Deny ignorance, right?

sorry it was a long day yesterday and I was using it interchangably. Didn't realize it til I checked it today I had used it so much. Thanks for pointing that out.

why would we be borrowing money from a bank, what does that achive, do they pay taxes on the profit they make. Iv'e never heard of a figure that central banks pay annually into taxes.

so our government collects money from us to give to a bank because they cant come up with better legislation. sorry, that sounds far to stupid to play into. and it is funny because it is usually the most educated ones that claim taxes are legit, common sense folk know better.

I believe everyone is getting caught up in too many details here. The tax issue for Mr. Brown was just the final straw. Let's back out of the trees for a minute and look at the entire forest.

Allow me to list a few recent headlines that are not being covered much in the mainstream media...

1.)Gonzales: ‘There Is No Express Grant of Habeas Corpus In The Constitution’
Yesterday, during Senate Judiciary Committee hearings, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales claimed there is no express right to habeas corpus in the U.S. Constitution. Gonzales was debating Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA) about whether the Supreme Court’s ruling on Guantanamo detainees last year cited the constitutional right to habeas corpus. Gonzales claimed the Court did not cite such a right, then added, “There is no express grant of habeas in the Constitution.”

Specter pushed back. “Wait a minute. The constitution says you can’t take it away, except in the case of rebellion or invasion. Doesn’t that mean you have the right of habeas corpus, unless there is an invasion or rebellion?” Specter told Gonzales, “You may be treading on your interdiction and violating common sense, Mr. Attorney General.” Watch it:

It is painfully obvious that the government is out of control. Look up the sneaky little national I.D. card law with RFID technology that becomes law in 2008. Guess what happens when you don't have one of these ID cards?

I suggest folks read Thomas Paine's "Common Sense" and "The Rights of Man" Here is a start www.ushistory.org...

I believe that one of his famous quotes fits in quite nicely here...
"These are the times that try men's souls".

To my fellow Americans on this board, please stop with the "get the hell out of my country" crap. I'm sure if more people could afford to, they would. Attitudes like that do nothing to advance our society.

There is one major thing that We the People can do and I can tell you that there are efforts underway to remove the ability from the people. We currently have the ability to call for another constitutional convention and draft a new one. I watched a program on CSPAN a few months ago, they were showing a press club event and one of the speakers was Justice Stevens (Spelling may be incorrect). He was addressing a team of lawyers and he singled this issue out. He said that it was unfortunate that the people had the authority to throw off this government and form a new one if we chose to. That's some scary crap to me.

If the Swiss can do it, we can too.

Namaste, peace to you all.

Tom why don't you go back in time and ask them why they put banks in charge of making US dollars? Thats the only way you will find out.

Maybe they thought it would make things more efficient. Maybe they thought it would take more responsibility off the governments job. Maybe they were simply paid off by some of the richest men in the world who owned these banks and had alot of money to make off of it.

Whatever reason, the banks make our money, lend it to us, and charge us interest for it. Thats cold hard fact. What most people don't realize is that in 1984 a report came out that said directly, 100% of the individual income tax is spent on paying off the national debt created by the interest charged by banks to buy our own money.

Its rather simple. Income tax pays for national debt. National debt is created when government makes a budget, create a deficit, and just borrow money from the central bank, who charge interest on the money we borrowed. Income tax pays for that interest.

US is already bankrupt and Asia is now servicing our debt. When the foreign loans dry up the fat lady comes out and the market collapses.

My Mistake Regen, I meant the interest on it. Its not paying off the national debt, but just the interest that builds off of it.

Foreign loans service our interest, while the principle is still increasing and our taxes are but a spit in the ocean. If China stopped buying treasuries, we would go into default. One thing is for sure, they won't service us forever.

They buy our debt, so we can buy their goods. Income Tax Pays the interest we owe on the debt we have accumulating everytime we borrow money from the banks.

But lets also not forget that they only own about 50% of our national debt. the other half we are still actively trying to pay off.

ALSO lets not forget thats central banks are counted in combination with foreign investors.

Guys, the Euro is getting stronger and stronger. How long do you think the Dollar will last once the great selloff starts?

I´m convinced major international investors will back away from the Dollar in a heartbeat once the trust starts to crumble...

Whatever way you look at it, The Federal Reserve system is just a front to get control of a nation´s monetary system in private (and unaccountable) hands.

Congress should abolish the Federal Reserve, and seriously sanitize (or even dismiss) the IRS. The IRS is involved in illegal practives, and the Federal Income Tax is illegal. Hopefully more individials will join Mr. Brown in his stance, because alone he does not stand a chance.

And if you had any doubt, the Bankers own YOUR politicians, YOUR media, YOUR dog, YOUR life and everything YOU have and are.. Zionists? Who said that! Wasn´t me... but should have been.

And once they get that nice chip in you, they can even shut you off when they want to.... Maybe Alex Jones is not such a lone not after all.....

The US isn't actively paying off anything interest or otherwise, it is in perpetual tail spin of debt creation. The US can not even meet its interest obligations without creating more debt.

Maybe you better explain to me how you think debt is wealth...you lost me.

Then where would the income tax be going if not paying for interest on the national debt as the government said it was? Its not going to defense, building roads, schools, education, or anything like that, so where is it going?

other taxes pay for all that stuff, so wheres it going if its not paying for the interest like the government said?

I hope this thread doesn't turn into another 'bang your head against the wall, we know we are right but what are we going about it' like ive been involved in a few times before

Ed Brown in actually doing something, it does bother me that he took steps to avoid paying rather than not pay all together, which would have been and is my stance on the situation, but i wont hold that against him, its just sad that only in times of turmoil do people stand up for what is right. I didn't shut up and listen until i was injured and out of work for eight months looking for something to point the finger at.

He was put in a position of do or die (live in his home bought and paid for, or live in a prison)

Now your trying to tell me the government is honest ? After they raided the social security trust fund and have been trying to skuttle the remnants off onto Wall Street? All the coupon passes, Bernanke printing presses running like the Weimar Republic, manufacturing jobs going poof by the tens of thousands, billions owed in back taxes, housing market plummeting, personal savings at 1930 levels, insane tax cuts, and creative bookkeeping out the whazoo....I just don't see how you can say any of it is honest or discernable.

This is where your taxes supposably go:
www.warresisters.org...

A rising national debt says we ain't making it, we are borrowing it. Borrowing more and more just to make minimal service installments is not paying off our debt, and eventually our credit will run out...then we are SOL with a billion pissed off Chinese. Next time you cash that paycheck, remember your company probably borrowed it. Service economy, what a scam.

H&R Block takes Visa too...
