Just a little request:
Could you please put the source of the texts you post tagged as "external"?

These documents came to me from the Lunar and Planetary Institute... Colorado School of Mines via a CD I purchased from the Lunar and Planetary Institute that has all the documents of the 2004, 2005 and 2006 SPACE RESOURCES ROUNDTABLE documents... They are all in public domain with no copyright implied...

They are also the introduction to the topic of discussion papers not the final transcripts which I have not found yet...

I did a search today a little while ago and found that they are in fact accessable for free on the internet [good thing the CD was cheap only 8 bucks shipping]

Now that I see them on the LPI website it will be easier...

I do admit I did not want to reveal ALL of the info at the same time though... heck you guys won't even read past posts in this thread..
and I was sure any serious searcher would follow up...

Actually, this thread is about speculation on Lunar pictures and no-one is claiming they know the full truth. If members wish to participate in such endeavors, that is their prerequisite. If, however, anyone can prove that such searching is in vain, producing the incontravertable evidence would certainly be beneficial.

If I were to speculate that the Moon is a figment of our imaginations could you produce incontrovertible evidence that I was wrong?

I'm sure that he could if he was still online but seeing as he isn't I'll answer your question. The tides. Using mathmatics and physics which are PROVEN the moon can NOT be a figment of our imagination. Unless mathmatics and physics are figments of our imagination as well.

Do you have anything to add to the discussion here aside from antagonism?

Edit to add: OK, I see you agree:

Probably a bit of both, but what faith do you want me to put in companies that you say are keeping a huge secret like this? Why should I believe a word of what they are saying in one thing if they are lying on another? They cannot be half-serious, either they are or they aren't. If they are operating in a secret conspiracay, then they are not serious people as they are keeping from us information that would be in our best interest.

OK well bad example.

Is that what my opinion is because I don't happen to agree with someone who says everything we know is wrong? After all he's the one who fired the first the shot (insult).

Yeah, we got that. We also got the point that you have a problem with John. It wasn't hard to see. BTW, did you check out the T&C?

"2) Behavior: You will not behave in an abusive and/or hateful manner, and will not harass, threaten, nor attack anyone.

Believe me, we would be saying the same thing if John was "harrassing" you.

The T&C applies to ALL members.

I have a problem with what's he's saying. Is there a difference?

Yes I did thanks, right after masqua spanked me.

I trust you would but that'll probably never happen because as a rule I don't go around making wild claims based on hearsay and conjecture without any evidence to back it up.

New member, you are really not getting off to a good start. Right now you are leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I suggest you take a break for a while and watch how we post and interact. Disrupting threads and attacking people viciously is going to get you banned..fast.

Just a word of warning.

Thanks for the suggestion. By the way what's your opinion of johnlear's moon picture as evidence of a conspiracy?

THAT actually is a good point... but is it "im our best interest" to know everything? I am not sure on that yet. But i do take your point that cover up on the one hand makes you distrust the other hand...

but there is that nagging little birdie called "national security" To much info in too many hands is just, if not more so, as dangerous as not knowing. We just get ticked off because WE need to know...

Yes a HUGE difference... if you cannot understand that, more is the pity...

Now then back to the previous program.... and to inject a little light heartedness

This picture shows a long Ore Train going into a tunnel on the ledge...

This one has a structure and several mining machines...

The next three are rock drills... no good mine should be without one

And finally some of those HUGE mining trucks...

So.... opinions?

Well there's actually the issue that it's you taxpayers money being used to fund this things , so it's not a question of being good or not for you, it's a right you have.

Are you trying to tell us that they are launching ramps for an orbital connection between the earth and the moon?

To the "new" member, Savior of the Right, I believe you are phishing. We really don't have what we want yet. As for our motives, our respective governments do owe us, the taxpayer, an explanation as to why our children must tolerate a second rate education system, inherit the backwash of corruption, hunger, poverty, a broken medical system, and so forth when we had the resources and wealth since the 50s to keep those bad things from happening..

So the question remains, where did all the money go and why are we still in this mess? I am one of those kooks that reads science fiction, and I recommend a brilliant novel by an overlooked author called Cities in Flight by James Blish. In that work a significant portion thereof is devoted to describing what happens to Earth after a scientific breakthrough takes mankind to the stars.

It is relevent here to review since the patterns share the same earmarks. Subsequent trashing of our world after major technological development takes place. It is really a good read and will provoke your intellect.

Ok, I'll make ya a deal. You tell me what/where those are, and I'll be more than happy to give my opinion. I know ya said to nevermind about the what and where, but it IS important to the debate, whether one wants to admit it or not.

I'll just say right now that there DOES appear to be something there, albeit I don't know what it could be. It DOES look artificial, but as we all know from previous points in this thread, I tend to have what some might call an overactive imagination, even though I still think my picture was just as valid as most of the ones I've seen thusfar.

These two, however, stand out. Good find Zorg!! You have my attention again. Just don't lose it this time!!
