Fist of all, this administration has already spoken with Cindy Sheehan, get you facts straight and spare us the cynical sarcasm. There is also a clear difference between grief and saddens, and using you situation to become a politic tool and mouth piece for the far left.

Yes I am aware that she had spoken to the President on one occassion before. I do not recall having said she had not spoken with him; only that she wanted to speak to him now. So what fact did I not have straight?

She has said in the past that she was overcome with grief, it was not long after her son had died that she and her family met with the President. There are five different stages of grief and anger is one of them, and while some might go through that stage early many do not. It is reasonable to assume that anyone going through what she was going through might a few years later have a different frame of mind about things and have new questions.

I personally think it is despicable that he can't take the time to meet with her or any parent or spouse of someone who lost their life in this war or was maimed in this war. How many vacations has he had now?

When was that? During the Salem witch trials?

You are going to have to back that one up okay. When is this great time in history you speak of? I assume we were still hanging people from trees, keeping the women at home and blacklisting anyone that did not agree with whoever was in power, right?

Seriously executed? I don't think we were ever as horrible as you described here. You must have us confused with China or Russia.

LoL, She got arrested for wearing an anti-war t-shirt. How Stupid can one person be. She needs to get over this thing she is on it's sad. She also should be thrown out of the U.S. after her vacation with Hugo Chavez, I think she is pathetic and a disgrace to the country and all the men and women fighting for freedom. And to her son, I bet if he knew what she was doing he'd slap her.

Goose,

The President meets with hundreds of families; including Ms. Sheehan. How many times do you think a person should meet with a President? Anytime they want? That would take up a great deal of time.

Also, why should the President meet with a woman who insults him in a very vulgar, and base fashion?

And exactly how is she a traitor? Exercising her right to free speech?

Exactly how? Specifically. What specifically has she done that proves she's a traitor? Or should we just hang her from a tree because people don't like her? Or maybe people don't like her because she's a genuine threat to this administration that's come along in a while? Is that what's got some people foaming at the mouth, calling for her head on a platter?

She's like the Rosenbergs or a Tokyo Rose.

She should be treated in exactly the same way the Rosenbergs were, she's probably even more of a traitor to her country than they were.

Giving hope, and aid to the enemy. She is trying to kick start a movement to pull troops out of Iraq. This would give the terrorists control of Iraq an important world nation.

Exercising her right to free speech?

She does not have the right to break U.S. law.

Again, giving aid and hope to our enemies. But I do not think she should be charged as a traitor myself.

Cindy Sheehan a threat to the administration?!

Not even a tad; in fact she just keeps helping President Bush!

What vulgarity are you talking about? If the other families are satisfied with what he said fine for them, but she is not and has requested to see him again. That seems reasonable to me since he is the first to stand there and rattle those bones of the dead from this war and talk about them not dying invain. He is the first to talk about sacrifice but its always others sacrifice that he means. He can't even take the time to meet with this mother of a fallen soldier. And as to the freedoms this soldier and so many others have died for; his mother gets arrested for wearing an anti-war shirt. What freedom?

If you truly believe that than you are insane. Or are just plain evil. You choose.

Half the people in the US are guilty of the same thing she's doing. Right?

My suspicion is that she just speaks her mind and you guys don't like what she has to say. If she's not a threat, then what's the problem?

Long Live Free Speech!!! (unless, of course, some don't like what you say)

The U.S. Constitution defines the crime of treason thusly:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.

U.S. Constitution

It'd be hard to say that she's actually levying War against these United States; however an easy case can be made for giving her Enemies Aid and Comfort:

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez urged activists around the world on Sunday to protest against U.S. dominance and the war in Iraq, saying: "Down with the U.S. empire!"
....
He spoke with his arms wrapped around the shoulders of visiting American peace activist Cindy Sheehan, whose son was killed in Iraq, and Elma Beatriz Rosado, the widow of slain Puerto Rican nationalist Filiberto Ojeda Rios.

Source: CNN

Echoing the accusations of musician Harry Belafonte and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan on Monday wondered aloud whether President Bush is "10 times the bigger terrorist than Osama bin Laden."

GOPUSA.com

There are so many more examples...if you care a damned bit about the U.S. Constitution, you should be calling for the immediate execution of this person!

Incorrect. Half of the people in the United States are not guilty of protesting inside the capital.
