I did not quote you and I obviously quoted jra's link-"From jra's link..."quote...". Earlier in this thread, you agreed that contrails may have effects on our planet. I was not quoting you and I clearly stated that I was quoting jra's link.

While I remain mostly unconvinced of chemtrails, strictly from a mathematical perspective,
I think there's climatological data that would assist anyone trying to track a supposed chemtrail. HowardRoark has mad some
excellent points regarding temp and humidity. I would only add vorticity..

Air moves both up and down in a motion called vorticity. Negative vorticity is downward flow and
positive vorticity is upward flow. Now if I wanted to drop chemicals on a population, the first
thing you would do is wait for negative vorticity. No sense in dispensing chemicals that will
only rise higher into the atmosphere and lose concentration, not to mention any possible interaction the
chemcial might have with other gases in the atmosphere. I would reccomend trying
to correlate sightings with voriticity. This page is noaa's prediction map for vorticity. I don't know of a real time map.

I would also think that any respritory problems would have to be urban pollutants and pollent. My reccomendation
would move to an area with clean air. Oregon is nice..if you can handle the rain.

Then there's Kucinich. That's when my interest really peaked. The only problem is he introduced the same
legislation the following year, except no mention of chemtrails.

The other problem I have with chemtrails is the sheer volume of the atmosphere. Unless the suspected chemical
is added to ALL jet and airplane fuels, it really is impossible to introduce a chemical at concentration levels that would affect us.

People have been trying to "seed" the air for precip for decades and there still hasn't been replicable mechanism or chemical
to do so. Denver tried it a couple of years ago to help the ski resorts out...with no luck.
The only gas concentrations you should be worrying about are methane and CO2.

if there is indeed something sinister in contrails, it would be part of 'the great work'. this should tie in nicely with the hermeticism thread.

Thank you, kukla. I appreciate you being polite and posting your great input! I haven't noticed any trails for a few weeks now. I will continue to watch for them and see if there's any correlation with negative vorticity. Thanks for the link!

Actually it is both and neither. Depending on how you look at it, EM energy can exhibit properties of waves or properties of particles (photons).

At any rate, how come you are making this big deal over that, yet you are ignoring Mikromarius�s contention that radio waves are just high frequency sound waves?

This statement is completely NOT TRUE. The array DOES heat up a good area of the ionosphere. The heated region is typically at 75 km (though this depends upon the carrier frequency) and can be 30 km in diameter and a few km thick. That area would completely cover the island I live on (St. John, USVI) as well as a good portion of St. Thomas. That is by no means small or difficult to measure!!

OK Mr. Applied Physics, lets see the math. Assume you are heating up an area the size of a cube that is 30 km per side. How much energy will it take to heat up this area 0.1 degree K? or even better, what percentage of the entire ionosphere is the volume of this cube?

And the reason they built it in such a remote location is they do not know the long term effects of these experiments with regard to human exposure.

Are you sure that it wasn�t because they wanted to study the aurora? I would also expect that they wanted to avoid interference from other radio sources also.

Certainly it wouldn�t be a good idea to go strolling through the arrays when they are in operation, but I wouldn�t recommend climbing the local radio station transmitter tower either. What is your point?
