rethink how we deal with" the Internet because of the handling of the White House sex scandal on certain Web sites. As you may recall, Matt Drudge rocketed to news media stardom when his site, The Drudge Report, broke the story of President Clinton's sexcapade with Monica Lewinsky.

Hillary Clinton was asked whether she favored curbs on the Internet, and she answered: "We are all going to have to rethink how we deal with this, because there are all these competing values ... Without any kind of editing function or gatekeeping function, what does it mean to have the right to defend your reputation?"

As we know, the FBI is one of Mrs. Clinton's favorite tools for invading the privacy of her political opposition. For punishing her opposition (or even those who she thinks might oppose her), Mrs. Clinton's weapon of choice is the IRS. So, don't be surprised when you see more and more anti-Clinton websites being shut down by the FBI and their owners being audited by the IRS.

Yep, you can expect all this and much, much more under the totalitarian regime of President Hillary. Doesn't that just fill you with excited anticipation?

"We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

I am not picking on you Blaine, but rather the thought pattern.

This goes for both sides of the coin. There are plenty of Government employees who have abused their power over innocent people they work for. That is a fact.

I know what you are saying, but dang it all, two wrongs don't make a right.

Even if this were not legal those who don't care about the law would snoop anyway.

We also have many instances where people representing the law, take the very same attitude. Once again at the expense of their employers.

We cant completely take away law enforcement power or the bad guys will advantage the weakness and we would all suffer. Of course we could just stop using the Internet.

This is where we are at right now. We can't abandon the law inforcement in place now. We as non criminal citizens have lost faith in the justice system. What do we do now?

If the system were to be beyond corruption, we wouldn't have a problem with it. The problem is that there are just as many criminals in the justice system as there is outside of it.

In fact, the justice system has become a haven for criminal activity, all done with a minimum amount of scrutiny. Who is able to police the police? How about the FBI? Who keeps them in check, because if there is no check in the system, it becomes corrupted over time.

The problem with these complaints and fears is that nobody ever offers another alternative. How could the authorities deal with people who harm children or steal music or steal movies or hack other peoples systems? You have to do more than complain. You have to have a better answer or complaining is just so much whining. How do we protect ourselves from Child Predators for instance? They just arrested one that lived in a trailer in the alley behind my office. He had three computers and many Internet accounts. How could they have caught him otherwise? He would still be there and eventually some child would have been hurt. I don't have the answer. Does anyone else?

Our entire system needs a major overhaul.

It is a strange paradox we are caught up in. If we go one way, we get our heads chopped off. If we go the other way, we are sawed in half. How do we deal with this mess we are in.

I do have inside information, that puts a solution at our doorstep. We can't do it ourselves, because we are too deeply rooted in this system, and there is not enough motivation to make changes.

Changes will be brought to us. Those evil doers and people who support them, will become a part of history we will be ashaimed of. For us to go forward as a society and to become a part of a Galactic community, we will need to put an end to evil and all that is supported by this type of activity.

We will need a lot of help with the clean up. Those ruts are so deep, we will need to be pulled out. We find ourselves in a present condition that is beyond repair.

This seems to be a worldwide sickness. People are not exempt, no matter where they live. I have not been given the number, but there are writings (The Bible) where it points out that roughly 33% of the people on Earth are going to be purged at some point. I do believe that time is at hand.

We are warned about these very things in the Bible.

Stop looking down your nose at that statement. Most religions are just as corrupted as the other institutions who have control. That even goes for the Hebrew writers. There is no immunity.

I believe the Bible is one of the more accurate renditions of what we can expect in the next few years. It may not be quite like the writers portrayed, but that doesn't make the Biblical truth about our future invalid.

We may just meet up with our root race. Then you will have the truth about your origins. At that point, they will help us deal with violence, hatred, corruption and death.

What are you people so scared of?

"oooo no they are spying on me! They want to take away my freedoms! oh no! Theyre gonna create a NWO, theres nothing we can do, oh no!!" Stop that thinking right now.

Good I hope they spy on me, I hope they check my computer, and I hope their G strings bunch up in their pants when they see how much we, the people, know, and how much knowledge we have about them.

I hope it scares them, when they see that the awakening is really happening, and so many people are aware of the corruption. I hope they frantic in panic when they realize that we the people have had it up to here with all of this garbage. I hope they scatter like rodents when they know we finally understand....they can only win when they have us in fear.

We stop being fearful, we stop worrying about our privacy, and our so called freedom, and all of that, when we just understand that fear does not exist, its only in our minds, and that when WE STOP BEING IN FEAR, THEY HAVE NO POWER OVER US.

Who cares if they look at your internet, who cares if they do this or that or whatever draconian machinations that manifest, its time ti stop being afraid of them, and start LAUGHING AT THEM.

HAHAHA you do all kinds of things to keep us suppressed, but its not working. We are rising, we are aware of what your doing, theres nothing that can stop the awakening of humanity, certainly no surveillence laws.

