Today, there have been so far, 24 quakes in Alaska.
Ranging from the 6.3 Hellmutt reported to smaller 2.5s and up, 15 seem to be aftershocks around Fox Island. Several more in various areas of Alaska. Seems like the Ring of Fire may be going into an active phase.

thanks for keeping the updates going Valkeryie

it would seem that something is either brewing or letting off steam on the Pacific coast of the US. The ring of fire is definitely highly active, so it's just a matter of time imo, before a chain reaction set off either Mt. St. Helen or Cali experiences a strong quake.

...and don't forget Chile. They had the strongest quake ever registered. A Mag 9.5 in 1960!

Magnitude 9.5

The Largest Earthquake in the World

They can get another one some day. That area has proved to be able to produce quakes of this magnitude.

And there is always Anchorage again, lots of little shakers going on there also.
Or even Vancouver Island, its probably due for a big one too.
