Heroes (Season One)

ImJaded, whatever you do, don't read this whole thread. It's chock full of spoilers and stuff. The show is much better when you don't expect it.

One thing you could do though is have a friend here TiVo it, then burn it to a DVD. That way you can watch as many episodes in a row as possible. If you have a computer, there are other ways to get the episodes, but I'm not at liberty to discuss here.

Yeah that is what they do. They block IPs from regions that the show hasn't aired yet.

I believe I am aware of the other 'means' you hint at and I may take that route if I get desperate enough lol I am itching for the next episode already though.

You should wait, in all honesty. By the time it is finished airing in your country, the new episodes would have started here, meaning you won't have to wait to see the conclusion to the big ending of Season 1.

Be sure to watch the Golden Globes on Monday night.
Heroes to Present at Golden Globes

Heroes is one of the best shows out there right now! just one question. at the very end of his vison in the last episode of season one when they were all running and stuff were was everyone else. The bomb didnt hit yet so where were all the people??? hiding?

Peter saw himself go nuclear, they were trying to get away from him.

It is not a literal vision of the future. It was just meant to show which key players are going to be there when the explosion happens.

This show is just a cheap rip off of The 4400, i tried to watch it but i can't stand it.

MySpace has this clip of Hiro and Ando in the museum examining and discussing the sword and the possible meaning of the symbol.

Something tells me that the samurai that Hiro was describing in the drawing will be shown to be him in the past. After all, where else would he learn to use it like a samurai

Yeah, I thought so at first too. But I honestly think the writing, and story are better on heroes than on the 4400.

but, still, 'lost' is the only show i watch as it airs on television...

Wow. Last night's episode was pretty twisty. Just hen we think that Hiro has his sword...
I really noticed he is losing is accent. A few of his lines he spoke quite clearly.

You know......somethings bugging me.......


This Linderman character.......he seems to infest the episodes (you don't see him....but everything is based around him)

Is Linderman on the list ?? my bet is ..Yes he is !! The time is coming when we will meet this man....and I bet it will be big ! My guess is that Linderman has a power (unknown as of now..) and his power is what made him rich and powerful.

Only time will tell........Umbrax....any ideas ?

I bet Linderman is on that list too. What is gift could be is anyones guess.
Answering these questions may lead to knowing what his power may be.

Why does he have Hiro's sword? Does Linderman know it is special and gives him power like it would for Hiro?

How did he know Issac could paint the future?

Who else does he know has powers? Is this why he is involved with the Petrells?

Well, Linderman was friends with the Patrelli bros father. And, I believe it's been shown that these are genetic traits passed down from parent to child. Maybe Papa Patrelli and Linderman both had powers, and that's why they were close.

In an earlier episode their mother talked about their father having "delusions of grandeur". Maybe they weren't delusions at all.

I think the Trex/Hiro moment was lacking.

In the painting, Hiro has a SWORD, not a butterknife in a scabbard.

Continuity glitch? Or is Hiro going to actually face that Dinoin a future episode? I lean toward the former.

Other than that one hiccup, the episode was fantastic. Did anyone see the promo during Deal or No Deal?

Ted is in a cabin when he gets an IM from an user called Wireless. He is not connected to the internet and the signals are coming from a woman that can interact with digital media and the internet with her mind.

She is in the cabin with him and tells him they are the same and asks him if he wants to join her in.. (not a direct quote but something to this effect) make them pay, or get them back, or something.. I dont recall.. I bet there is a video about it on youtube or something..

I totally missed that part. I did see Ted training to throuw fireballs though, that was dope.

Also, wassup with the invisible man?It looks like PP will team up with him, but do you think he'll turn into one of the heroes, or villains?

I think Peter's last vision really told him that if he is to change those events he needs to control his power (or rather control his borrowed powers).
He has no idea what to do with himself. He only came into range of Claude (the invisible man) and *poof* he was invisible too.
I think Claude will help Peter to learn how to use his gift. Claude seems to be experienced. He could be something of a mentor.
