Congress will approve an immigration bill that will grant citizenship rights to most of the 12 million to 20 million illegal aliens in the U.S. after Democrats take control next month, predict both sides on Capitol Hill.

Well I guess the next question is......will the Government actually enforce immigration laws after this debacle to advoid having to do this in the future AGAIN!!!

Why am I not surprised?
The Republipukes dragged their feet entirely too long on this issue and I think we all know where the Demopukes stand on this issue..

They know the damage that illegal immigration is causing America, yet they refuse to act. Folks, our government is not looking out for us,nor for the continued existence of America.

Cristobal Silverio emigrated illegally from Mexico to Stockton, Calif., in 1997 to work as a fruit picker.

He brought with him his wife, Felipa, and three children, 19, 12 and 8 – all illegals. When Felipa gave birth to her fourth child, daughter Flor, the family had what is referred to as an "anchor baby" – an American citizen by birth who provided the entire Silverio clan a ticket to remain in the U.S. permanently.

They Know,Yet,They Do Nothing

You see, what gets me is that "WorldNet" is a very pro Republican publication and even it wrote about the damage illegal immigration is doing to America. Yet, the whole time the Republicans were in office they did nothing to stop illegal immigration!! NOTHING!!!

Now the Demofreaks are going to gain control, and like I already said,we already know where they stand on this issue.
Hell, let's just let everyone come in here and over run our great country. Hell, we can handle it. Yeah, whatever..

One thing that many American citizens doesn't understand is . . . the power of the people, if enough Americans take to the streets and demand a stop to this bill it will never happen.

All you have to see is how the state the citizens voted overwhelmingly to stop illegals in their states.

Is up to the people to make themselves heard.

But the last time it was a protest related on immigration it was the immigrants the ones making the most out of it.

So where are all those anti immigration Americans when the pro immigration were doing their Marches?

If people do no scream how can they be heard.

Democrats won the congress not because the immigration issues but because the war.

So anybody that doesn't like what is going on with the immigration bill better start protesting now of for ever hold their peace.

So now we know who is going to benefit from the increase in minimum wages.

immigrants.

The problem with 'standing-out' against illegal immigration is that you are automaticly labeled as a RACIST! and therefore are compared to neo-nazis and the KKK.

This country (US) has gotten entirely to 'PC' and too many lawyers get involved.

Well, you know what?On the whole immigration issue,I think there needs to be a quota system per year. We shouldn't have this open door policy that we currently have. There should be a limit on how many people from other countries are allowed to become citizen's..

I am Spanish and for that fact I am considered a minority I am against amnesty for illegals, so will I be tagged a racist?

I don't think so.

Is like everything else only the majority can win and right now the majority are relaying to much in their politicians in congress to do that for them.

But guess what it doesn't work, only with the voices of the majority changes can be stop and fixed.

But Americans don't have the time or the energy to come out on mases anymore to tell the government how they feel.

Everything is left to dirty politicians to do it for them.

I say we should demand a referendum about immigration and see what the majority says about that.

Is about time that we the people take a stand.

Hypothetical question here...

What do you feel would be the pros/cons of the US adding Mexico to the Union? It's pretty clear to me that the citizens of Mexico have little intrest in bringing their country out of 3rd world status. Most seem to want to take the easy way out and immigrate to the US all the while exploiting our system for their gain all the while. It's a "damned if we do, damned if we dont" scenario. We cant change it or be unsypathetic racists for doing so. And if we do nothing our way of life will forever be brought to their level. Look how far we have slid down the gutter since the 50's, which is conciderd the utopian point of our society.

Too much coal amongst the diamonds makes them all sparkle a little less.

Marg,I definitely think there should be a referendum on this issue. Hell, why not in the next election? I guarantee you, if there is one held, politicians will find out that at least 80% of the population wants stricter guidelines for immigration.

This is an issue that really burns me up. I am not racist; I like hispanics.I have actually dated two or three hispanic girls, but my God!!

To Marg6043,
I'm Seminole. My people are from the Cherokee.
My people are FROM this country, long before it became one.
Am I prejudiced against ? Only if I allow it.
I've served proudly, in the Army.
I've married and done quite well with my life.
If someone, not just a person, but a race decides they've been slighted, look to the source.
Do I want the borders closed ? Yes.
Why ? Because we as a country have our own problems.
Immigrants are equivilant to PC viruses. (pun intended)
Legal, that's ok. Illegal, no. The term "ILLEGAL" should mean something.

Just my 2 cent,
Lex

Creedo,I'd be more than willing to accept Mexico into the union, but it will never happen because most Mexicans, as you stated, would rather keep their sovereign nation and immigrate to another. It doesn't make sense, but that is how they are.

SoT, you said,
"That is how they are".
I know this is a bit OT, but can you really make a general statemenet like that, and expect it to fly ?
Tell me. How do you know That is how they are ?
Tell me how I am ? Are you that gifted ?

I couldnt agree more.... half my family is Mexican... I live smack in the middle of Stockton, Ca. and let me tell ya.. I feel like the oddball here. Within a year of living here I have picked up enough trash in and around my yard from passers by (90% mexicans walking to and from the store) to fill a large dumpster. I have had my mail stolen from my mailbox twice now and had several things stolen from my yard such as solar walkway lights. I have installed cameras in my front and back yards and the thing I see on a daily basis makes me wish there was a police station next door. The once beautiful 1930's era homes in this area are virtually in shambles and are starting to resemble Tijuana. I regret ever buying my home in this city. This once beautiful city is lost... ruined by immigration.

Maybe not a racist Marg, but definitely a Race Traitor.

This would not be the first 'amnesty' that has been passed, it was already done multiple times starting in 1986.

If citizens of the USA really want to stop this they must do the following:

1) Write your Senator and Congressmen, explain that this action will result in:

a) Your immediate withdrawl of all support for their party.

b) Your support now being tendered to [party of your choice] that is against Amnesty and Illegal Immigration.

2) Take the steps, deny Global Corporate interests and Vote a third party.

Or not bother ... after all, you really do want to be a part of the NWO, and surrender your soul to their wants and needs.

Well, creedo, it's not so much that Mexicans are dirty. I don't believe that, and if you do come across dirty ones it's because of the pack mentality that they seem to have. As a matter of fact, I have seen a couple of my hispanic girlfriend's homes that were immaculate.

However, something you must consider is that many hispanics do not have the income to live in real nice, glitzy areas.. If they do move into an area and it becomes "ran down" it's generally not always do to just the presence of hispanics..There is often outside influences that beebop into the neighborhood that contributes to the trashing of the area..

Amen to that...While the first choice, due to my lack of faith in the powers that be, does not seem very viable to me.. This one certainly I can agree with. The only real hope for this country, in my opinion, is for the American public to wake up and vote for an independent candidate. Otherwise, we might as well as jack it up and give it a kick.

Provide proof of what? That Mexicans wouldn't be in favor of joining the union?
I'm not understanding what you are asking proof for?

The native Americans got a raw deal, and for that I will always live here in this country with a little bit of shame for what my European ancestors did to them in the name of expansion. But too much time has passed since then to right the wrong, so what this country needs to do is make certain that american Indian culture is forever protected and cherished. Those who are directly guilty of this crime are all dead now, so at least we can do is help as a nation to save their culture.
