I doubted when the Capitalism came forth,what the kings and noble thought about it?Maybe
most of the persons at that time can not agreed to the Capitalism either.We also can see the
horror in the French Revolution.I am not tried to prove that the Communist is better than
the Capital,or so on.I just expressed that,most chinese people do not regard the Communist
as evil and unhuman just as you ,and you can not say:"becaouse I think it is evil,so it in

In my private opinions,maybe the Chinese now choose the Communist,some sense following the
tradition of centralization.The world Communist have much communicate with centralization in
chinese people's opinions.It not means everthing is determined by the government,or the tyrant,
while you can see someone is often criticizing the system without being arrested only because
criticize.It also not means everthing is owned by the goverment,while I and my family have own
lawful properties,being protected by the law.And,the life did have becoming much better,says my

The people there might have decided to be under the rule of government, but perhaps because not that many had the ability to learn much about the "Western" countries and the freedom and liberties we have. Is America perfect, no, as I wrote earlier; it is still a work in progress. I dislike when anyone says America is a Democracy.... we are not. Communism/Socialism/Marxism cannot exist without a "democracy" in place. The Liberal/Democraticic people here want to change America to be more like the rest of the world, instead of bringing the other countries "up" to our level of Freedom and personal Liberty. hi, everyone, I m from China and just want to say my opinions.

I m one of the " new generation" of china, born after Mao's death, no idea of the " culture revolution", no communist, speaking german and english while working,.

actually, like many other young people, I adopted many "western values", the whole china is lerning many things from western, not only the US today, also the achievements from the history of europa , I mean the politic system and the "human right" , which was ignored in the chinese history, think of the power that the emporer had. it is good that we have europa to learn from, after most chinese people accepted the mornachy and just want to get a better position within the system, not trying to make even smallest change.

however, I do believe that most chinese people will support the war, if it is because of the island (and if it is the only choice), it is important to all of us. some may keep away or even migrate, but I don't think people will blame the communist party, if they really choose a war, there are many things to complain about, but talking about Taiwan, it doesn't matter who is making decision.

I don't know wether it is easy for you to comprehend, chinese are, you could say, sensitive to such questions, maybe like a person who was always teased in the childhood, may perform differently. so unification is the head word there, most important.

I don't like war, peace is precious, but it is not only the communist who would trigger a war.

China is too busy turning itself into a rich industrial nation to want to bother about war right now, the real worry is Iran, they are fighting a holy war and are prepared to sacrifice everything for their aims, China on the other hand is not

Although i slightly agree with the last post on the fact that China is super industrializing right now. I can see how it would benifit them with Taiwan in their left pocket. I don't think that the Chinese will do anything until the U.S. does something or something or someone does something to it. Based on the fact that they know that things are just going to get worse for and the U.S. isn't going to stop sticking its nose into the whole worlds business. I do agree that Iran is the U.S. number one problem, the only thing i can't decide is that if Iran is going to be a scapegoat or the source. I never really thought the cold war ended. The U.S. never siezed to feed upon its greed for more power. And i believe that the ideals and motives that lie in the major super heated world politics are still underlying the principles of the cold war. The real question is when is the inevitable going to happen?

As a response to the statements made by the former Minister of Defense,Chi Hainoi(?) ,5.6 million Party members have resigned.why?Because it is stupid to announce your enemy about your attack plans ,in a little book called "the Nine Comentaries" .
The Chinese believe in harmony between men and between man and nature ,so they accept the leadership of the "sages" as long as they are not stupid and/or weak.So China accepts for now the leadership of USA in the world.
On the other hand,if we allow ourselves to look weak and stupid in their eyes,we are inviting their catastrophic attack.China occupies an area larger than Europe ,with hundreds of different peoples and languages and it was united in 200 BC by the king from the Qin dinasty(hence,the name) by force:he beheaded every enemy soldier that was captured in war.
Pres Bush called an axis of evil in 2002 and very transparently indicated that Iraq,north Korea and Iran will be attacked in a few years.Then vicepres Cheney said in an interview that US will attack Iraq.That was one year prior to war.the US forces failed to hold Afghanistannly Kabul is safe in that country.Iraq cannot be pacified and everyone is talking about retreat.On the other hand,China has been growing both economically and military from the past 3-4 decades.They feel that they have the right to reunite with Taiwan and that they must have a louder voice in the world.
Now that's all past,because the attack plans have already been made.Alliances have been forged with Russia,India,Iran.WE have to fight this war and win it.

