Compilation: Some of the best UFO Cases (or the Classics)

Most of those cases on the first page cannot be debunked.

Here are some Australian "classic" UFO cases.

I divided the list into two. Cases I had read about but which occurred before my UFO interest started i.e. up to and including 1967; and from 1968 onwards where I had personal knowledge of the events.

First list

1. 31 August 1954 Goulburn, New South Wales

An Australian Navy pilot sighted two objects near his aircraft, with ground based radar confirmation.

2. 26 & 27 June 1959 Boianai, Papua

Multiwitness sighting of UFO and its crew.

3. 4 October 1960 Cressy, Tasmania

An Anglican priest and his wife reported sighting a cigar shaped object, plus multiple smaller "saucers."

4. 15 February 1963 Moe, Victoria

A close range observation of an unusual object, by a farmer.

5. 24 May 1965 Eton Ridge, Queensland

Three men sighted a "machine" near the ground.

6. 19 January 1966 Euramo, Queensland

A "saucer" was seen rising from a swamp, and a flattened area of reeds on a lagoon was found.

7. 6 April 1966 Westall, Victoria

Dozens of students and a teacher, saw an object pass over their school. An associated ground trace was reported.

Second list

1. 22 August 1968 Zanthus, Western Australia

The crew of an aircraft reported sighting a formation of objects.

2. 8 August 1971 Kadina, South Australia

A man reported his car engine and lights were affected by a nearby oval shaped object.

3. July 1972 and subsequently Frankston, Victoria

A woman reported encounters with an object, which affected the car; and follow-up events.

4. 30 November 1972 Murray Bridge, South Australia

A motor mechanic's vehicle was affected by a nearby diamond shaped object.

5. 4 February 1973 Kimba, South Australia

Four people in three separate vehicles saw an orange rectangle in a clearing, with an entity present.

6. 30 September 1980 Rosedale, Victoria

After a very close encounter with a dome shaped object, an unusual trace was discovered.

7. 25 July 1988 Jamestown, South Australia

A depression in the ground was found by police after a farmer reported a close encounter.

I didn't see any mention of the Beverly, MA case on April 22, 1966. It involved nine witnesses including police officers.

though it may not be a classic case when I was 17 Me and my mother had a sighting. It was one or two in the morning and she awoke me from sleep to look out the window at the most unusual thing I had ever seen in the sky. It moved slowly and had lights every color of the spectrum going around it. I was still young and not the ufo enthusiast that I am now but this object was amazing! You could see it was a structured craft and not just a light in the sky. The colors around the ufo showed its enormous size and they blinked around the ufo in a sort of a pattern though it would stop in midstream and the lights would head in the other direction even faster than the sequence from before. My mother and I rushed outside and once the ufo started away from us we climbed in the car and followed it out the road. We were mesmerized. When I spoke of the ufo later the way I described it was like Christmas tree lights that moved up and down the tree blinking in a pattern but there was no set pattern on this ufo the lights would start left to right blinking around the object and then the lights would head in the other direction at a faster pace and just keep changing.I live 30 minutes from wytheville Va and found this was near the time of their ufo flap. I found only one description from the wytheville case that described what we saw, but when looking for photos the 1987 conn. ufo matches what I saw and is around the same time. This is so interesting. I have done some extensive investigation re: the infamous "swamp gas" cases which took place in Michigan on March 20, and 21, 1966. In the March 20 case, which took place on the Frank Mannor farm near Dexter, Michigan, I was able to obtain the police report (Washtenaw County) and interview several individuals who were present at the time.

But what's key here is the similiarity between these two cases which took place only weeks apart. In the Beverly, MA., case of April 1966, a description of a football shaped object with sounds like ricocheting came from the object. The same was described in the Dexter case---a football shaped object and, according to the police report, "a whistle similiar to the sound of a rifle bullet ricochet was heard as the object passed directly over the Mannor's in just an instant." Also, the color and kinds of lights described in both cases appear to be similiar.

i believe in all of this UFO and abductions. Did you guys know that the most people believe to be abducted are in Nome, Alaska. You guys should watch the ''Fourth Kind'' its a movie that was made in 2010 that will totally change your thoughts about aliens!

hello im new at this site but i recently have been having many questions due to the fact i saw a triangle in the sky a few months ago also i believe that everything is more connected then we think atlantis the knights templar ufos hitler and the recent socialistic bailouts evrything is happing to fast and to close to 2012. thats my perspective anyways

What about the cases on www.alienresistance.org... who have stopped alien abduction? Funny how the biggest alien disclosure that has been discovered is the one thing that seems to be ignored by the ufo community.

Aliens really...yeah I don't believe in "aliens" and "UFOs" When we see "UFOs" we are just us hallucinating...our imagination....misinterpretation. That's just our imagination, because of all the movies about aliens abducting people. That's all it is IMAGINATION.

Top of the Food Chain is a purely fictional account of one of the great mysteries of

distances are great for a reason. The less contact one life form has with another life
form the better the chances of survival for both civilizations. This is a lesson that
mankind will surely learn once he faces the question of who will remain at the Top of
the Food Chain.

The question is: what percentage of the "action" we are seeing in these videos CAN NOT be attributed to SPACE JUNK? In some cases, you see nonlinear motion...i think it is ASTOUNDING...

The Flatwoods Monster sighting was a national story in the fall of 1952.
Don't know if it was mentioned here, but I think it would be right up there
with Rosswell,Mandell and a few other of the earlier sightings that were
occuring quite frequently in the post World War two era.
