Yes, and Juliet doesn't exactly have a great track record of being honest.

I WIN! I WIN!

HA HA HA HA HA! I knew it was a con!

Juliet was great all episode. You could pick up on her face that it was a con, especially the look of relief when she was walking away from Sayid and Sawyer.

The nail was when Jack said "She wants to get off this island more than anyone." He just stopped talking before he should have said, "And I bet you'll do anything to accomplish that."

HA HA HA! Brilliant!

However, based on what was implied, I think she may not follow everything according to Ben's plan.

5 Episodes left!

THE BEGINNING OF THE END!

OMG TEH END FTW!

so i take it you are not impressed???

why aren't you???

i must admit, this episode wasn't the best (and it could have answered more questions), but it still built and advanced the actual story / plot...

I went into this episode thinking Sayid was going to get some answers.
Instead we are left with more questions!

The losties keep getting beat and fooled, beat and fooled over and over. They get no payback.
This show just keeps on dumping more loose ends and cliff hangers with no payoff for the viewer.

Like I said this season had better have a big payoff. I don't think I have enough patience for a fourth season of a carrot being dangled in front of me.

Well its cool that it is a plot from the others to get something out of the survivors...the question is what? Sun is pregnant, perhaps they want to capture her?

I am actually quite excited for the next few episodes. They seem like they will be answering some questions shortly.

She can't leave the island until she figures out why the female others cannot have kids... this point was really emphasized in this episode.

She's there for Sun!

Remember Sun and Jin can't have kids because Jin's sterile, or something to that affect. Well we think (I did anyway) that when Sun gets pregnant that island must have cured Jin... Maybe not. Maybe the others gave her something (like they were doing to Claire when she was pregnant) and now they need her for further testing.

No matter how Sun got pregnant, Juliette is there for her... gotta be.

I'm with Umbrax here too; I was expecting more answers. When Jack starts running interference for her at the start of the episode "she'll answer if she wants too, when she wants too" I knew we were getting the shaft.

Overall, still not a bad episode...

Regards.

GREAT episode!!! I was expecting more answers though, but it was still pretty good.

How can the Others cure cancer? Why do women die after falling pregnant? Why is Juliet suddenly more attractive than Kate?

And I hope the finale is pretty good too. Its a whole YEAR until the next season...

I love the show with all the carrots dangling out in front of me. That's what makes the show so good. If we knew everything now, then who would want to watch it anymore. I think Juliette is there for Claire and Jin both. The only way off the island for her is to find out why pregnant women can't support and have a child on the island. I guess if I was her I would do anything to get back home. They plan ahead really well for the things they need to do. The only way for Juliette to even touch Claire is to gain the trust of Jack who in turn will ask for the trust from the rest of the losties. Jin will be a little harder to get to I think. Lock will be back next week and I'm curious to know what they did to him if anything. The others will be back to if I'm not mistaken. I also hope that Sayid and Sawyer get over what Juliette said to them and get a chance to question or I should say interegate her with no one around. Next week is gonna be awesome and I'm ready and waiting for the next surprise the show throws at us.

the previews most likely caused you to believe this, right???

yes, there is a tendency for the viewers to be misguided because of the previews...

usually, the losties don't make good decisions...

This show just keeps on dumping more loose ends and cliff hangers with no payoff for the viewer.

each mystery will be revealed in due time...

Like I said this season had better have a big payoff. I don't think I have enough patience for a fourth season of a carrot being dangled in front of me.

as viewers, we don't know if it even is a carrot...

the answers can be anything...

be patient and enjoy the ride...

the journey is more important than the start or the end...

its probably very important for the others to examine aaron, as he was one of the only children to be born on the island (besides alex and ben)...

I am actually quite excited for the next few episodes. They seem like they will be answering some questions shortly.

me too...

they all seem like they are going to be one hell of a ride...

yup...

if she believes that she can actually leave the island, she will do anything to return home...

She's there for Sun!

her and maybe aaron...

it is possible that sun cheated on jin...

but, it wouldn't matter because, as juliet stated, the problem is with conception...

i understand where you two are coming from...

i love this show for the actual plot and the characterization, not for the answers that i may get (although answers would be great)...

i don't think so...

i have high hopes for this finale...

mystery can never hurt...

i was actually surprised that they stopped so easily...

this shows that juliet is great at manipulation (just as ben is)...

hehehe... I did get pretty jealous. Stupid Goodwin, if he wasn't already pushing daisies....

There are cases of immune systems becoming hypersensitive and turning against the body. These cases can kill, but only in the most extreme cases.
Juliet did mention that the white blood cells see the embryo as a foreign body which is how the process begins.
The only ambiguity is that we don't know exactly when the Sickness begins to attack the foetus. Juliet said it was after conception but we don't know how long afterward.
And didn't Danielle give birth on the Island or was Alex born just before she got there.

Desmond sees the series of events that are about to happen. I wonder if the losties are smart enough to plan ahead and spoil the others plans?
I also see that Hurley has a gun and looks like it accidently went off, but we'll have to wait and find out. Is that Lock with a knife opening the door where Kate is?, or is that someone else. Or is he gonna get her out?
Are the losties gonna go with what Jin is thinking " How do we know that he ( Jack ) isn't working for the others ".
I was thinking at one point that maybe the producers of Lost wanted to showed us the losties first, just to get us on thier side and like them. And now their showing flashbacks of the others like Juliette and so on. Who's right and who's wrong? The losties did some bad things of their own before crashing on the island. Just blows my mind thinking about all this. I guess that's why the show's name is Lost.

I was talking with a fellow Lostie and I was speculating what the layer above what is happening now on the island, the layer we cant see yet consists of. Ben isnt the "man" - he answers to another and might be that there are more in the upper echelons we can only imagine about. Gotta be some off island buttons being pushed here.

I like how damn methodical the others are written. Nothing is done without reason or purpose. As screwed up as they are they seem to be able to accomplish just about anything they want when they want to. They can "improvise" on the spot very well too. They are like Cylons - they have a plan.... but we all know what happens to plans..

It's obvious Jack is playing Juliet. There'll be a big "twist" when Juliet realises she's fallen into Jack's trap, and not the other way around.

Agreed. It's not that they're not revealing anything at a rapid pace but that it's so obvious they're dragging the show out.

If the plot ain't moved forward dramatically by the end this will be my last season with Lost. ABC sure know how to kill a potentially good show, milk it for all it's worth until you forget why it was good in the first place.

No one kid themselves that it's the creators choice to stretch this show out so much, ABC will push them to keep the show going and going and drag it out as long as it lines their pockets.
