Hey guys, don't even bother feeding that thing, it's just silly and you're giving him what he wants, to dearil this topic:

So again, what's the word on the 2nd supposed launch of the long range bird? Did it too land in the SOJ? Do we know whta happened to it? Did they get something into orbit secretly under the guise of failure?

I think if we've got stuff like the Z machine, HAARP with it's public stated capability of ionizing the upper atmosphere, and a few other high energy projects going on that are KNOWN, i believe the black projects will already have some kind of directed energy weapon available. I mean, how hard would it be even to take it out with directed EMP? Could a narrow focused beam of the right frequency radar/microwave disrupt the missile in flight?

I haven't really seen anything confirming they launched more than one of that type-o-dong...i thought the rest were not long range, the "no dongs" (they have to know how funny that is to us).

It would have to fly first, their missile technology sucks @ss. They don't even have guidance systems at this point so it's like shooting a big bottle rocket hoping it'll hit the house two blocks away.

Has anyone been able to work out the trajectorie for the long range (T-2) missle? It would be interesting, and perhaps important to see where the intended site was.

They all seemed to land NE of North Korea, off the coast of Russia, wouldn't their faces have been red if they hit a Russian vessel by accident...

I am going to jump in on this one and stop lurking

This might be a little off topic, maybe.

Lets say that after all the sanctions and other crap, military force is chosen.
With all the countries opposed, what determines or who determines what military force to use. What I mean is, who determines if Japan runs in there and puts a stop to this, or the U.S., China, etc.

I think the UN would make the call, but I don't think all that would be necessary depending on China of course. I'm quite sure they could put a stop to it with no military force at all if they really wanted to...

Agree. Are they not the only ones trading with them right now?
If so, man, all they have to do is shut them out of trade. Who knows. Everyone is so unpredictable.

Well yeah, they are the only ones giving them handouts is probably a bit more appropriate, although I think they trade with a few other countries, I don't think they have alot to trade....

I just can't see China really giving that big a crap about NK, they don't have alot to offer China...but China may use them as leverage on the Taiwan issue, who knows. They offer to put a lid on Kim for us not interfering with the reunification, we'd both be turning our backs on those we pledged to help but the world is a nasty place sometimes....

Come on now, you don't really think Bush is religious do you? He is so full of crap it's coming out his ears, I don't think Bush worships anything other than money and power, and I don't think Kim actually believes his mother was a panda or however that story goes. Both are self centered little turds who manipulate people, somehow, into believing they believe in more than themselves, IMO.

yeah you prety much just described a religious fanatic like bush to a tee.

Maybe, but the difference between a true religious fanatic, and lying turds is a fanatic actually believes they talk to god, and are usually willing to sacrifice themselves if they think it's necessary. Neither Kim or Bush would sacrifice themselves or their power for anything...

CNN reports that a seventh missile launch has occured. Only 1 long range missile was ever attempted and that failed, the other 6 are of shorter range.

China is in favor of a lightly worded condemnation of NK for the missile tests.

United Kingdom, France, Japan, America and i think South Korea want a resolution that puts sanctions against technology or any of other equipment that results in North Korea using for military purpose.

China, is still, against any sanctions on North Korea that will result in tensions being made even higher.

I have a few questions;

When the media says NK's big missle can reach 6,000 and they show a graphinc of it, are they taking into account that the world isnt flat? Is there a big difference between 6,000 miles on a piece of paper and 6,000 on a ball? Does my question make sense?

Next question; Are NK's missles 0 for 7 on getting to a pre-planned point? Wether US technology played a hand in these missle flops or not, I'd say that NK's technology is threat zero to the US. This is what we're all worked up about? They are going to nuke us? ROTFLMAO! Maybe they will be able to in the year 2106. By that time, we will be so far ahead in missle interception technology..........well, you get the picture.

Is this the technology that Bill Clinton is accussed of letting NK have access to? If thats true, one has to wonder if the US didnt leave out afew key items in the cookbook.

Is there any possibility that the US used radio waves and/or lasers, ect. to give NK a bad day?

Exactly what time did the space shuttle go up and exactly what time did the first NK missle go up? Using GMT as the time zone....

Was Ken Lay's death reported before or after missle #7? And does NK appreciate how that event will take media attention away from him?

Has anyone outside the US ever heard of Enron? (It relates to Ken Lay.)

Has anyone been able to figure out where these missles might have been headed had they not dudded out?

I know at least two of these questions have already been asked. Sorry, Im not trying to steal anyone's thunder.

I might have to call a local radio station and dedicate "Bad Day" to the leader of NK.

Their missle capabilities seem laughable. Rather then threaten the US with nuclear attack (a joke in and of itself), NK should wonder more if any such missle can even clear their own borders.

More questions; whats let to embargo? They dont have food. They dont have energy. Their rocket technology is as accurate as something similiar from the WWII era. So whats left to embargo?

Finally, who are NK's closest allies? That would be an interesting list to review? And do we know if any countries are dealing with NK using not so legal back water channels?

If I lived in Alaska and I was worried about NK, I'd be breathing a sigh of relief. Inbetween chuckles.

The report on the tv made it seem like the plans were definite. I'm waiting for some more online reports...

Why the barf? That's a good thing, hopefully we never need to.

My guess is Iran's president is gonna get jealous of all the attention Kim is getting and pull something soon. It's like two misbehaved children competing for attention, hopefully neither makes us pull this car over...

well, now russia and china are both againts sanctions.
I suck at politics, so I dont know if this is good or bad.
But my question is this. China and Russia want to talk, diplomacy.
Well, how do you get someone to talk this out that keeps leaving the talks.
It is like pulling on a rubberband, sooner or later something has to give and the band breaks. How can we keep these people from leaving talks. Should the administration be the better person and step up and say, "ok kim, lets talk this out"? Is that a bad move? Like I said, I am no politician, but when I see the administration constantly saying, no we dont want to talk, you need to talk to everyone else when NK is asking for us, why not just step up to the plate and say, ok lets talk this out. Same for Iran.

For example, Bush has that Japanese PM over the other day. Went to Graceland and everything. I am sure they talked business in the days they were there. Why cant we do that with NK and Iran. Sure we dont agree with everything, but maybe us stepping up could really ease things a bit. I could be way off and if I am please explain to me why this would be a bad idea.

If Kim were to supposedly strike Japan or South Korea, does he not realize that retaliation would be swift and lethal? Would he be that naive and stubborn to risk his reign and more importantly his life? If this were to happen I would truly be dumbfounded. I’m not the least bit worried that North Korea will strike the US or any of its allies. Further more, even if we arrange a treaty with North Korea, they will eventually later betray us, as shown by prior deals made with them. If this were to happen I would truly be dumbfounded. I believe that the missiles are all for show as of now.
I have also been thinking about China. Why would they not want to sanction? It’s not like halting trade with NK would affect China economically. Perchance there is more to China’s stance on the issue than meets the eye.

I agree, China's stance is kind of freaking me out. Russia to.
In my OPINION, there is something going on there. Maybe it is me just being paranoid, but maybe they are begining an anti-american stance as well. Only time will tell.
