China fears a US nuclear strike

Ahh yes, getting back on topic.

Yes.. China fears a US nuclear strike, but wouldnt the US also fears a Chinese nuclear strike?... For God's sake, who doesn't fear a nuclear strike on their own land.

It just really angers me when some people think that America is invincible because they control more nukes then China while completely ignoring the fact that China has it's own nuclear arsenal with the ability to nearly destroy the United States. People laugh and say that America would obliterate China if they ever invaded Taiwan, WIHLE COMPLETELY IGNORING THE FACT that America would be obliterated alongside with China.

I'm just urging people to look at it with that viewpoint before making childish comments like that.

I KNOW for near certain, that the US would not have a nuclear strike on China for Taiwan... It's already known that the US will not use nuclear weapons unless being used upon themselves... Why the hell are people even contemplating the use of nuclear weapons against China? What are you people willing to risk losing MILLIONS of American lives for? Democracy in Taiwan?

I live next russia and I know they have equvaly advanced misiles, aircraft fighters,bombers and russian version of area51 and Roswell!!Only diference is that they are selling that technologies to every one who wants it!Especialy to China!!I was in Demededova(largest russian aircraft facility)and workers there said that their have more work than before in Sowiet Union!!Why??They simply are exporting products!! The old philosophy that you have a billion people and that even with nukes, your country survives does not persuade me, nor that having thousands of nuclear weapons in America's arsenal is a testimony that America can do anything. We are force to fight wars where we can't use any nuclear weapons because of fear. Fear because of self preservation. For both sides for that matter. China knows that America can easily wiped out China's population, culture, history, etc. Even with over a billion people. For America, we always see on tvs about the destructiveness of the nuclear bomb and imagine how it would affect us, how it would so suddenly change our lives forever. Its just like MAD for both sides. Resemblance to the Cold war rivalry between the Soviets and the Americans.

Nothing like blind patriotism. The US has done a lot of good in the world but has also done some really terrible things here. I'm from Canada, and we take so much slack for not spending billions and billions to beef up our military to fight the war on terrorism. Well you know what we've never had a terrorist attack on our country. Why, because most of the world views us as a peace keeping nation. We took tonnes of flack for not signing up for missile defense. Well the only reason nukes would be flying over Canadian airspace is because they would be heading to the US from some country the US pissed off. Terrorists are not going to possess ICBMs so why waste our money.

China has a poor Human Rights record sure, there is no doubt about that. But the US record isn't all sunshine either. Look at the civil rights movement. How many people got beat down, killed or imprisoned for the sole reason of wanting equal rights as their white breatheren.

Stop toting the American party line, think for yourselves for a change.

I am from Canada too and I don't agree with your comments. Terrorists don't view Canada as a peace keeping nation and it is probably only a matter of time when some event occurs. Also, we probably should 'beef' up our military. Ours is rediculous as the moment.

Chinas arsenal is about 23-25 DF-5/A and about 13 DF-31.

I dont even want to imagine what 20 nukes would do to a country let alone hunderds or thousands. Think about just the 20 largest and most imporant cities in any country being wiped out over night.

China has enough nukes to make any country a over night 3rd world mess including the US and Russia. People would surivive in countries that size but Id rather be nuked to death then have to live in a third world radioactive mess of a country.

Why would China want to fight america. Nancy Pelosi recently said that the American economy would collapse if China just stopped to "think" about buying our bonds.

We gave control of the Panama canal to China a few short years ago.

While we were giving control of the Panama canal to china, American politicans on the Defense appropriations committee were selling our nuclear missle guidance system technology to china for campaign cash.
Congressmen Cox and Dicks chaired a investigation and issued a report that said the guilty parties should be EXECUTED for treason. The names of the guilty congressmen on the defense committee were blacked out- more than the first 100 pages were blacked out of the report. Nobody even got arrested. The story faded away.

Last year congress gave almost 160 million dollars to a British company to help china improve their nuclear capabilities. You can read that story in a book to be released next month titled "Hostile takeover"

Now the UAE is going to take control of some of Americas seaports because our G-men cut a deal to keep bases in the UAE. The UAE is home to the financiers of Al Qaeda and the former mujahadeen fighters from the russian/afghan war.

The American Government has successfully carried out the demise of america. And the really sad part is that it's too late to do anything about it.
americans can't even vote the bums out because the vote is rigged anymore. Votes are going to be touch screened all across the country soon. the computer program that counts the votes is easily program manipulated. Who was it that said " i care not who runs against me so long as i can count the votes."
