I feel we're in an information vacuum here. I'd wait until we have more confirmed sources before drawing any conclusions.
On Friday morning, doctors will perform a CT scan on the premier's brain, to check his condition. However, only on Sunday will doctors try to revive Sharon from his induced coma to determine the effects of the hemorrhage for the first time since it happened.
Mor-Yosef said that said Sharon's pupils were responding to light, "which means the brain is functioning."

Man, I'd love to be in Pat's head for just a few hours. What a ride that'd be.
So if a child has a stroke are they suffering the wrath as well? What about cancer? My wifes aunt died from cancer. I wonder what she did to piss god off? I wish Robertson would piss god off....

I find it odd that people are saying that there is no one who could replace Sharon. Shimon Peres moved to Kadima along with Sharon, he is more than capable of being Israel's PM. The Nobel Peace Prize recipient along with Yitzhak Rabin, why would he not be able to be Israel's leader once more? Even Netanyahu would be able to lead the Israeli people regardless of how hardline he is.
