These are a few of the theories I have found many of which have several proven points if anyone else has any other information that they have come by on this topic please post. Most Theories are posted with links to take up less room.

Bible Location References
The only thing the Bible tells us concerning the Garden of Eden’s location is found in Genesis 2:10-14, “A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters. The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold…The name of the second river is the Gihon; it winds through the entire land of Cush. The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Asshur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.”

Possible Location Theories
1.It is likely that the Garden of Eden was completely destroyed in the Flood.www.gotquestions.org...

2.The Garden of Eden was located east of the Nile river and in the area known today as Al Mansura in Egypt. www.logoschristian.org...

3.Ten miles from the sprawling Iranian industrial city of Tabriz, to the northwest of Teheran, says British archaeologist David Rohl, he has found the site of the Biblical garden . www.biblicalheritage.org...

4.Under the waters of the Persian Gulf. ask.yahoo.com...

5. Somewhere In Missouri. ask.yahoo.com...
In detail on the Missouri Theory hereà www.utlm.org...

6.Mesopotamian region- Present day Iraq- Near the fertile crescent between the tigris and Euphrates rivers. (my theory as well as many others)

7.The Garden of Eden was located somewhere in Turkey.www.kjvbible.org...

8.Pamir- for detailed description on why Pamir go here www.aryan-nations.org... and for a description on the region Pamir go here ari.rdx.net...

I believe I saw that on Discovery not to long ago. Its a very convincing theory and it certainly makes sense regarding location and myth according to the bible.

``

just a guess

its that tropical zone 10 degrees north
its that tropical zone 10 degrees south

of the Equator

so, in effect, there are hundreds of Edens, so that different families-clans-tribes can identify with the stereotype or archtype place called Eden=beginning [or more exactly; Primal-Beginning]
......

It would make sense that Adam and Eve's grave is close to Eden. Their graves is in Saudi Arabia. So then the Saudi-Arabian theory seems the most logical one. Then this is the locations;

Eden's garden is a place; Junaynah (gnyn) while Eden itself is 'Adanah.

Junaynah = gnyn, diminutive of gn, cf. Hebrew gn, garden
Eden ('dn) = 'Adanah ('dn)

Pisjon = Shufan (spn)
Havila = Hawalah (hwlh)
Gihon = Wadi Bishah
Nubia = Kuthah (kwt)
Hiddekel = Wadi Tindaha
Assur = Bani Thawr (twr) (also called Al Abu Thawr)
Eufrat = Wadi Kharit
Ur = Waryah (wry)
Betel = Batilah (btl)
Ai (h-'y) = al-Ghayy (gy)
Negeb (kkr) h-yrdn = al-Naqb (nqb)

Don't forget history;
Todays Israel was settled in this way;
In 721 BC the Assyrian ruler Sargon II invaded and destroyed the Vest Arabic kingdom 'Israel' and moved the main population as prisoners to Persia.
The Assyrian king Sargon II conquered;
Sa-mi-ri-na (smrn) = al-Sarmayn (srmyn) (not Samaria)
Bit-Hu-um-ri-a (hmry) = Himrayah (hmry) (not 'house of Omri')
Mus-ku (msk) = Musqu (msq)
As-du-du ('sdd) = al-Sudud (sdd)
Ia-ma-nu (ymn) in Ia-mu (ym) = this refer to the people in the south (the biblical 'Benjaminites') wich did not live in the sea (ym) but in the territory of Yam (ym) between Wadi Najran and the open desert.

In 586 BC the Babylonian ruler Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the Vest Arabic kingdom 'Juda' and took with him its judic population as prisoners to Babylon.
Thus there was so many Jews in this new area that they founded cities with names after those in their old Vest Arabic homes.
The Jews left back in Arabia started using the expressions 'daughter of Zion' and 'daughter of Jerusalem' (to differensiate them from the the old Zion and Jerusalem) and they were full of hope for this New Jerusalem and Israel and many from the old arabic lands moved to the new. They also made songs of the new lands praise.

EDIT; to make it more clear;
We are still in Saudi Arabia so it is'nt Pishon but Shufan (spn)
and its not Havilah but Hawalah (hwlh) and here we find carnelian and Meccan balsam
hyym = the town Al Hiyah ('l hy = God of Life)
d'h = the town Al Da'yah ('l d'y = God of Knowledge)
so this El 'Olam founded the towns Junaynah, Al Hiyah and Al Da'yah, where people worshipped these God of Life and Knowledge
gyhwn is not Gihon but Wadi Juhan (ghn) (a part of Wadi Bishah)
and not Cush but Kuthah (kwt)
hdql Hiddekel in Hebrew, can not be Tigris as that is h-dql. The name have survived in the village Al Jahdal (ghdl) and the rivers name now is Wadi Tindahah
'swr is not Assyria but Bani Thawr (twr)
prt is not Euphrates but Wadi Kharif

Sorry, but a simple reading of the bible will show these so called "finds" to be rubbish.

After the Garden of Eden was the flood. A cataclysmic event that covered the earth in water.

When the water dissapated the survivors called hte land they found themselves in by the same names that they used in their old land. So we have "New" York, or multiple "Avon river"s today from settlers who came from historic lands.

The names of rivers and places that coincide to the Eden time lands are merely the same names carried over from that time to the post flood time.

There is no indication where eden was AT ALL in the world. the old rivers, landscapes, even landmasses would have changed by the flood.

I think this thread is covered earlier as well.

I never stated that the flood wasnt a theory and all it is is a theory... there still is no proof that the garden of eden ever existed or still exists or was wiped from existence...

I see the Garden of Eden as not a physical location on the planet, but rather a proverbial location within an individual. This state can be cultivated and learned, but only when one stumbles on the truth can that person find his or her own unique Garden. This is just my interpretation, and I can attest that the Garden of Eden is in fact a real place. It’s strange to me to think that people search outside themselves for this ancient idea.

Look up the book of Enoch- He was taken through the heavens.
The Third heaven called Paradise is where the Garden of Eden is located.
Adam and Eve were thrown onto Earth much like Satan for what they did and had to survive here.

Everyone is lost on this subject and needs to understand that its not even in this dimension. But good luck finding even 1/100th of paradise on Earth(Which is the Final test of mankind before destroying it).
