Jeeves, I'll have an iced vanilla chai tea. Yes, on whaaa's tab.

Howdy, E_B. I think everyone, besides whaaa, is in a slump. That negativity stuff. Now, whaaa is keeping busy. In fact, he could probably be turning this negativity stuff into a screenplay or something this very moment.

So, nick. What is it about Geometry that sucks. Sucky proofs? Sucky formulas? I liked Chemistry in high school, but after spilling stuff in college chem, I didn't want to major in it. And college Biology, while interesting, just stunk too much ...all that formaldehyde. AP World History...impressive! Am Lit...learn all about it, then study world lit, either in college or on your own. WP...good...and Autos...very good, very practical.

OK, here's the story. My husband and I are driving home from the Mojave Desert Sunday afternoon. The highway over the pass is CLOSED in both directions for miles. We had to detour MILES in a crawling line of vehicles and big rigs, getting home 1 1/2 hours late!
Why? Because a windmill at one of the Tehachapi wind farms was "defective", according to the highway patrol announcement.

They were afraid the windmill would send debris for up to a mile
I pictured a wind vane stuck into a WalMart trailer lol The brake on the windmill had failed, and the turbine was free spinning, in 50mph winds! They couldn't get it under control until the wind lessened.

Anyway, when I saw the video and saw the mill blow apart, I was glad they closed the highway. I wouldn't want a ball bearing to come flying through the windshield.

BTW...the windmill was not, I repeat NOT, damaged by a UFO flying out of the Tehachapi underground complex. Or was it?....hahaha...seriously, hahaha...

Negativity? I'm against it. I'm also againt being positive. I am positively against negativity and positivity. I guess I am neutral, although I am not a big fan of neutrality.

What's the deal with the restrooms? I was in there and they have machines on the stalls now where you have to pay a quarter to have a sit down. What's going on around here? And then I go to clean up and there's another machine where I have to buy toilet paper and for another quarter. I really didn't get enough paper to take care of the whole sitch so if I scratch my butt while I'm here let me just apologize in advance.
I ran out of quarters.

YES...I was able to wash my hands. They haven't started charging to use the sink yet. I don't want to get the pig flu after all. That wicked bad "pandemic" flu.

I also don't want to get the MRSA. I wrote a song about it. Want to hear it? Here it goes:

Oh, mersa mersa me
Oh, skin's not what it used to be
No, no
Where did all the pink flesh go ?
Poison from the wind that blows
From the something something....

That's what I have so far anyway. Is that in bad taste?

Ooooh, that made my skin crawl!

Psssssst...E_B, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Of course, you may pass it on to all the regulars here, you being a regular guy and all. Here's how to get around all those new restroom fees....

Under this short, tight dress is....ta da!...my bathing suit! You see, when I excuse myself to go to the ladies room, I just go for a quick dip in the pool or spa.

Now, for the other....well, Jeeves hasn't noticed that our beloved Lounge Noir cat, Livermush, disappeared, so he faithfully scoops out the litter box in the storeroom. I collect all the unused bar napkins before I leave each time, and I drop them off by the litter box, second shelf, for use at a later time.
Oh, here's another secret. On the top shelf is a bag of saltines and a plastic knife. You wouldn't believe how tasty that Fancy Fest cat food is! Jeeves places a good size scoop every day in the cat bowl, varying the various flavors. I convinced Jeeves that Livermush prefers Dom Perignon in his water bowl, so the champagne flutes are behind the saltines.

I tell you, E_B, this is a classy joint!

*sits down with a cup of coffee*
Good morning every body!!!

Yeah, well basically everything in geometry sucks. It's a boring class, with lots of annoying people in it. I understand some of it but some of it just doesn't make much since. And it doesn't help that my teacher actually goes over and grades the homework, instead of just giving us points for doing it
.

Chemistry well that's just boring, and I usually only understand whats going on if I actually pay attention in class and do the readings and such. But that can be a really hard thing sometimes. And I think I might of failed the test we took on Friday.

And besides that my classes aren't that bad, I guess they're pretty advanced for a sophomore, but when I apply myself it's not that bad!!!

And that's a pretty amazing story about the windmill. Up in Wisconsin there are a lot of windmills once you get out of the cities, and I sure hope that never happens when I'm going near one. I'm not too sure if that has ever happened in Wisconsin yet, but you never know.

In my track meet on Thursday I got 2nd in the mile, and I spent most of yesterday night helping at the home track meet. And now I have another meet on monday, so yeah track has been pretty busy lately.

Here's some good music for yall!!!

