Ditto a mirror... you'd have to have the mirror up there floating in the sky.

And the projector needs something to project upon.

I have watched this thread .. loads of debunking, and skeptics and all of it is good... But I believe we can do one simple thing here.. WAIT!

If the Prophet fails to produce what he claims he will... Case closed.. Hoax, fraud.. or whatever you want to call it.

Umm you don't see the strings in the first pic either? There's three of them right there. The vertical strings that are apart of the blinds. Yes it's the dark line in the second picture. It's only a few inches away, but this is a small scale example. It doesn't matter how far away it is, if it's out of focus, regardless of how far away it is, it should have the same effect.

Now I believe this thing is a hoax too, but I just don't think it's something passing infront of the powerline.

I agree, in order to see a laser, it has to hit particles in the air, like smoke.
Plus at some distance a laser would be too small to see, unless it was very large.

With mirrors, the same would apply, unless you mean a mirror up in the sky, or attached to something flying. Then you would need the ability to aim it.

I still say he is doing it with balloons, but it is rather pointless to speculate for now.

I taped a documentary on crop circles where they were trying to create white orbs that have been seen near them. They used a white bag and fishing pole with someone running. It was intentionally out focus, but looked pretty good. When I have time, I will do a capture and post it.

This could solve the under or over the Power line dilema.

Here is what i did.

1) I took the LA3 ASF video and converted it to uncompressed AVI.

2) Then took the uncompressed video and split it to get just the PowerLine shot.

3) Then stabilized the area around the power line for the duration of the clip.

4) Then opened the stabilized video with VirtualDub 1.6.4

4a) Added the INVERT video filter then added 19% or 50 THRESHOLD filter. They must be added in that order or you will get just a black screen.

You can clearly see the objects light disappear while going through or behind the line.

The video shows a side by side frame by frame comparison

There are a couple more frames after this clip that the black object disappears also but i believe it was because of the quick jerky movement that was made with the camera. I am not a video guru so i cant say this is 100% accurate.

If you play with color filters a bit about 2-4 frames before the object hits the powerline it totally looks like a medium sized party or birthday balloon.

Well i hope this helps clear that up at least some.

I'm sorry my friend, but in the left you can see it pass under the power line, in the right you can't see the powerline whatsoever, so how does this prove anything ?

I think you missed the part where I said, "... if it's out of focus, regardless of how far away it is, it should have the same effect." Although I should try to get some examples of that if I can.

Sorry, but I can't. I see a balloon moving around with a power line behind it.

i'm not gonna believe SHI*, until I see a god damn spaceship....no floating orbs, or round balls, or balloons.....I want a god damn visible space ship that has lights and has a form other than a perfectly sphericle object, so called "PY"...........it is now the 3rd day with no physical evidence whatSOever..........

that must be one big powerline.. unless the balloon is very small. not sure whether or not powerlines get that big but i certainly havent seen any.