How does a nuke act.
1 Once it's detonated first impact will desintegrate everithing on a large radius.
2 Radiation, gamma radiation is the most penetrating radiation, this type of radiation will stay along hundred of years if a large pay load of nukes are detonated, gamma radiation will penetrate led hard metals, it will be in the food you eat in the water you drink.
3 Radiation storms, of course after the impact you will have rain, storms with radiation clouds, think how it would be if it would be raining acid on you but much worse in intensity, winds containg the radiation, the way the wind blows depends on who dies.
4 Here comes the winter, if there is something bad it's the nuclear winter.
If anithing hapens to survive from over 20000 nukes or more from all over the world, the nuclear winter will spear us all of sufering, not only if we make it in the winter we would be sick already with all kind of defects, the winter would level us all, strong winds snow mixed with radiation will have you glow like a cristmass tree, the wind blowing would cary radiation from place to place you would perish just by inhailng air.

And yes, the Chinese do think they are better equipped than us to survive a nuclear conflict - with good reason, they have an active civil defense program, with lots of fallout shelters in every major population center. We are so enamored with a false sense of our own omnipotence & invulnerability, we don't even bother. Pride goeth before the fall...

They cant survive a nuclear conflict of thoulsands of nukes no one can and no one wins.
Nukes where they hit you will think a asteroid struk there, it levels everything, the wave is just too strong .
Second the earth would not be hospitable for man for at least 500 years.
Gamma radiation go's hard away, you cant wash it with anithing.
Hirosima 1 bomb and they still got above high radiation levels today, and that was 1 lame bomb comared to whats now a nuclear bomb.

Just want to correct some minor mistakes:
1.By the end of 2005, there are 70 million CPP members in China, around 6% of the population. I never heard any CCP member in China mainland resigned. Of course maybe some oversea CCP members did that, but who cares about them?

2. If U.S gov and U.S people really believe what FLG or Nine Comentaries told them are true, then I guess U.S will have an absolute wrong strategy for China.

Btw, China is not as red as most western people think . It is already 50% comunism and 50% capitalism.

Who is threatening who here?????????? I read the article, China intents to invade Taiwan, which was created because communists put the run on the old imperial class. Now China decides they want Taiwan even though it is not bothering them. Taiwan is an ally of the US. China is the bully on the block and constantly making threats now like North Korea (China's communist client state hand puppet Lil' Kim...), was making threats a few years ago.

While we are at it, what happened to Lil' Kim btw, did he get paid off or something? Haven't heard from him in awhile?

Truth is, nobody knows who's ruling that country so to me "Americans" will do just fine.

Taiwan is still a part of China. Some proofs:
1.On Taiwanese's passport, it is still printed as "Republic of China"(中华民国) . In China mainland the passport shows "People's republic of China"(中华人民共和国)
Even you don't know how to read chinese, you can tell that the characters of PRC inclues the ROC.

2. Taiwan just abandomed their re-unificaion(or counterattack?) plan last week which means Taiwan wanted to get China mainland back during the last 50 years. So we can say China mainland and Taiwan are still in the civil war status because both PRC(CCP)/ROC never declared or sign anything to stop the civil war.

"Invade" always refers to one country attacking another one.
No country including U.S has the right to interfere other country's interior affair.

I like China. I have a couple Chinease friends and they are great people. They are given a bad rap by their gov't. You can see why a liberal yank would relate to that, huh?

Could be, but I'm afraid the majority are "adults" who are so dumbed down that we get the impression they never completed elementary school.

And let me repeat again, I don't have a problem with american citizens. The truth is a MINORITY hijacked that country. That doesn't mean I'm gonna stop from calling this an American problem, cause it is.
