his big contribution is to assume that my ability to access a sumerian dictionary for use in word translation is evidence that i don't have one clue what i'm talking about as regards the language. and that's only one facet of it. not to mention the etymological dictionaries, the concordances for hebrew, aramic and greek. the rest of the research, such as the translated texts from oxford university... that's all useless data because i don't know how to read the original language verbatim.

so yeah, a troll.

The thread is dead because noone knows what they are talking about, noone knows sumerian, egyptian, akkadian etc etc. It shouldnt be in the UFOlogy board even. You are searching for the secrets of man's history and you dont even bother to learn the languages? That tells me you are lazy and your conclusions will most likely be wrong (which they are)

We all have an open mind here.
Enlighten us, please. I'm all ears, present your explanations, ideas, research in that area.

you have an example where it's wrong? what post contains the first noticeable error? perhaps then i can provide you with the train of thought that lead me to that conclusion.

Why dont you post on some well regarded archaeology or ancient history site (or more likely mailing list lol) where people really know their stuff. Dont tell them about UFOs. Then see how far you get. I am not on this board to talk about ancient history.

the problem is mainstream historians/archaeologists refuse to accept biblical texts as historically accurate except in the pursuit of archaeological sites. it's a double standard but this is the way of things, apparently

That's because they are inaccurate, and the fact that you think they are is a problem. Their chronologies are all wrong and it's only by cross referencing with other texts and archaeology that we can reconstruct the real chronology of events. This is still a big area of debate, there must be some great threads on archaeology sites.

Ok so stargates are inconclusive, what isn't?!

We should work together more instead of fighting. Let's discuss, not bitch!

All of us present information. Then we'll all check it and possibly follow it up. I'm going to Peru next year so it would be interesting to go there and check it out.

Has anyone thought of the possibility that we're all just being played? For instance, what if UFO's and the stories of Area 51 are just a ploy? What if Area 51 housed a stargate?

I mean, who cares about UFO's? So what? They can fly?! The technology is being developed by scientists now! What is much more interesting and worth keeping a secret are stargates and ways to move through the dimensions.
