It was a "demon" disguised as Christ that they saw... The bible is quite clear that "demons" can take on any form that they wish in order to deceive the masses.

Well, that sort of explains why "Jesus" exposed these people to immense suffering themselves. "Do as I say, or else!"

And if these "damned souls" were in such constant, excruciating pain, I doubt they would have been able to ignore it in order to engage in a conversation.

I don't doubt these people saw what they say they did. But I believe it was a Dark entity deceiving them and trying to scare them into submission.

yeah, its called these 7 youths are on acid or shrooms and having one heck of a trip.

And that caused "telepathy" between them, did it?

Must have if they all had the same "trip"...

Not just ONE of the Columbian youths saw John Lennon...if they were all together with Jesus in hell, then they ALL SAW John Lennon there. They just all didn't mention that episode, but various parts of their experiences. Just like in the New Testament when the Disciples wrote about Jesus' birth, life and crucifixion...their stories touched on different aspects, not all having the same view or reporting on the same elements, but the principles and Truths were the same. The facts are; These witnesses agreed Jesus was born of woman, died and was buried, rose the third day, and ascended into heaven...this we can be sure of. The fact is too, that the 7 Columbians ALL mentioned being in hell with Jesus and ALL saw the same horrific punishments being meted out to those poor souls.

I believe every part of these kids testimonies. Why not believe them when what they exclaim lines up with the scriptures? More than 250 warnings by God and the Prophets that the wicked will end up in hell where there's endless torment, where the worms eat the body but die not, the burning lake of fire, hades, Gehenna, the pit, burn in hell, spirit prison, endless abyss, etc, are in the Holy Bible. We have been warned again and again! Take heed folks!

...because it is the biggest load of scripted, zealous, fear-mongering christian tripe I've ever read?

Well maybe the purpose of the vision was to demonstrate that not only people who we deem as worthy of hell such as hitler go there. Other people who we may see as undeserving of hell, God may see otherwise!

Several people have reported visions of heaven and hell as well near death experience ecounters with heavenly and hellish beings. I think its up to the person to believe what he or she desires, however I have a strong belief in heaven and of hell

You have got to ask why is it always a christian thing, always fear an loathing if yea dont do as Jesus says theres no hope, i pity the poor two thirds of the population of the planet that are not into Christianity! very judgmental without compassion, satanic music group "The Beatles." indeed,

See, SEE! even God doesn't like the Beatles!
I honestly thought I was the only who didn't like the Beatles.
Stupid band name too...

Anyway, I call BS, only because I don't believe in "God".
But I could be wrong, they very well could of saw Jesus, or a Demon taking his form.

BUT!

Did they describe what he looked like?
If they say he was white with long hair a looked like a hippy...
It's definitely BS.

This is such crap.

There'll be a real ugly place in eternity for people who lie about this sort of thing. Disgusting.

IS JOHN LENNON IN HELL ?
As a Bible believing Christian Hell scares me no end. The seven backed
up their stories with scripture - but the lake of fire is at the very end of time in Revelation.
I have read "23 minutes in Hell" and watched the guy being interviewed
- seemed genuine and he still suffers from what he saw. Jesus took him
around Hell and it is similar to the "seven's experiences" - his wife found him screaming downstairs.
If Hell was not so terrible why would Jesus have to suffer so much. His Father cannot tolerate sin but he has given us a way out.

But the most convincing site is Dr Rawlings the heart surgeon who brings
heart attack victims " back from the dead". He was an athiest but after
some of his patients came to life screaming that they had been to Hell
he decided to log their experiences. The Psychologists say the experiences are too structured and vivid to be caused by brain damage.
Needless to say Dr Rawlings is now a Christian - have a look at his website.

to my reasoning, these 7 youngsters read 'Dantes' Inferno'
and ate a pepperoini pizza... and had a nightmare that comes straight from the medieval times accounts of hell.

what a boatload, they are regurgitating the pious nonsense used to scare elementry school children by strict religious orders.

i scanned the stories and never noticed a part where anybody met John Lennon...at the time of the vision experience on 11 April 1995

Ok,
so .....so far everyone here for the most part believes this is all a crock of #e.

But hear me out for a sec.

What if its not Jesus sending them to hell and him not being able to take them out of there. What of thats just the way the machine of life and death works, that the only way to leave this place and go past hell is to transcend all attachments, needs, and wants ...and to under go ego death.

Just sayin for sake of convo. If this is how it works then even Jesus himself couldnt do anything because that would be how the machine works.

If this was how it was ...that would mean pretty much that most of us are going to hell. How many people do you know who don't: lie, gossip, tithe, have sex, get drunk, act vain, have attachments, have addictions, etc

didnt lennon pen that song that goes "imagine there`s no countries, and NO RELIGION, too"? I mean, it`s a great song and I get what he was trying to say, but like so many others, I think he got it wrong. It`s not religion that did anything, it`s the people who twisted it into something vile. So I`m sorry but I don`t agree with "no religion". How about "no religious leaders telling you what to believe"? That`s the ultimate lie is that you need someone else to experience god or the creator or whatever you call it. Also, it`s free. It doesn`t cost any money at all. I can`t say if these visions are true or not, or if they are true, if that was really jesus showing them things. But who knows? The part where "lennon" blasphemes Jesus after not being released from hell makes me think that or rather, it makes me think about a lesson. Like as if the "lennon" figure never really loved or had faith in Jesus anyway and thats why he couldn`t be released yet until he stopped blaspheming against jesus everytime his request was denied. Like maybe it was a test. Jesus says "no" just to see if "lennon" will accept his answer or blaspheme again. It might sound silly, but it just popped in my head .

If John Lennon is in hell, then that's the exact place I want to go when I die.

right are we suppose to love God, or just be # scared of him from begining to end? Imagine having to go through your whole life thinking about every single little action, word or deed, scared to death about going to die and ending up in hell? wait, thats what happens. Talk about control, you could get people to do whatever you wanted and milk them for all their money. Oops, again, thats what happens.

DarkTower just getting to grips with the site - strangely you ask the same
questions about God as JOB - one of the oldest Bible books . It shows that
Satan has conversations with God - who is good , pure and incorruptable.
Have a look at Job 7 in particular Job 7 ch17 which is what you are asking.

If you were down on your luck you would want Job to help you.

God was TESTING him.
