WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Cindy Sheehan said she will be part of the live audience during the president's State of the Union speech to congress Tuesday.
Bay Area Congresswoman Lynn Woosley gave anti-war activist a gallery pass late Tuesday
The Link.
It should be noted that she also stated that President Bush was "...sincere about wanting freedom for the Iraqis...I know he's sorry and feels some pain for our loss. And I know he's a man of faith."
On August 6, 2005, Sheehan met with two high-level Bush administration officials, National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley and Deputy White House Chief of Staff Joe Hagin. According to The New York Times (August 6, 2005) the meeting lasted 45 minutes. The Times also reported that Ms. Sheehan told the two officials she appreciated their meeting with her. After the interview she said, "I think they thought I'd be very impressed and intimidated that these two high-level officials came to talk to this little grieving mother, and that I'd leave."
What did she do, have the nerve to ask to speak to the president who wants to go on with his life while her son lies dead in his grave?

Uhm..Cindy Sheehan is not a world event of major importance, and like her, this story isn't interesting or noteworthy in any way, that I can tell.
I don't like her, but to my credit, I do a much better job of ignoring her than most of you partisans. I mean, for Christ's sake, if you dislike the woman so much, why do you give her so much free advertising?

Her son would probably be embarrased to know his mother was arrested for protesting after he gave his like for his country. He even reenlisted, so this is not a person who did not want to be there.

She should be executed for the crimes she committed tonight

She should be executed for the crimes she committed tonight, then she can join her son, maybe that'd make her happy. I know it'd make me happy.

The last time I checked she had a constitutional right to say how she felt.