Nick...what up? As far as life and your studies, figure out what your strengths are and work hard in those areas. Don't focus on weaknesses and don't try to improve your weaknesses. Improve on your strengths and your weaknesses will end up showing some improvement. But never try ti improve weaknesses. It is a waste of time. We all need to play to our strengths and put our strengths to work.

2nd in the mile! Good job. YOu're only a sophmore and you have two more years to go. Get stronger and if you really like running, put all you have into it. Be passionate about it. Otherwise, why bother?

My lecture for the day. I've been doing that a lot lately. Sorry everyone if I have become annoying that way....

Now everyone: pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

I like that! I like that a lot! E_B, you are THE motivational speaker here at LN!
You know, that advice could work for nations, too.

nick, congrats on the 2cd in the mile!

I saw AccessDenied around this morning. Don't worry AD, all our meals here are inspected for snakes. If they're not supposed to be on the platter, they're not. But if we serve rattlesnake, by golly, it's the best around.

And...I found out that whaaa plays the dobro!

nick...sconnie nation territory...Wisconsin is one state I have not been in. There are soooo many beautiful places. I would love to have the lakes you have. Glad to hear there's windpower there.

I think the desert season is over for MrD and I...the heat (94+) versus fun activity graphs have crossed. We would need another generator to run our AC for the hottest part of the day, maybe next year.

Jeeves, another iced vanilla chai to go!

*glitches in and heads over to the jukebox. Picks song #157*

Indigo Eyes by Peter Murphy...

Fire burning in a hill
The lines are rocky rough
Red angels wait to pick remains
The cindered shoulder
Of confused men
Seperate from their awe
With grey desire
He looks out mad
His soft grey indigo eyes
Indigo eyes ...
Asking

His heaven is uncovered not
A black tree blocks his way
His way is skating round a dome
(His way is in dismay)
The playmate sings
Like Orphee in some thunder world
Asking to be bathed in light
To be exemplified

With grey desire he looks out mad
His soft grey indigo eyes

Saw his past
He had dug for trust
With blind infected hands
And wondered as the hurt bit hard
Why the sacred weren't at hand
Only when his ears were deaf
To the angels light burst waves
Only when his ears were deaf
Did life turn from fog to fog
But not evil but estranged
But not evil but estranged

Indigo eyes, Indigo eyes
Indigo eyes, Indigo eyes

With grey desire
He looks out mad
His soft grey
Indigo eyes
Indigo eyes

Hold the snake please..unless you want me to run screaming for the hills..
(major phobia). If I even see the tail end of a garden snake you'd think I saw an anaconda.
So what's new guys and dolls????
It's another sunny day here in Canuckistan, and I just might venture outdoors and away from the computer.
OMG!!! did I just say that...
quick call a doctor..I must be very ill....:shk:

Hey, AD!!
Wow, I was going to clink glasses with you, but I see those cute little things are gone
What are we left to here...clinking
?

CHEERS!

Anyway, the noise level at LN seems to have gone up. What the hell is all that muttering going on in the background? We'll have to talk louder now.

Well I just got back from another track meet!!! This is like the 5th track meet I've had in the last 7 days
. But track's going to be over next week so I guess this is just the last stretch before the end. And yeah, the distance coach left for paternal reasons, so now we have no distance coach. And we have to do sprint workouts, which sucks. But besides that things have been just dandy in track.

Also I have the AP exam tomorrow, which I haven't studied at all for. But I guess it doesn't really matter because this is only going for college credit not for an actual grade. But I'm pretty confident about it, I've passed all the other test in the class without studying. So I'm sure I'll be fine
. Except for the essays I suck at essays
.

That's, actually seems like a pretty good philosophy!!! But I still haven't decided what I want to do with my life. I've been thinking about something computers, because I've always been pretty good with them. It's just I've heard that there is usually a lot of math involved, and I'm not to good at that. So who knows I'll probably end up deciding in college.

Wisconsin is great, you should really come and see it sometimes. I know a lot of people put it off as just boring farm country, but there are actually a lot of great places here.

Just look at the area off my grandpa's farm.

Oh look desert, you're a novice and I'm a Solid. They can take this ****ing rating system and stick it where the sun don't shine for all I'm concerned. What a huge crock of BS. Barkeep mix up a huge crock of something powerful for me and my friends. I smell revolution in the air and were gonna need some fuel. Hoist the black flag!!

I don't have enough flags to qualify for any of the ratings.

But I like it that way, now I don't have some stupid thing on my profile saying I'm a novice or solid or whatever.
