Some Moslems Expect the Mahdi (Moslem Messiah) to Return (March 21, 2007)

A powerful earthquake of unknown magnitude hit a northeastern Somalia town with many people unaccounted for overnight, local official said on Sunday.

The tremble rocked Qandalla town of the semi-autonomous region of Puntland in northeastern Somalia. At least eight people are missing and are feared to have died in the quake.

Saed Waberi, the chairman of Qandalla said the earthquake generated a tsunami which rocked the town mid last night causing casualties.

Powerful ocean waves wiped out the town destroying many fishing boats. 16 people were rescued from the waves.

Are you talking about the white light in the center of it? That's the only triangular shape I really see.

Actually,I can make out a triangular pattern in there. However, I find the light in the center very mystifying. Boy, we are way off topic...Geez,. This probably should be discussed in the thread that has been alloted to this subject.

This is really not necessarily related to the Mahdi, although it may be interrelated, it's not directly related.

the mahdi is jesus christ lol muslims accept jesus as a prophet and the the prophecies concerning the mahdi have been almost always linked to jesus.

Dhaerma,Well, I don't think the government will be the anti-Christ but I do think it is the "beast." If one looks at the prophecies, the "Beast" is the form of government the "anti-Christ" will rule. It most likely will be a dictatorship under the guise of a Democracy. We all know that will never work.

yes i worded it wrongly not the physical government but the ignorance(evil in other words) the is the energy of anti christ .

and the energy of christ is the energy of awareness flowing through people awakening many which is seen right now there are alot of realizations going on right now soon people will be ready to hear the unsymbolism'ed truth. you may be aware of this for instance .

Bush certainly does play a role. I think on the spiritual level he volunteered himself to represent the masses of humanity,at least here in the United States, and a good representation he has been.

I doubt he would do very good against governments because they have alot more money than any one person. The guy (should he return) is probably working at some 9-5 job to earn money for a place to live, and media to publish the truth with. If the life of Christ is any example, he's probably dirt broke.

Now the anti-christ (if he were real) is another story, he is apparantly first in time, which means jesus will be under attack by the anti-christ when he shows up. I would expect that information about expecting a false prophet is anti-christ propaganda designed to prevent people helping Christ should he try to claim the truth about his existence -- will he be under attack by anti-christ followers who say they back jesus but actually smear him as a "false" prophet, to all our shame and misery.

I think the holy trinity of God, son and holy spirit is mirrored in satan, the beast and the false prophet.

My understanding which is not necessarily good, is that Jesus Christ will be along side the the Islamic Messiah when he returns, as a prophet, and assistant.


That is what I read somewhere anyway. OK so is he one year old now, or was he a no show?