This is what we have now in our world. The people, the sleeping giants who have been kept in chains by the little davids, the Illuminati Elite, are now starting to wake up. All the pokes, and kicks, and spit, and pinches of the globalist Elite are starting to stir us awake. The davids, the little men, are absolutely terrified of this giant waking up, so they will try anything to stop it. They will try to tighten the bolts, put more chains on, play mind games to make the giant think its powerless and cant do anything. And, of course, they will hire people to keep constant tabs on the giant, thru surveillence.

But, the giant is awakening, and once you awaken from your dream, its hard to get back to sleep again. We are tossing and turning, rattling our chains, and very soon we are gonna be wide awake, and we will easily break off these shackles and chains, we will break out of the mental prison we live in, and toss the little davids out the door.

Remember Gulliver, when he was held down by all those little people? Well its the same with humanity, we are being held down by the few. But, we will rise, we will shake off these leeches, and we will claim our freedom back.

Any thought, any belief, and feeling otherwise....is detrimental to the energy needed to manifest our awakening. If you disbelieve, you are part of the problem. You have to know, you have to improve yourself, you have to understand your world, and your personal evolution, and you will be part of the solution.

Awakening is happening whether we believe it or not. If you miss the boat, its because you didnt believe. You, in your doubt and fear, never believed the human race is good, and we have a great future ahead of us. You give your power away, you give control of your OWN DESTINY away to other people who do your thinking for you.

Take back your mind, and take control of your future. No one is responsible for your destiny, other than YOU. This goes individually, or en masse. WHAT DO WE WANT? A NWO OR A PARADISE? WELL ALIGN YOURSELF TO WHAT VISION YOU WANT, AND WORK TO CREATE IT IN YOUR WORLD.

I'm not harping on you at all. I didn't know about the deadline either, and it makes me angry as well. But in this case i do believe the bark is worse than the bite. However, it's the principal of the matter that upsets me.

Who is inserting chips into people? If you're talking about the RFID chip for medical purposes, that's a non-issue. It poses no danger to us whatsoever. Infact, RFID is perhaps the most inefficient technology for keeping track of people. The read range isn't large enough to make an impact.

Once more, i wasn't harping on you for messing up one word. I was making a point that i believe resonates throughout the thread. I apologize if you took offense to it. I don't post to get under people's skin. I post to make points, and i'm not here to make enemies.

Every time an NSA-tapping-the-internet article came up I posted about CALEA.

Yes, it's very real, it's been going in for ages, and it's not limited to the Internet.

The telcos also have to have the capability of presenting an audio stream from any phone hookup, forwarded to the agent named in the court order. No taps needed. Haven't been for a while, if you're the feds.

Most definitely agreed on the read range of passive tags. But they are used on some government agents across the world for identification purposes in the event of death or for specific prisoners in certain 'camps'.

Quick & simple ID, especially if you have passive tags that can only be read by certain readers. For example, a company called Trovan make LF tags and readers, they can read 99% of most tags (well, certainly commercial) but no one else can read theirs. Which ensures that tags ID number is relatively safe. I'm quite certain they supply armed forces & government agencies.

As an example, please scroll down a little on this site.

Paris - The head of Interpol called on Wednesday for a global crackdown on software and music piracy, saying the illicit proceeds help finance al-Qaida, Hezbollah and other terrorist networks.

European Terrorism Law and Music Downloaders

The European music industry is lobbying the European Parliament, demanding things that the RIAA can only dream about:

The music and film industries are demanding that the European parliament extends the scope of proposed anti-terror laws to help them prosecute illegal downloaders. In an open letter to MEPs, companies including Sony BMG, Disney and EMI have asked to be given access to communications data - records of phone calls, emails and internet surfing - in order to take legal action against pirates and filesharers. Current proposals restrict use of such information to cases of terrorism and organised crime.

So if your a music pirate or a video pirate... be afraid... be very afraid, because thats EXACTLY what they are looking for... after all its obvious YOU are funding them thar terrorists

There is a thing called a job, and you do your job, and you get little green pieces of paper called "money" and you use that money to buy what you want. Downloading music is the same thing as stealing.

Its amazing how many of these pirates say" I have to steal it, cuz they charge to much..."

The FBI warning on movies though does NOT say you cannot make a copy for yourself... it says any COMMERCIAL use... however distributing it even for free is bad... bet you didn't know if you have a bunch of friends over to watch that movie at your house you are in violation and really ARE taking revenue from the theaters... goes under public performance

Your under arrest for downloading movies and music.

Maybe never can tell. Limelight should be ok but avoid Kazaa.

But I found a link here.

www.epic.org...

Downloading music and movies is a serious violation of intellectual property law, and is punishable by both prison time and significant fines. It doesn't matter where you download illegal files, because stolen property is stolen property.

The Patriot Act was pushed through so quickly under the guise of defending our citizens against muslim extremists. Today, The FBI uses it to investigate terrorists as well as domestic criminals. See anything familiar in this?

Now they're monitoring our internet for our nations security. Today, that's what i believe. Give it a year or two. Before you know it people will be going to jail for stealing movies and music, because it's against the law.
