UFO slipped by Video editors on TV program this Sunday?

Just used snagit 8 to zoom in on frames. I know it was a video of a TV screen, but just figured it would be cool to see them zoomed in so here are some zooms. Made a collage with paint shop pro 10

DriveByReader - Do you have or can you have a VCR hooked up to your Tivo box so you can at least get a VHS copy of the incriminating video clip? If so, I highly recommend you send it in to a UFO Investigation website, like Mufon, so it can be professionally analyzed to make certain it's not a conventional aircraft or it is a hoax.

There was a UFO captured in an MythBusters episode too.I just saw it on TV, it definately is metallic and I personally dont think it is a blimp.

Reptilian Queen - (Bowing to Royalty :roll i do have a VCR hooked up, but the video feed was coming from the Satelite to the TV and not through the Sat-VCR-TV. Sorry.

DigThat - I feel your enthusiam...I cant wait either. I dont know if they do reruns, I usually dont watch that program. I do know they have media clips at their web site, but the clips there are for local spots (DFW). Remember, they were showing a clip for a Virginia couple when I caught this. I have tried finding a "Hot On Homes" programing in that area (Dc/Virginia), but came to a halt with some "Go Daddy.com" page.

I am hoping what I can get me hands on will give us a better resolution. Personally, I dont think it was a blimp...just by its movement right at the end when it shifts to the left. I could not make out tail wings in its shape and being greyish in color...i did not see "Goodyear" plastered on the side. Yes, distance can be a factor, but its movement does not work well with the blimp idea. Just my opinion. I think it is either video editing Geeks playing a hoax or could be the real deal. Who knows?

And if it is a confirmed blimp...I will praise Zerotime for keeping a grounded perspective.

It would be extremely easy to find out if there was a blimp sent up to float by that area on that day where this video was recorded by simply finding out the names of those company's in that area who have a fleet of them and offer that service

Or one can even call up one of the main airports in that area to see if a blimp pilot/company logged into their flight books to go up that day in that area. The FAA would even have this information.

Even the TV station who recorded this video would have information on those blimp company's in their area because all of them include the name of their stations on those blimps that fly in their area.

Hmmmm....when I had cable, I had a Tivo type equivalent on my box. You could hook the VCR straight to the box and when replaying a show you recorded on the box, you could record it on VHS at the same time, like hooking up two VCRs or a DVD to a VCR. I was wondering if you had the Tivo set up like that?

I understand what your saying. With my config. at home...the VCR is just not being used. Wish I could have got it on VHS, Heck...if I would of known something like that were to happen, i would switch over to the HD antenna and connected the VCR to record that...but it all happend quick and on the fly.
Let's just hope what I am trying to obtain will do us justice.

I really hope you post your findings if you happen to get that DVD video. I was looking at the images again and they just do not seem to look like a Blimb. My other thought was maybe a store in the town was selling UFO collectibles and had a UFO balloon? Hey, anything is possible

At first I would say a blimp but it doesn't really seem blimpish to me. Too domed.

I'd say this is pretty genuine as I doubt someone would really put something like that in a regular film.

So what you're saying is that you did not record it on Tivo? If you did, then you could have by hooking a VCR up to the Tivo box made a VHS archive of it.

Sorry I have not responded lately....been busy.
But I got the DVD from the production company. I will post up the clip from the vid this evening and a screen shot of some things I noticed. (Cant do it from work with the Firewall) After watching it with a better clarity, it has shown some interesting details. I dont think this is a blimp at all. Also, I am getting a friend to zoom in the vid for you guys and make picts of each frame.

Oh, and here is a screen shot from the DVD that I have noted with comments. I will upload vid tonight.

I am wondering if there has been any updates to this. Has DriveByReader uploaded a clip to any server? If this was not an advertisement balloon or a blimp then I think the camera did catch an actual UFO. I would love to see a video / image expert look into this deeper. Throughout the thread there are links to vid's and images ... maybe someone else can give their updated opinion?
