I had intended to go back but I see he has a lot of stuff now on the pyramid and as he is off in his own section I never put it back on my favorites list

Just read his thread zorgon.
He only discusses the placement of the three pyramids at Giza.
Will now do a Google search and a search of my archives to try and find out what the significance of that site I found is, (if any).
Will also try and find out of anyone else has bothered to overlay the star map of Orion on Giza and if, what they came up with, in regards to Betelgeuse.

This research is getting better and leading down dramatic paths!!!

THANKS AGAIN undo, for starting this thread. It is greatly appreciated!

And as a side note, undo, don't worry about any 'unlearned' persons trying to hijack or unrail this thread.
If they want some action send them my way.

All good things to you, undo.

LOL! Well the stargate movie and tv shows help a bit but then again, they don't, since their presence in popular media tends to make the topic look fictional. but then when i was a kid, i thought dick tracy's cool watch would never be a reality! who woulda thought we could advance technology to the point where people could talk on phones so small without a cord, and play games over the internet on them? flip 'em open like kirk's communicator and talk to people on the other side of the planet with crystal clear sound. all while cooking food in 1 minute in your microwave that would've taken an hour to do conventionally....

and these things function on basic scientific principles that have ALWAYS been present. we didn't invent science so to assume no one in the billions of years of history didn't have the same understanding or even more understanding, is well, sillier than me

the story says that isis was the one that had the obelisks built and if you follow the story of the dismemberment of osiris, she constructed him an artificial phallus after he died, which is represented by the obelisks.

I thought that..

The obelisk symbolized the sun god Amon Re, and during the brief religious reformation of Akhenaten was said to be a petrified ray of the Aten, the sundisk. It was also thought that the god existed within the structure.

Link

I have been doing allot of research into sun god worship and this is one of the things I remembered reading.

Am I misunderstanding you?

Yeh, that was in response to undo's post:

i think this thread is starting to attract negative attention from someone who has decided to make the topic of portals an unpopular topic amongst ufology community. i have no clue why. this isn't a clique-ish thread. it's not a cult. and it certainly isn't set in stone. i don't know any of the people in it except zorgon and i only know him because of his interest in the topic. this thread is its own phenomenon because the subjects of ancient history and modern science are starting to merge.

Sorry if i confused you

yeah, there's also the story attached to osiris-isis thing. she built obelisks and had them erected where she had supposedly found each part of osiris' dismembered body. the story goes that set chopped osiris up into 14 pieces and spread the chopped up pieces all over egypt. isis then hunted down all the pieces of osiris' body and put him back together, but she couldn't find his phallus because it was eaten by an oxyrhyncus fish who then swam out to sea. so she fashioned him a fake one and became impregnated by it. anyway, as she found each part of his body, she built an obelisk to commemorate the site. people then worshipped at the sites, which were strewn along the nile and in various famous places of the time. this, of course, is connected to sun worship as well. but i think the original story was expounded upon and that it was originally a real event regarding some of these egyptian deities

UNDO i'm now on page 60 still in 2007 and this stuff is great, my word your quite the intellectual scholar of some ancient history there!

i can see your frustration at having your work stolen i say you should of made money out of the info by putting your work in print, i for one would buy a book.

ZORGON knows he has my respect to just so ya know, a question please, what do you think the Vatican's stance is on stargate's because from what i have read there is a great deal of parallels drawn between ancient sumerian text and biblical text.

after all this does boil down to the book of revelation to a degree.

i wish my Egyptian knowledge was as good as yours as i get a little confused with the constant back and forth name changes and description changes. i like pictures, most of your links still work but only a few of zorgons now.

cant wait to catch up and read the FREE E books.excellent work.

Thanks I figured that was the case.
Its weird how there are obelisk everywhere now. Washington DC, New York, England, Vatican City and the list goes on.

I'm still puzzled as to why there would be one in Vatican City considering its a symbol of sun god worship.

Sorry for derailing..

I think undo is talking about a much earlier time Digital Reality.
Akhenaten is a strange subject to pick. He was the one who introduced a single God worship cult and expelled all the priests of On.
He worshiped the Aten or the "Rays of the Sun' as opposed to the "Sun Disk'.
These events, with Isis / Osiris occured much earlier.

Yeah, I'm still trying to wrap my head around it all. Interesting though. The more I read the more I see similarities as this thread has pointed out.
