the monthly meetings are like board meetings for any small corporation. The degrees is where all the fun stuff happens. Nothing evil, or satanic, but it is magical.

I'm sure there are more than just these 5 Lodges that are or were numbered "148", but there is no relevance there. Masonic leaders come from various Lodges throughout that jurisdiction. I guess I'll have to visit Zarthan Lodge next time I am in WA (I go there every few months) and go see the magic of "148".
