I'll say again, earthquakes in the Caribbean scares me. I hate to imagine the devastation of the West Indies if the Caribbean sea was have a major quake followed by a tsunami.

There was just a 3.0 at Mount Saint Helens.

Strongest they've had there in a while.....

It almost seems that when there are solar flares, the amount of earthquakes rises.
I wonder if anyone has done any studies on it?

We are being bombarded with the Global Warming scenario, but in reality our higher temperatures, and thus, unsettled weather patterns are caused from solar flares...something we can do nothing about.

I'm not sure if the quake's epicenter was right on the mountain, but it must have been very close

YOGYAKARTA, Indonesia, May 27 (Reuters) - A strong earthquake shook Indonesia's ancient royal capital of Yogyakarta on Saturday morning, sending people fleeing from their homes and causing casualties, witnesses said.

One witness said he saw some people killed, and a hospital official told a radio station that 50 people had been admitted for treatment.
