I was looking for my robes and remembered you havn't given me any yet *sigh*

I mean for a wizard with a magic ring and a black cat , well, you know...

As you can see, there are some...erm...changes, I guess you could say...really very little to do with the science

But now that you're back I am sure things will pick up

I ask you John, where exactly did YOU come up with the term "hydro-electric etching"?

Back up in Canada we talk about hydro electric being "Hydro-electric power generated from falling water...

hydrokinetic and tidal power
hydroponics

Hydro =Water related even wikipedia agrees..

I will probably regret this in the morning, but I would like to point that the Clementine photos are not true colour, don't take them as such.

LOL you better believe your going to regret it... Don't you remember how many pages that argument went through in the Clementine thread?

I got some documents I want you to read, but we will do it U2U for now so we don't drag that issue back into this thread

Oh not THAT old CREATED image again? Read the credits at the bottom... Garvin... that image was created for an animation using Hubble Data and Clementine Data its not a true photograph!

This was the page that had the Clementine data set from 1998 which they changes to read 1994 AFTER we presented it in this thread...

svs.gsfc.nasa.gov...

Animation Created Image not a real photo, according to NASA

Zorgon has found some interesting buildings in this photo.

Ah how soon they forget....

Daedelus Crater is also known as Crater 308...

We all remember that one don't we? Its looking from the other direction and it's where we found the "compound"

Now Zarni... please be so kind and compare the crater of your structure and dome with the location of the "compound" They look like the same crater to me...
bearing in mind you have to reverse the view... Now if they are the same hole... well do I really need to say it?

and where The Borg found these...

The page is here...

Yes that picture... Here is the original... The "tower" is very clear in this version, and I have the .tiff somewhere here..

What I really like about this one is that you can see the dark undisturbed crater terraces on the right, and compare them to the lighter disturbed terraces on the left... the area we call the mine... and the grades are very noticeable in this image

This one shows how John's scan fits over the later shot taken by Orbiter 5

Nopers... I don't think my post is the location of the compound. But, then again I'm easily confused.

Welcome back, Z !

Well its close... want me to draw the lines? Look at the image with the "compound" you will see two parallel ridges at the crater edge. Now look behind your area... I see two parallel ridges... but it might be the nest crater now that I look at it

I will put some letters on them and see how they line up

Not sure... Based on experience, I'm going to assume you are correct and go to sleep
I still think that sphere shaped thingie is pretty odd.

P.S. How's that 160 degree weather in Vegas you've been having?

I agree I am going to go over all those images again in the morning, see what I can dig up... but hey sleep is highly over rated
2 hours a nite should be plenty

Balmy !! And saves on cooking expenses... just set your food out on the back porch for about 5 minutes...

It has been hot here in West Texas, too. We are on the edge of the desert, so 100's are the norm for 3 months a year.

I barbque every night so i don't have to use the stove to cook a whole lot.

It is much, much better than have the a/c freeze up.

Zorgon, that is funny I was in Vegas about 12 or so years ago and the temperature was 117 degrees and when I walked on the sidewalk my shoes were so hot the heat penetrated the shoe and my feet were burning. Needless to say I got back in doors. I have been to Vegas many times on business after that but never exsperienced heat like that before.

furrytexan, I lived in Fort Stockton, TX. and Richmond near Houston. It do get hot out there. The best place I ever had Barbeque was in Fort Worth, TX near the Zoo. No it wasn't any of the zoo animals, but good old fashion Texas style barbeque beef ribs. The 2nd best was in Memphis, Tn. downtown. I lived in Memphis as a teenager and watched Elvis play and sing his songs as well as give Cadillacs away. Rik Riley

Staying off topic for a while I remember one day at Fort Worth Meacham Field nearly 20 years ago (in February) when the mercury hit 100F.

Little did I know at the time that the Roswell alien bodies and debris had been transported through Meacham or maybe Carswell back in 1947.

I still have fond memories of cowtown on Friday/Saturday nights. I swear the best fajitas I ever tasted was at a Mexican cafe halfway between cowtown and Meacham Field.

Black Ops hideaway your on, the last time I was there I stayed at the Hilton with the Star Trekies. I use to stay with friends in Vegas who were good buddies with Rich Little. Lots to see and do in Vegas but I like Reno and love Lake Tahoe if it is still there after the fire.

I used to sell a product that was mined on the border of Nevada and Utah it was in an ancient sea bed of kelp. Rik Riley
