Leeds have on Saturday evening made a third bid for striker David Healy as they intensify their efforts to sign Preston's Northern Ireland
international.
Healy played 75 minutes of Preston's 1-0 defeat at Elland Road, producing a hard-working display despite the speculation that has surrounded the
forward in the build up to this game.
Leeds, this week, made unsuccessful offers of 100,000 and 200,000, both rejected out of hand by the Preston board who signed Healy for 1.5million from
Manchester United four years ago.
Healy, though, is out of contract next summer and is refusing to sign a new deal, and it seems only a matter of time before Leeds get their man.
