You did a great job Chissler - could have won it as well as the rest of us. All it takes is one judge to tip the scale - and it's hard to say what might have tipped it one way or another. Your debate was a close one and I thought both of you did a tremendous job. It's great to watch good debators really go at it. Also, keep in mind that being considered "young blood" in this environment, based only on your registration date and debate history in this forum alone, is quite a disadvantage. The judges are more likely to know the old guard or have a lingering bias regarding their abilities, so you have to outperform that much more to win. So keep that in mind and keep hitting the punching bags. Hope to see you back here again!
