I will agree that the Us helped Europe, but from a business point of view and to an extent of a weaponary point of view, without the EU the US would drop within 20 years to the level of a developing economy such as India or South Africa. Who said this you may ask, of course the obvious answer is a European but no it was an American. Without our help the Us would but crippled in the "War Against Terror". You use our airbases, refueling tankers, tanks, troop transport, your tanks are ship to Iraq using European tankers(there are Americans ones too). So I say don't look to Europe as some ignorant state, we have more spending power than the US all great scientists and thinks are European. Remember America needs Europe more than Europe needs America
