My friend showed me this video, and I can't stop watching it. I think the video sort of sucks, but the song is awesome, and I love the vocals in this song. It's sort of a nice change from the usual growling/screaming that's in most of the metal I listen to.

Great thread. I didn't know there was so much below top secret. I'll have to set aside a few hours to listen to all the songs posted here. I'm always on the lookout for something new and heavy to bring the hairs up on the back of my neck. I hope these are heavy enough. I love this .
I haven't heard this for ages.
Sorry I couldn't resist this one. Lemmy says it all, and do watch to the end. This is what you get if you don't please the fans. Heavy metal bands beware.

That Lamb of God music you posted is great. FANTASTIC!
BUT - to me it's only a 9/10. Does anyone think there's a bit too much growling in today's HM? I don't mind it a wee bit but if that song had a voice, like Bruce Dickinson's or similar then I think it would be a definite 10. Maybe that's just me? I love any good music that's heavy. I prefer it, it moves me. My mates think it's all a racket and I don't understand why. I can pick melody from thrashing guitars & drums etc but I think a good voice can go a long way too.Too much growling nowadays methinks. But that was a great tune.

I believe you can actually dance the waltz to this one. This is one of their waltzable tunes. Or tango. Not the whole track though, but some parts of it...

Slayer - South Of Heaven

These are all oldies, but goodies. I discovered them all when I discovered Tommy Vance's Friday Rock show on BBC Radio 1 about 1980-ish. I loved that show. Saxon 747 Strangers in the Night.
Judas Priest (when Rob had hair).
This one's not very HM but I think it should be excused 'cos it's Judas Priest. Beautiful.
